Bask in the luxury of being fully understood and unconditionally loved. Dare to see yourself as I see you: radiant in My righteousness, cleansed by My blood. I view you as the one I created you to be, the one you will be in actuality when heaven becomes your home. It is My Life within you that is changing you from glory to glory. Rejoice in this mysterious miracle! Thank Me continually for the amazing gift of My Spirit within you.
Try to depend on the help of the Spirit as you go through this day of life. Pause briefly from time to time so you can consult with this Holy One inside you. He will not force you to do His bidding, but He will guide you as you give Him space in your life. Walk along this wondrous way of collaboration with My Spirit.
Psalm 34:5
English Standard Version
Those who look to him are radiant,
and their faces shall never be ashamed.
Those who look to him are radiant,
and their faces shall never be ashamed.
2 Corinthians 5:21
English Standard Version
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
2 Corinthians 3:18
New King James Version
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Galatians 5:25
English Standard VersionIf we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.
My Prayer
Lord, thank you for knowing everything about me. And thank you for making me righteous, completely accepted by God, not because of anything I have done, but because of the perfect work of Jesus, your sacrifice, my redeemer, my justification for my sin. I am clean, not because I do more good than bad, but I am clean through the blood of the Perfect Spotless Lamb of God. Thank you for not leaving me alone, but giving me Your Spirit, to each day carry me through life, showing me the correct path to walk.

Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home......
ReplyDeleteHeavenly Father, Thank you for making me who I am and who I have become. Lord, help me see myself better as You see me. Too many times I am focused on what is wrong with me instead of all the gifts You have given me and all the things You have done for me. I pray for patience while I feel I am in war with life as it is during those times that I feel abandoned when it is really You fathering me to become a better person. It is in those times I am fighting Your will over mine. I ask that I seek Your presence and Your will throughout this day, rejoicing in Your spirit.
ReplyDeleteAmen. Thank you for sharing.

DeleteMy day isn't the same with Jesus calling every morning!
Can anyone pray for me, guidance ππΌ π
Unknown not sure if you meant to say “without “ Jesus calling every morning
DeleteBut my belief is we are ....all just by doing things like reading, whether it’s Jesus Calling or any other spiritual material are praying. We are seeking , we are looking for guidance
and speaking for myself I have to pray to get out of my own way enough to “see” the guidance that is right in front of me
So I pray and I pray and if I take the time and look over my life with it’s ups and downs
I can see where I was guided and I am still here with lots to be grateful for ( again if I get out of my own way)
The simplest prayer is “Help Me God”
So I pray Help me God for myself , you ,and all the “Unknowns “ and “Knowns” on this blog and all over this world
Joining in this prayer for mankind, help us Jesus! ππ
DeleteAwesome Jeff! Just awesome. So true these words you write. I can so relate. Dear Heavenly Father, help me to not fight your will. Help me to see myself just as you see me. I love you Jesus. Amen.
DeleteLord, help me to take the pause that refreshes with the Holy Spirit throughout my day today.
DeleteAs the world is encouraging me to put my soul in Christmas mode (for the sake of feeding the economy), I prefer to linger with the spirit of the present season, the spirit of thanksgiving. This spirit beckons my soul to realize how blessed I am and that all my blessings come from the love of God for me. Our reading today speaks of the transformation occurring within me by the work of the Holy Spirit. As was the case in yesterday’s reading, I am reminded this is a mysterious miracle, unfathomable to my mind but occurring just the same. In another reading I came upon this thought: “Thankfulness is the way that the mystery keeps happening.” Yet another reason to be filled with thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteAmen: the attitude of gratitude helps us gain altitude.
DeleteYes thank you, Bob
Delete...Thankfulness is the way that the mystery keeps happening.” Yet another reason to be filled with thanksgiving...
And I am!
I'm with you Bob! My favorite holiday hands down is Thanksgiving. We won't have our 3 children and their families with us this year but my husband and I will be with my 92 year old Mother and my twin sister. We are all so thankful that we are blessed every day and our family are safe and doing well. Christmas to me means cookies and I have begun my baking and freezing so I'm ready for adding much sweetness and many smiles. All my blessings come from the love of God for me and I realize every day that He is at my side through all. I am reminded of the Christ in me, the Hope of Glory. We are tethered to Heaven by our faith and Jesus is the only Gate and He is ours. Rejoice and be glad!
DeleteAmen Brie! The mystery made manifest keeps happening through our thanksgiving in our hearts, and for that I am thankful.
ThanksGiving is my absolute favorite holiday. Giving thanks to our Giver of all things for which to be thankful will remain the same for us this year, minus the 40-50 relatives from all over the country that we cooked for and with whom we spent Thanksgiving Day and the weekend together. This year, those Memories will have to light the corners of my mind along with the pics my photographer brother always provided. So much to be thankful for remains the same and I am grateful.
DeleteThank you Lord For for my Savior Jesus Christ and the holy Spirit. Please forgive me for anything that I have do e, said , thought of, or dreamed that is against your will. Please come into my mind body and soul this day, and every day of the rest of my life.
ReplyDeleteRepeating endoscopy results I posted late yesterday.
ReplyDelete*******************************************************
Humbly praising and thanking my Lord. No bleeding in the stomach area. The nurse tried 3 times and apologized each time before she got needle in her vein. Debbi's arm is very swollen and blue from inside elbow to wrist, 2 inches wide. Debbi said she is better shape than the others coming from endoscopy. One was a nursing home patient, the other a prisoner, shackled arms and legs to the gurney. Praying he has repented. Debbi was sick Monday and Tuesday with a fever, suffering anxiety about procedure and didn't sleep Tuesday night. She is home thankful, relaxed and ready to sleep. Giving thanks to my faithful JC Warriors for all the prayers. I love ♥ you.
Sassy Mom,
DeleteSo glad to hear that Debbi received good news concerning her endoscopy. I'm sorry to hear about her arm but on the bright side it will heal. The people on this site are amazing and always willing to pray for all in need. As I've said before, even though I don't write often on here it is the first place I come every morning. You are all always in my prayers.
Everyone have a blessed day.
TJ
Hallelujah! Praise the mighty name of God! May Debbi rest now, being refreshed & renewed for her Saviour, King, & Deliverer has once again released her from the wiles of the enemy. Her health & wellbeing belongs to the Lord. Amen!
DeleteHappy to hear the good news for Debbi - other than the bruised arm. Prayers that will heal quickly. The Lord is always so good to us. KS
DeleteRejoicing with you Sassy Mom- Praise God from Whom ALL Healing and Blessings Flows, praise Him all creatures! Thank You Jesus!

Oh, Sassy Mom... this is such good new! I'd rather have a bruised arm than stomach issues so we'll take that! Thanking our Lord for watching over your family.
DeleteDid not read yesterday's posts..one of those days that I could only repeat Jesus I trust in you..Jesus I trust in you over and over for my loved ones. Thank you Jesus for answered prayer for Debbi..Norah..Mad Fox..for all.
DeleteOh, Sassy Mom - I read your post this evening and had to get on here tonight before bed. I needed a 'jump-start' for tomorrow and again, I read the beautiful victory for your daughter, Debbi. God Bless her and let that relaxed sleep take her through the night. Same for you Sassy Mom - there is no rest for the Mommy, whose daughter is in angst. You will rest well tonight!
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I hung up 30 mins ago with my daughter who just discovered her (HER) wages are being garnished due to a roommate who didn't pay the rent. Father, I lift my daughter to you, YOUR DAUGHTER (of he most High God1) and thank you for giving her rest tonight.
And, Father, let me rest. Let me wake up blessed and peaceful and ready to do my job. I'll be driving 2 hours tomorrow round trip - let that time be profitable, Lord. Let my heart be calm; remind me that my children were Yours first, and you have protected them, blessed them, even when they don't call you Lord.
Turn my brain off, God, so that I sleep and pray when I wake and know that You have all 5 of mine and their 4 and all of their kiddies and the husband I am praying for, for my daughter. Bring her home, Lord, to meet the man of her dreams and our prayers.
Norah
Father God, as this day unfolds before me, I know nothing of it's contents, You do, like a golden carpet you have rolled it out for me to step into. You nudge me to step into it, your eyes lock into mine as you assure me to fear not, You see ahead even when I can't. I love you Lord.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lord, for being by Debbi's side and for good results! May all of these daughters and their moms get some good rest.
ReplyDeleteThank you always for the prayers, TJ! Praying for you as well.
Safe travels, Norah.
Help me, Lord, to continue to trust in You. Your unconditional love is a wonderful blessing. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI have been on this site fairly consistently for the past several weeks. I own a copy of the JC book, but often find myself at a coffee shop with no room in my bag for all the things (laptop, binders, notebooks, purse, etc.) plus the book. So I've been accessing the book through this site. I have been so encouraged and uplifted by the love and support shown in the comments of this JC family! It's not very often that I open up and ask for prayer (especially from a group of people I don't really know), but I would take a step in the "vulnerable" direction and ask for prayer this morning. My "Gentleman Friend" of 11 years has just decided he's not interested in continuing our relationship, and I am brokenhearted. I have good moments here and there, and am proclaiming out loud every chance I get that God is good! And He is trustworthy! He works all things out for our good, and that includes healing the hurt from rejection of the one person that was supposed to love us unconditionally. "Bask in the luxury of being FULLY UNDERSTOOD and UNCONDITIONALLY LOVED!" Holding tight to my confessions of faith this morning...and thankful that we can count it all joy when trials come our way. Many thanks for your prayers!

DeleteRubyfusion, I join Jan, Loveconquersall and the rest of the warriors for Jesus on this site in prayers and well wishes for you. I just asked for the exact same support last week and these men and women came through for me. I completely understand your situation because I am there now. Read November 8th if you haven't done so. It's uplifting. Blessings and prayers going out to you. Stay connected to The Vine.
DeleteThank you so much, Jan!
DeleteSomehow I must have missed the November 8th post. I will check it out now. Thank you so much, Suzanne! Praying for you, as well.
DeleteOh my goodness, Suzanne! So much of what you wrote on November 8 rings true for me, as well! I, too, am 50 years old, and my "Gentleman Friend" (which I have called him from the get-go, feeling we're both too old for the word "boyfriend";) lost his 19-year old son to a car accident about 7 years ago. Tim is a good man, as well. Just lost. I pray he comes to the end of himself and discovers God's open arms waiting for him.
DeleteIs there a way you and I could connect privately? I would love to walk this healing journey with you.
Love and blessings on you TODAY!

✝️ FROM PSALM 119 HE
FOLLOWING GOD'S DIRECTION
Just tell me what You want me to do, make it plain, and I will do it, Lord. As long as I live I'll wholeheartedly obey You. Make me walk in Hope along Your Right Paths for I know how delightful they really are. Reassure me that Your Promises are meant for me, for I trust, hope, and reverence You.
π THANKSGIVING PRAYER FOR US:
Dear Heavenly Father God, Thank You for Your Divine Plan to be intimately involved in my life and directing my paths. Would You give me clear direction when I pray to You about my circumstances? Since I am a visual learner, could You draw a simple picture for me? Stick figures and arrows work fine. And would You help me obey and steadfastly follow the path You have set? Would You help me trust and lean on Your Word for guidance, no matter what situation or interference I'm faced with in this earthly realm?
In Jesus' Name I ask. I seek. I knock. I praise. I thank. Amen

DeleteThank you Brie! Amen! KS
DeleteThank you for your posts, Brie, for sharing from your beautiful heart that loves her Lord. Here is one back at you from my devotional time this AM. From a prayer by Maria Faustina Kowalska (lived in the early part of the last century), she prayed, "O Jesus, Divine Prisoner of Love..." That was a new monicker for Jesus I had never heard before but after time spent in contemplation of it, WOW! Our Lord is trapped in loving you and me and He can never get out, He is confined to love us forever and ever. I prayed that I, too, may become a prisoner of love for Him; as the classic hymn, 'O Sacred Head Now Wounded', concludes:
DeleteO make me thine forever;
And should I fainting be,
Lord, let me never, never
Outlive my love for thee.
God be with you. Bob
Dear Brie! Thanks for your sweet words and prayer. May our loving Father always guide your paths and instruct you on your daily journey. I wish it could be with stick figures and arrows so you could see His light on your path clearly and know which direction to walk. I do feel His guiding Hand through my day sometimes twisting me right off the path that I created in my mind. His way is always much better so I trust His ever present guidance. Let us stay in His presence and allow His spirit to work through us today to do His will. Let us work hard to bear good fruit as a gift back for this brand new day. I'm having my son, my daughter in love and my dear 2 year old grandsone, Gabriel over today for chicken burritos. I will make many of them. I will especially enjoy this meal because I must have a Colonoscopy on the 17th and pretty soon, I'll only have a liquid diet. God is with me through all of this. I have a Pap Smear on the 18th too and a Mammogram on the 24th. So many doctors but I know God is holding my Hand so I just thank Him for the victories to come.
DeleteThank you Bob! I never heard that title for our Lord, Divine Prisoner of Love. What good fruit to ponder. I too pray that I may be a prisoner of love for Him just as Paul who was so much in love with Him, said he was happy to be a prisoner of Jesus Christ. If only we could love like He does. We know we are bound like a prisoner in His perfect love, and we are Heaven bound by our great love for Him.
Your trifecta of dr visits sounds like me during my birthday month! I will be praying that you to Ace all of your tests. But meanwhile back at the ranch, I like chicken burritos!
DeleteAlthough I have prayed Sr Faustina's novena many many times, Jesus as a Prisoner of Love must have been in my blind spot, behind all my me, me, me requests. Thanks for bringing good things to light, Bob. I shall ponder and pray on yet another one of Jesus' Infinitely Good Characteristics.

ReplyDeleteThe sparrow's not worried ‘bout tomorrow
Or the troubles to come
The lily’s not thinking ‘bout the seasons
The drought or the flood
A tree that's planted by the water
Isn't fazed by the fire
So why should I be?
[Chorus]
’Cause You take good care of me
You take good care of me
You know what I need before I even ask a thing
And You hold me in Your hands
With a kindness that never ends
I'm carried in Your love no matter what the future brings
Yeah, You take good care of me
The sun's not worried ‘bout the winter
‘Cause soon it will pass
The light's not thinking ‘bout the darkness
Or the shadow it casts
A heart that's planted in forgiveness
Doesn't dwell in the past
So why should I be?
I know there must be more
But I can’t get past Your Kindness
I know there’s got to be more
But I can't get past Your Goodness
I know there must be more
But I can’t get past Your Mercy
I know there's got to be more
But I can't get past Your Forgiveness
I know there's got to be more

DeleteWhat a wonderful song sweet Brie!!!! I just sent the link to my youngest son who doesn't seem to believe in God anymore along with his wife and their unbaptized son. But as a musician and singer we have that in common and hopefully the words will reach his heart and awaken his faith.
DeleteAmen, we are made anew by His blood, radiant and a bright and shining light of His love.
Brie, you often grab pieces of songs that fit a theme, which I love. When you find one and share all the lyrics, would you kindly share the title or artist so we can find more? π❤️πΆ Thank you!!!
DeleteYes! Gladly!
DeleteThe prayer in a song I posted this morning:

I didn't read far enough, Brie (talk about needing arrows and directions!), so I searched the lyrics and found it. LOVE that song. I'm printing it out for my Ladies on Monday. THANK YOU. And, thank you for your prayer for me last night. Love you so much.
DeleteI love that we are now sending links for songs. I have developed quite an inspirational list of songs referenced on this site. Thank you!
DeleteI am also visual, Brie, and apparently audible too in ways of connecting to our Lord. Thank God He can meet us wherever and however we are able to meet Him.

DeleteRomans 8:14 “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”
ReplyDeleteLoving Father, I thank You for this bright sunny morning after the downpour of showers of blessings the past two days. I humbly surrender my life to You this day,and ask that You help me to have a view of myself and my abilities that is not insecure nor puffed up. Take this life of mine and do as You Will. I can never loose with Your perfect Will for me. Use me just as You made me and let my praise, worship, singing, glory and thanksgiving to You, rise upon those whose path I come across to bless. May I never loose sight of the truth of how understood and unconditionally loved I am by You, and always see myself as You see me. I depend on the Holy Spirit who lives in me, to think through me and love through me. Thank You for changing me from ‘glory to glory,' all for Jesus’ sake. Amen.

DeleteThank you God, for this new day, its beauty and its light. Thank you for your Presence and my increasing awareness of it thanks to Scripture and a routine that includes reading and praying with this JC family. Thank you for blessing our friends and family with your unconditional love; may they feel it, know it and share it. Please help me to know the truth about the virus. I no longer watch the evening news, but the level of seriousness with which the effects are taking a toll on our collective psyche and relationshios feels stressful. Help me to be smart, take right action and personal responsibility and refrain from judging those who think feel and act differently. I know you have this covered, mask or no mask. How can I help?
ReplyDeleteYes, dear Audra, To mask or not to mask, that is the question. I have often asked Jesus this same question, Jesus if you were walking around in Your Body today, what would you do? Would you wear a mask or not?
DeleteThe Holy Spirit led me to Romans 14: 16-22. What jumped off the page was...aim for Harmony and build each other up stirring up goodness and peace and joy from the Holy Spirit.
As for my husband and I we have no choice. Both of us are recent cancer survivors. Part of his lung was removed due to cancer. He had to wear masks before covid. We have a large heavy duty Oxygen machine, and he has to inhale breathing treatments every morning God sends, in order to walk from the house to the vehicle. His pulmonologist said should he contract covid, he would die. He could not survive on a ventilator, and would probably not be put on one.
We rarely go anywhere but when we do, we mask up and try to keep our distance, respecting others, who have the luxury of not having to wear a mask nor socially distance. We have been laughed at, jeered, made fun of, and had our space encroached by a person who said, you're wearing a mask, let's see if it works. We say nothing, yet Wondering all the time, Lord Jesus how did You take it? Well, at least we have not been spit on --- yet.
We recently had an experience where a gentleman said, I see you're wearing a mask, would you prefer if I put one on?
He must have read Roman's 14! Oh were we ever happy and thankful to experience someone whose deeds matched the doctrine and who actually aimed for Harmony and building each other up stirring up goodness and peace and joy from the Holy Spirit...including times we differed. Thank You Jesus! Please let me go and do likewise.
This broke my heart, Brie - to think of you and your hubby being laughed at, jeered at. I had my dukes up!! 'Let me at 'em, Father!!' We attended a wedding last weekend and the Father of the Bride said in his welcome, "Please tell me how I can make you more comfortable." They had gone to every extent to be safe, kind and protective of their guests. It was one of those events that we just weren't willing to miss, but were so thankful for the thoughtfulness that prevailed.
DeleteGod bless the FOTB and all those who love God they cannot see, by loving other people they can see.

Delete“Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.

I am so sorry to hear that Brie. That makes my heart heavy. I have the opposite problem. I can't wear a mask due to a severe ptsd anxiety disorder that I have had my entire life. However, I also feel that the Lord has all his children and will always keep them and doesn't want us to live in fear of our lives. I hope that we can stomp this completely out of our lives and take back our peace and happiness from evil.
DeleteDear Lord,

Praying always for you sweet Brie and our dear Janet. Asking, seeking, knocking, praising with thanksgiving! Thank You dear Jesus for making our ways straight, our bodies strong and our hearts joyful. Amen
DeleteGreat reminder for me today Brie, putting others needs before our own to the best of our ability and then relying on God for the understanding we don't have with the unknown. Praying blessings over your life Brie...God love you so.

DeleteListening to Brie's music and praying for a burst of energy to complete some much-needed tasks in my office. Sigh. I've rested today, most of the day and then finally got busy. Made a meatloaf, paid bills. While I was resting, I was reading, "The Mitford Beside Companion," by Jan Karon - one of my very, favorite authors. In this one section, Father Tim is asked, "Are you too exhausted to run and too scared to rest?" I thought, "Hmmm...that kind of describes how I feel," and it was in response to Father Tim's statement about feeling dried up. I need to be refreshed. And God promises that every day...and maybe it's like Brie was saying when she 'missed,' something probably due to the me, me, me prayers. It made me laugh. As my dad used to say, "I resemble that comment," (instead of, "I resent that...."
ReplyDeleteJC Family, remember the young man that I asked you to pray for who had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor? My loving family and friends raised over $700 for her on Go Fund Me and while he would not see her (he didn't want anyone to see him dying), she was able to go spend a week with her brother in FL and attempt to come to grips with this dilemma. Her conclusion when she returned home was that she was being selfish to not honor his wishes. "It's not about me." I was amazed, humbled and heart-broken for her. She called last night, in tears. We were celebrating our dear friend's birthday, but we stopped everything and talked with her for over an hour. We cried, we prayed, we praised God that we knew her son's future. Today, she was a little better though no where near resolved. I have no other words for her but The Word. I can't fathom her grief, though I know many of you on this site have shared your experiences. She wanted me to print off several support groups for her to call...she wants to heal and be able to help others - that is this woman's incredible heart! I'm crying as I type this because it makes me think of Our Father, who gave His ONLY, BEGOTTEN SON, for us...so Dottie can know she'll see Doug again. So I know that in spite of family disputes, my children are sanctified, born again, going to Heaven and all Hell can't stop them - not even their refusal to accept what they accepted years ago but now think it was just 'caving to our wishes.' I call...well, you know what I call. And I've told those of ours who say that, "Like it or not - we have Eternity together." Not quite the Love of God, right?
So, my office isn't spic and span, my desk is still cluttered. The meatloaf is made and the mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts are cooking. We'll thank God for His bounty. We'll eat together with whoever wants to join us. I'll watch a light-hearted movie while my guys watch more news and I will go to bed with these songs from you, Brie, in my heart and mind. And I will say, "In Jesus' Name I ask. I seek. I knock. I praise. I thank. Amen"
Thank you dear JC Family for letting me rant. In spite of my whining, I really am still praying for all of you! Tomorrow will be better.
Love hearing from you, Norah. Be blessed knowing you are special and precious in our eyes, and more importantly, in His eyes.
DeleteAmen Brie! We sure do love our dear sister. God bless her always.
DeleteNorah, your 'rant' is our blessing. It is amazing that God uses everything in these JC postings, as I read the thanks lifted to Heaven, I find I am thanking Him too. As I read the prayers I pray along also. As I see the songs/hymns and praise posted, I'm lifted up and start to worship my Lord and Savior. Thank you for ranting. He wasted nothing when we give it to Him.
DeleteGod Bless you, Sister Brie - I fear my rants at times!
ReplyDeleteFear not ♥π♥
DeleteI posted yesterday that my friend Scott who beat colon cancer now has Covid. Please keep him in your prayers. I was with him and got close to him on Wednesday but just for a few minutes. Since I found out that I have been exposed, I have been wearing a mask everywhere especially at my family gathering and I'm going to get tested in the middle of the week anyway. Thanking God for a negative result. Thanks for your sincere prayers for Scott and for me and my family. Thank You dear Jesus for showing us your faithfulness and for healing dear Scott and Terri and her family and Norah of her cough and all those suffering in all ways. Father we know you can do all things and we trust You to answer our prayers. Waiting and Trusting. Thank You Jesus!
ReplyDeleteFather, please cover Scott and all others afflicted with this virus, with Your hands of healing and restoration. Give Jeanne a negative result from her testing of it. Keep her close in You and protected. Please eradicate this virus from our earth. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen. God bless.
DeleteJoining warriors in placing you and Scott at the feet of Jesus dear Jeanne. Trusting God for negative results for you and complete healing for Scott. God's go this! We uphold you both. In Jesus' name. Amenππ
DeletePraying for your friend Scott, Jeanne and that he recovers quickly and completely. Thanking God for protecting you, Jeanne and that your test is a negative and your loved ones protected. I was thankful to read of about your time with your family and how you and God 'navigated' through the possible negatives. Your loving example will win.
Delete**win their hearts to the Lord!
Delete♥πππ♥ Healing prayers are hovering over until you say, It is well...
DeletePraying for you Jeanne and Scott, especially. Praying a spirit of thankfulness to permeate our hearts and our world.
DeleteThank you dear sisters and family for your prayers for Scott, me and all those who are in need of God's faithfulness and healing. You have no idea how much your prayers and encouragement mean to me!
DeleteCharm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. (Proverbs 31:30). But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7). Do not let your adorning be external -- the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear -- but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. (1 Peter 3:3-4).
ReplyDeleteThanks my sister! Amen. The beauty in our hearts will never fade away and His light inside us will never go out.
DeleteIf we fill ourselves with His Word, we will always shine.
Amen dear Janet! May we all embody a gentle and quiet spirit, so we will be pleasing to our loving Father.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Helper that lives within me. Help me to submit to the Holy Spirit and Your will as I walk through this blessed day that You have provided for me. Let me consult with the Spirit and open my ears to hear and to receive the teachings and direction of Your Spirit and help me abide in all that You are speaking to me. Help me to stay in Your will and to walk in Your ways and not my own. Let me be aware of Your Presence within me at all times and to not do things in my own strength or in my own way, but to look to You in all things and to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit within me. Thank You Jesus. I praise You Lord always. Thank You for all my benefits and blessings Lord. You are such an amazing Father. You are the One and Only God Almighty and there is no other God but You. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.

DeleteJanet - Echoing your prayers dear Sister in Christ ..... "Help me to stay in Your will and to walk in Your ways and not my own." Thank you for blessing my day with your heart felt prayers. We love you.
Amen! Psalm 103:1-5 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
DeleteBless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Amen dear Janet Amenππ. Have spirit filled day.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Janet dear sister in Christ, π AMEN
ReplyDeleteNot long after waking today, my wife checked her Facebook, and saw Canon Andrew White, conducting Sunday service from his invalid chair. We took the opportunity in line with him to share Holy Communion together. What an absolute blessing! Precious indeed to sense His Presence with us.
ReplyDeleteLifting this day and each of you to Our Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. Praying for you, Janet, as you drive in the dark - is it going well? When I wake up and it's dark, I picture you driving to work in a beacon of Light.
ReplyDeleteLove to all of you on this chilly Fall morning - counting our blessings. Peter, blessed that you and your wife could share communion together. My hubby and I are preparing for our zoom fellowship and thanking God for the time we had with our family yesterday.
Enjoy this peaceful Sunday, dear JC Family!
So happy you also spent time with your family dear Norah.
DeleteLove to you and all our dear JC Family.
Praying with you for our dear Janet that God will give her new eyes that see perfectly in the dark, and a bright light on her path to guide her in this wilderness. Thank You Jesus!

Open my heart to receive all Your messages of love to me. Let Your Spirit embody me Lord. I am free in You Lord. I will rest in Your perfect sovereignty. There's no other place I want to be but in Your loving arms. You protect, guide and direct me through everything. With You, there is no fear. Thank You Jesus π. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen π.
ReplyDeleteKeep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (Jude 1:21).
DeleteThank you, Janet, for this awesome prayer. You're so right in that there is no other place I want to be but in His loving arms! Have a blessed day, dear Janet!

DeleteAmen and Amen. Thank you so much for that wonderful prayer dear Janet. I have a lot on my mind but I’m resting in the Lord! He can handle everything and His promises are true. I continue to see His faithfulness and I am so grateful.
"Bask in the luxury of being fully understood and unconditionally loved."
ReplyDeletePsalm 139:2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.
Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
There is such peace, such relief in being fully understood and unconditionally loved.
These two elements; being understood and being loved, form the basis of our wellbeing.
Many ailments affect our human condition when we are unloved and misunderstood.
In human terms being understood and being loved at best is only partial.
But our Lord Jesus, knowing the worst of us, places no conditions on His love for us and through the indwelling Holy Spirit understands us completely.
As I think on that I start to relax, I start to feel whole, at peace. Because "It is My Life within you that is changing you from glory to glory"
He sees us as complete, shining, resplendent in the robes of righteousness He bought for us.
He sees us as His sinless, perfect creation.
I'd love to see that now, just have a glimpse?
At best we see ourselves as a work in progress, but one glorious day we will see ourselves as He sees us, and see Him Face to face. I love you, Thank You Lord Jesus. WOW!
Amen, Peter! I'll take it to a WOW, WOW, WOW!!!
DeleteThat was awesome and moving dear brother Peter!!! Thank you so much! I am happy to be clay in His mighty Hands. Wish I could see how He sees me.
DeleteOur God is a Redeemer and a Reverser! Our God--who enters in and says "but" when all seems lost -- is all powerful and all good. We were dead, but He raised us to life. Something was lost, but now it's found. There was no way, but God made away. Be on the look out for --But God -- moments and the Suddenlies of God, where God surprisingly breaks into time and space with an intervention. Pray and expect God to show up in situation you encounter! HALLELUJAH!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat Love and Blessings to this Awesome JCFAMILY. I intercede for this family to go from Glory to Glory! JJ
Acts 13:29-30. "When they had carried out all that was written about him, they took him down from the cross and laid him in a tomb. BUT God, raised him from the dead ..."
Amen! Thanks dear JJ! He can do All things! We have a very present and faithful Helper at all times. Our Way Maker makes a way even when things look hopeless. He did that for me today twice. Hallelujah!!!
DeleteAmen JJ
ReplyDeleteAmen! Getting my BUT in gear as I greet today. Blessings one and all ♥️π
ReplyDeletePRAISE THE LORD! His timing, not mine. I "lost" a set of keys 6 MONTHS AGO that turned up today in my winter coat pocket! Of course I thought I had checked ALL of my pockets. Grateful for the change in weather πππ
ReplyDeleteAudra --- Praising the Lord with you! Just love the Lord's ways!
DeleteIt must be key season, Audra
DeleteIn 2024, It's my turn π
Rejoicing with you dear Audra that our faithful God found your set of keys! He made a way in your wilderness. We continue to see His faithfulness shine like the sun! How blessed we are to belong to such a good and loving Father!
ReplyDeleteNo one else loves me unconditionally and understands me like our loving God. He reads my thoughts and knows when I need a little more rest or comfort or joy. What a friend we have in Jesus. He understands our human weaknesses and challenges so well. He loves us exactly as we are, flawed and broken but trusting and confident in His presence. We love because He first loved us.
ReplyDelete1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
Psalm 139:23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.
Amen! Hallelujah ππ
ReplyDeleteRight there with you, Jeanne.
DeleteI Declare in Jesus' name: The Glory of the Lord is upon us wherever we go! HALLELUJAH!!!
Amen. Hallelujah!
DeleteThank you dear warriors for prayers for my son's FIL. He is still fighting for his life. C-diff toxins are still a threat. He did go home but still has all the nasty symptoms. He got infused yesterday as a last effort to clear the toxins. Please continue to pray. Thank you & much love to all ❤️ππ
ReplyDeleteContinued prayers for your son's FIL and #2 son's marriage. Calling on the name of Jesus who changes everything!
DeleteI have been praying for the effectiveness of the infusion so your son's Father in love will be rid of the C-diff toxins for good. God can clear them from his body. Trusting in His power and mercy.
DeleteThank You Father for making a Way to bring this good man back to perfect health. Guide the doctors and heal his body in the powerful Name of Christ Jesus, our Risen Lord. Amen
"Bask in the luxury of being fully understood and unconditionally loved."
ReplyDeleteThis, to my understanding is what every human being cries out for; outside of a relationship with God being fully understood and unconditionally loved simply cannot be found.
The lack of being fully understood and unconditionally loved is the cause of all human heartache, sorrows and failed marriages and relationships.
Lamentations 3:22-23 "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

ReplyDeleteAmen. Thank you. Please pray for the comfort of my friend Barry and his family who lost dear Rodney. God is their strength and their peace. Rodney is in the better place. May he rest peacefully with the Lord.
DeleteWhat if, just for today I was thankful for everything including basking in the luxury of being fully known, understood and unconditionally loved by God?
ReplyDeleteDear Heavenly Father God,
In Your Eyes I am worthy!
Thank You for loving me. Thank You for being worthy of my love. Thank You for each day's opportunity that always comes with reasons to thank You. Dear Helen --- Thank you for your post, which I savored. You just can't say enough about the Father's love for his children!
DeleteDear Brie --- Another great song. Thank you!
Welcome to the Posting Side of Town, Helen in San Diego! I receive your message and thank God that you shared it. In Jesus ' Name. AMEN!
DeleteThank you so very much for your beautiful prayer, sweet Brie! And I just loved that song too. I thank God for always loving me. Just the way I am!
DeleteAmen dear Helen in San Diego! We are of great value to our loving Father! We are dearly loved sons and daughters of the Most High King. Hallelujah
Love today's message. The Spirit within... how we so often ignore it. Praying prior to any actions, even before speaking, would yield better more thoughtful presentation of our opinions. It is lacking in America and it is why we have so much political vitriol.
ReplyDeletePraying for "think twice before speaking" by seeking the Spirit first, then thinking again about what I am about to say, then speaking. Godspeed, JC friends. Amen.
Oh, yes, Madfox! If only I didn't suffer from that old "open mouth, insert foot, syndrome"! How great it would be if we could "collect our thoughts" before speaking. The world could be a kinder place. Thank you for your prayer. Joining you in it. God bless π.
DeleteYes, thanks MadFox. I don't go often enough to the spirit before speaking. And it is lacking in America. But one person and one day at a time can make a difference. God Bless
DeleteJohn 16:13 "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come."
DeleteAmen Madfox❤️π
DeleteRight on Peter! Thank you ❤️π
DeleteAmΓ©n MadFox! And may God bless, protect and unite all of His people here in the πΊπΈ. Anaira in MD.
DeleteMy Dad and my DH, always told me to, MEASURE TWICE; CUT ONCE! Thanks MadFox, for putting a new twist on it,
DeletePRAY THRICE;
THINK TWICE;
SPEAK ONCE!
I have to read this daily and not judge when others don't.
DeleteEphesians 4:29
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
Thanks MadFox! Just what I needed! May God’s Spirit guard my mouth and supply the right words to say. Busy with my mom now. We may differ on many issues but we both love Jesus!! Always in my prayers!
DeleteJC Warriors, please pray for my husband and me as we seek God’s guidance on what to do about heart surgery. Cleveland Clinic said it’s not urgent, but at some point needs to be done. There are other health issues to consider that are not common and could complicate the outcome of the surgery if the surgeon will not listen to the hematologist .
ReplyDeleteStatistically, the chances of the aneurysm rupturing or an aortic dissection are small. There is a lot more to this, but I ask for prayers that God will give us clear directions and a peace about the decision.
SC Anonymous
Dear SC Anonymous, I am praying for your Walk along His Wondrous Way in collaboration with His Holy Spirit today.
DeleteAnd I am Praying for God's Holy Spirit of Truth, to Lead and Guide you along The Way, for Lord when You Lead, then we cannot stray. Lord help us walk today with Thee. Lead me , O Lord, Lead me! In Jesus' Name. AMEN
Praying that your path be made straight and confidence in the medical team increases. In JESUS' NAME.
DeleteJoining in prayer for you SC. May you be blessed with wisdom, discernment and a clear path that will bring you peace.
DeleteDear SC, Praying with our dear family here that God will guide you to the right decisions, the right timing, and the right doctor, and lead your husband back to good health and comfort! May He cover you both with His peace as you trust in His Spirit’s discernment. You are both covered by His Blood and He stands by His Word. Rest in Him who loves you. Lean on His faithfulness and trust in His promises. Wait on the Lord.
DeleteThank You Father for all this in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen
Praying SC Anonymous - for discernment in these decisions that need to be made. I find, for me, when there is no clear cut, obvious, definitive answer or solution- I am called to lean into my faith even more. Praying with you as we all, in unity, place this ailment and all decisions in the heart of Jesus . ❤️π
ReplyDeletePraying with all of the JC Family, SC Anonymous! May your decisions be calm and confident. Asking for prayers for our oldest son who has an ulcer in his eye from wearing what he thought were extended wear contacts and turned out to be daily (for almost a month!). He almost lost his eye but then it started responding to the medication. Our daughter has her ENT appt today to discuss the results of her thyroid testing. Praying for her calmness.
ReplyDeleteThe 'vitriol' that you mentioned MadFox is starting to calm down in our family. Our daughter admitted that the vehemence in their words is the result of fear. I told her, "Even though this is one of the topics some of you have told me not talk about, when you have God in your life, that fear is diminished. My hub and I have been told to "Never talk to us again about politics or religion." She apologized for that (even though we hadn't said a word!). Giving it all to him and praying that our Thanksgiving visit to our oldest son's house will be a blessing. Praying for all of you, Dear Family...for our friend who had the hunting accident, for all of my cases (yesterday, I found an agency who may be able to help my tornado victim case complete their new home) and for all of the aching hearts I hear from daily. One called rejoicing yesterday because she finally received her $25,000+ back pay. It was a day mixed with joyful news and family squabbles which I had silenced so I could focus on work. Caught up with all of it later in the day and went to bed with a peaceful heart.
As I pray in the spirit for all requests (known and unknown), I do it with confidence knowing He hears our prayers. " Try to depend on the help of the Spirit as you go through this day of life. Pause briefly from time to time so you can consult with this Holy One inside you. He will not force you to do His bidding, but He will guide you as you give Him space in your life. Walk along this wondrous way of collaboration with My Spirit."
God Bless each of you!
p.s. Where is our SassyMom? Prayers for her!
Joining in prayer for healing for your son Norah. I have a follow up eye appointment today for as well and praying that all goes well.
DeleteMy wife has been dreading her days at work since last Wednesday with long time coworkers avoiding and not talking with those who voted differently. Many were close friends. We just keep praying for healing, understanding, compassion and civility. One coworker did apologize the other day, just like your daughter did Norah, so I pray that others will follow and we can be united even if we have different opinions.
Heavenly Father, I come before You today seeking strength and wisdom. May Your Holy Spirit guide my thoughts, words, and actions as I navigate through the day and encounter others who are hurting, fearful, anxious or lost. Help me to embody Your love and grace in all that I do, and keep my heart focused on Your divine presence. May others see you in me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
May the Peace of Christ be with you.
Shalomπ
Dear Norah, Praying that God is already healing your good son’s eye and it will be better than ever and he will have clear vision again, and that God is guiding Joni’s ENT appointment and enlightening her doctor, and leading him to address every problem in her body to return her to perfect health. May you, sweet sister, continue to glorify Him with all your good work on your cases and may God heal your friend who got injured in the hunting accident and make a way for your tornado victim to complete the new home. Father God, we thank You for all this and for answering all our prayers, giving us the right words to say to those who disagree with our political and religious beliefs. We are still One Nation Under God
DeleteYou, above all else. Thank You Father for creating peace in every area of our lives in Jesus’ Name. Amen
