Rest in the deep assurance of My unfailing Love. Let your body, mind, and spirit relax in My Presence. Release into My care anything that is troubling you, so that you can focus your full attention on Me. Be awed by the vast dimensions of My Love for you; wider, longer, higher, and deeper than anything you know. Rejoice that this marvelous Love is yours forever!
The best response to this glorious gift is a life steeped in thankfulness. Every time you thank Me, you acknowledge that I am your Lord and Provider. This is the proper stance for a child of God: receiving with thanksgiving. Bring Me the sacrifice of gratitude, and watch to see how much I bless you.
I Peter 5:7
English Standard Version
casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Ephesians 3:16-19
English Standard Version
16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Psalm 107:21-22
English Standard Version
21 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
for his wondrous works to the children of man!
22 And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy!
for his wondrous works to the children of man!
22 And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy!
Lord I thank you for your steadfast Love. Lord, you do wondrous works in the lives of your children. I offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and praise you in songs of joy. I cast all of my anxieties upon you. You care for me. Thank you for caring for me. Thank you for strengthening me with power through your Spirit. I need Christ to dwell in my heart. I want my life to be rooted, grounded in love. I want to know the love of Christ and be filled with all the fullness of God. Help me to know what this means and be ready for it. Lord, I thank you.

Thank you Lord for blessing my day with a double portion.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lord for your perfect timing of this message. You know what I need and when I need it. As my anxieties mount up, you tell me to cast all my fears on you. Thank you for loving me! Help me to trust everything to You!
ReplyDeleteYes, The lord knows And I will pray for every one of you that the lord will give you peace and many blessings. I love you all
DeleteThank you Troy! God bless YOU!
DeleteAmen! Thank you All for your prayers and steadfastness in praising our Lord and calling on the Holy Spirit for strength in thanking him constantly and loving in Gratitude!❤️π
DeleteYou and I have been chosen by God so that as God pours out His love upon us, it is a witness unto Himself leading any nonbeliever to desire the same in his/her life. In a word, it is evangelism. The first paragraph describes a person who has been chosen. Note the verbs that describe the demeanor of one with faith: rested, relaxed, releasing, awed, and rejoicing leading to thanksgiving which is a testimony to God. I hear believers expressing dismay over the lack of belief in God in our culture. Could part of the problem be that there are a lack of chosen people looking rested, relaxed, releasing, awed, rejoicing and thus thankful in their faith? As attributed to St Francis, “Preach the gospel always, if necessary use words.”
ReplyDeleteWow!! Love the different perspective that the quote gives.
DeleteBob, thank you! I agree 200% with you. If someone has the holy spirit in his heart, it will shine in his face and his actions speak volumes of the spirit that lives inside him. Actions speak much louder than words.
DeleteHave a Happy Thanksgiving.
Brother Bob, love, "preach the gospel always, and if necessary, use words". Amen to that!
DeleteSo good Bob, Holy Spirit fix me, change me, renew me...
DeleteDear Bob! Thank you for reminding me that even without saying one word, we share God's message, love, light, mercy, compassion and the Christ in us! We are bright beacons in this dark fallen world because He fills us to bursting. Our kindness and daily walk may be the only gospel people ever receive! That prayer today was my prayer and it blessed me completely as I prayed it.
DeleteJeanne - AMEN!! We are the only Bible some people will ever see. We must always reflect the beauty of Christ.
DeleteThank you Paytonfamily for the prayer, Amen to all you said.
DeleteThanks BOB for highlighting rested, relaxed, releasing, awed, rejoicing, and thankfullness as a testimony to the Goodness of God.
DeleteI suspect when we do otherwise, we may be giving our testimony to satan?
Welcome Holy Spirit, I want to constantly look at things and behave according to God's perspective. I need your help. Will You help me? I ask. I seek. I knock. I praise. I thank. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Thank you Payton family for such a beautiful prayer - your prayer is my prayer. Amen
DeleteJust heard on the news yesterday how there had been such an increase in anxiety and depression...'...men's hearts failing them for fear...'- as the need for Jesus increases in the world, the pursuit of Him by people diminishes.
ReplyDeleteA group of a church was asked to provide leadership in discerning God’s call for the church into the future. The group decided to go into the streets and ask people not affiliated with the church what they would suggest. The #1 answer they heard was, “Why don’t you be the people you say you are.”
DeleteI have heard from agnostic people, over the years, variations of, "I don't want to be affiliated with a church. They're all full of hypocrites." Lord, help me be the person you want me to be so that Your rested, relaxed, releasing, awed, and rejoicing life shows through me.

DeleteWe may have many reasons to be anxious, fearful, angry, impatient and depressed, but our Joy and peace are from the Lord and they are absolutely unchanging in any situation. I lean on them today and I remain blessed.
DeleteAs do I, Jeanne. All this said, in addition to no words but behavior, we also need to be prepared with words to explain our state of peace. Unfortunately, or not, my words sometimes sound to others like the rhetoric they are wanting to avoid. Is it a viscous cycle? And I'd love to know how do you respond to such questions, and when to stop talking without sounding like preaching.
DeleteBeyond our actions as mentioned, I guess all we can do is plant the seed and God will make it grow. We plant the seeds of grace in love and truth in love. The message being, "Jesus loves you and He took our punishment so we can be with Him forever if we believe He did. He is the way." Thank you, Jesus. Is there anything you would add?

DeleteYes! All that He was, is and will be, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. πΆ Jesus is the only name to remember πΆ✝️
DeleteI went peacefully to sleep feasting on these characteristics of God, Maplewood. I am planning to make them my 10 PM news each night. Thanks.
DeleteAmen and thank you sweet Maplewood! I just saved that to my computer!
DeleteWhat an amazing God we have. Praise His Holy Name forever!
Amen Audra! The Name above every other name is our Unchanging Lord.
Maplewood, thank you, that's wonderful, I'm copy / pasting/ sharing that today. A precious reminder of who my Lord is. Also reminds me of S.M.Lockridge quote:He's my King
DeleteHe is purely powerful
He's impartially merciful
Do you know Him?
That's my King
I wonder do you know Him?
That's my King
He's the King of Israel
That's my King
He's the King of righteousness
That's my King
And He's the Lord of Lords
He's endurably strong
He's entirely sincere
He's eternally steadfast
He's morally graceful
He's purely powerful
He's impartially merciful (I wonder do you know Him?)
Do you know Him?
He's the greatest phenomenon
That has ever crossed the horizon
Of this world
He's God's son
He's the sinners' Savior
He's the centerpiece of civilization
Jesus, that's my King
I wonder do you know Him?
That's my King
He's the King of Israel
That's my King
He's the King of Heaven
That's my King
And He's the Lord of Lords
He's the only one qualified
To be the all sufficient Savior
Jesus (I wonder do you know Him?)
He supplies strength for the weak
He's available for the culprit and the proud
He symphathizes and He saves
He strengthens and sustains
He guards and He guides
He heals the sick (I wonder do you know Him?)
He cleansed the lepers
He forgives sinners
He discharges debtors
Jesus
That's my King
I wonder do you know Him?
That's my King
He's the King of glory
That's my King
He's the King of Kings
That's my King
And He's the Lord of Lords
I wish I could describe Him to you
He's indescribable
He's incomprehensible
He's invincible
He's irresistible
You can't get Him out of your mind
You can't get Him off of your hands
You cannot leave Him
And you can't live without Him
The Pharisees couldn't stand Him
But they found out they couldn't stop Him
They couldn't find any fault in Him
Herod couldn't kill Him
Death couldn't keep Him
And the brave couldn't hold Him
Hey! That's my King, Jesus
That's my King!
Thanks Peter, for the Reminder to watch that S.M.Lockridge video again and Feast on Christ, my King!
DeleteI'll be looking for that video.
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Dear JC Family! May each of you enjoy this day, giving thanks for all He has provided. Maplewood, your list is amazing! MadFox - thankful for your "All Clear" results on your test! I bet that you enjoy your Thanksgiving meal, like never before!
ReplyDeletePraying for each of you and yours and thanking the Lord for all of my family and the fun we will have today.
When my greatest "worries" are the fact that the pre-lit tree lights don't work (we did a test-run last night for tomorrow's decorating) or that I had to cancel my women's bake-off Sat. for my dear BIL's memorial service - I yank myself up and say, "Snap out of it!"
Praying for my SIL and her family as they give thanks today for the life they had with their dear husband, father and grandfather. Knowing the Man of God he was reminds us we will see him again. Let me be light and love to each of them this Saturday.
Let the family photo today be filled with laughter. Let our time around the table be filled with thanksgiving.
'All that I've needed thy hand has provided,' may I remind myself of that throughout the next few days as I give without thought of receiving. I already have received Your mighty blessings. Let me count them.
God Bless each of you - enjoy this blessed day and know that you are in my prayers. I know I'm in yours and I thank you!
Yes, no guilt on an extra helping of Turkey and the fixin's this year! Thankful for the results and the prayers by you and all here. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Much to be grateful for in the USA despite the political climate today. God Bless the USA! Peace.
DeleteAmen to that! We complain about the state of the world, we get anxious about the uncertainty of our future but we still Rest in God's love because we know He has provided for us and protected us through this pandemic, election and all the turmoil and craziness. We are blessed, taken care of, and loved with an everlasting love. It doesn't get any better, and many of us have leftover turkey in the fridge. And pie!!!
DeleteGod's got a plan, in his timing not ours. Gotta believe he still blesses the USA.
DeleteOH! And I have forgotten to tell all of you...
ReplyDeleteMy dear Sister in Christ (with the mass on her ovary), received a call from the Dr. The last test came in and she is confident that it isn't malignant. Surgery is scheduled for 1/23/20. Outpatient! Please continue to keep her in your prayers, Prayer Warriers!

DeleteTHE GRAY DOT POP QUIZ
ReplyDeleteA teacher entered the classroom one day and asked her students to prepare for a surprise test. They all waited anxiously at their desks for the test to begin. The teacher handed out the tests face-down, as usual. Once she handed them all out, she asked the students to turn over the papers. To everyone’s surprise, there were no questions – just a gray dot in the center of a plain sheet of paper. The teacher, seeing the expression on everyone’s faces, told them the following:
“I want you to write about what you see there.” The students, confused, got started on the inexplicable task. At the end of the class, the teacher took all the tests, and started reading each one of them out loud, in front of all the students. All of them defined only the gray dot, trying to explain its position in the center of the sheet, it's color, it's size, what it meant to them, etc. After all had been read, the classroom got silent, when the teacher started to explain:
“I’m not going to grade you on this, I just wanted to give you something to think about.
Everyday we get a brand new sheet of paper from God, a blank canvas, to observe and enjoy. Our life is a gift from Him, and we always have reasons to celebrate – nature renewing itself daily, friends around us, the job that provides our livelihood, eyes that see, ears that hear, homes, clothes, food, etc. The gray dots of me, myself, I, flaws, limitations, etc., are very small when compared to everything else we have surrounding it in our lives, like God, His Light, His Love, His Peace, His Grace, Our Faith Potential, a New Clean Sheet everyday, etc.
When we take our eyes away from the troubling gray dots in life, then we can rest, relax, rejoice, thank and enjoy each one of our blessings in the surrounding space and in every moment that life gives us.
✝️ FROM JC NOV 26: To protect our thankfulness, we must remember that blessings and (gray dots of) sorrows intermingle freely. A constant focus on (gray dots of) adversity defeats us and many Christians, causing us to walk through a day that is brimming with beauty and brightness all around the gray cloud, yet focusing our thoughts only on the grayness. When walking through what appears to be the darkest (grayest dots of) days, remember to thank Me at all times with Joy in your hearts knowing that the Light of My Presence is still shining on you. Rejoice in this day that I have made, for I am your steadfast Companion, Yesterday, Today, and Forever!
π Day 28: I am grateful for all of God's Goodness in my life that surrounds, covers up, minimizes or erases my gray dot.
πDear Heavenly Father God, would You help us focus more on the Goodness of God? Including when times are hard? Including when the gray dot looks large?
I ask. I seek. I knock. I praise. I thank. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Wow amen ! Thank you Brie for sharing this grey dot story with us. Great reminder to focus on His light. There are so much more light, hope and love than dark grey dots in life, all we have to do is to look up and see with the eyes of faith.
Delete"For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus." Eph 2:6
Hallelujah! Thank you Lord you're so good. Let's sing of the Goodness of God!
Blessings from France
Such great entry, Brie. Perspective of what our focus should be on each day is so important. It's so easy to see our gray dots as bigger than they actually are when we are only focused on them. Thank you for this awesome reminder! Loving Father, thank you for loving and caring for us at all times. May we remember the whole sheet of paper where You are versus our gray spots! So grateful for this JC Family. May we feel God's loving presence & blessings no matter what our situation is!
DeleteWonderful post dear Brie! He is so much greater than any gray dots and He can help us handle them so well. Trusting Him to do just that. Let our eyes stay on the Lord and He is enough and He is all we need.
DeleteAmen dear BFF. He is so good. Singing with you of the Goodness of God.
So true dear NJS. We are held tightly in God's warm and loving embrace and we are blessed no matter what bumps we face along our journey. He is preparing for us and He will steer us in the right direction. Trusting in His faithfulness now more than ever.
Most Gracious Loving Father, Thank You for Your endless blessings, for giving me the awareness to distinguish day from night and light from darkness. You’ve given me energy when I am weary. You’ve enable me to stand tall and move with grace. Thank You for Your unconditional, undying, never-failing, endless love that graces me each day. That love came down and saved me on the cross, in the form of flesh, and for that Father, I am eternally grateful. Thank You for granting reward to all who trust in You. In Jesus’ name.
ReplyDeleteGive thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son
Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son
And now let the weak say, "I am strong"
Let the poor say, "I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us."
"I will give to the Lord the thanks due to His righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High." Psalm 7:17.
Blessings and Peace.

DeleteBOB, Are you OK?
ReplyDeleteI too was wondering about Bob. Praying he is okay
DeleteBlessings from France
I'm praying for Bob, too. And I thank you Brie for that 'dot' story. My gray dot tried its hardest to take over the whole page and I just decided, FORGET IT!! So many other bright, wonderful things to focus on. I'm doing as I told my children all their lives when they were funky, "Change your mind!" This 'ol goose is telling herself the same. Love to and prayers for all of you....
ReplyDeleteSo true Norah. I've been in my kitchen all day cooking so we will have dinners in case I need to rest after my procedure. My son's family are coming over for lasagna tomorrow. I just finished it, but I got upset because while I was making the lasagna, I burned my husband's roasted potatoes which I had worked hard on. He heard me getting upset and then he got upset at me. That dot was getting big but I stopped it! I prayed and decided to do something better than get upset. I'm bringing food to someone who needs it and it will get me out of the house and I will renew my mind and spirit. I can pray while I walk. Dear Norah, You got that right! "Change your mind". Renew it and start glorifying God with your words and actions. No grumbling. I made the potatoes all over again and they came out fine. I'm so blessed and thankful to have all of you here who understand me. Much love.
DeleteOh Jeanne, it's been a struggle all afternoon! I do understand but I'm so proud of you for just making the potatoes over again! What a trooper!! I went to Goodwill and two stores - I figured I'd HAVE to be nice if I was out and about. This funk will pass - I know it will. Have 3 of the Grands over here with one of our sons. All I really want to do is go to bed. BUT...I will change my mind - AGAIN. Praying for your procedure next week. Claiming the VICTORY!
DeleteToday was gray and rainy. A huge gray dot seemed to cover everything. I remembered the gray dot story and said, God all clouds over this day are just a gray dot on your clean sheet of paper. I started thinking about the sun shining somewhere beyond the gray clouds, and the blue Caribbean waters beyond the murky gray ones I was crossing. I brought two complete homecooked meals, (Read: Thanksgiving overage) including home baked desserts to single people who ate sandwiches on Thanksgiving Day. They were so happy. They called to let me know how much they loved Thanksgiving Saturday. What to my wandering eyes did appear? The gray dot had disappeared. Thank You Jesus.
DeleteGlad you got a do-over on the potatoes, Jeanne, just like the do-overs we get every morning with the brand new sheet of clean paper! Blessings JC Family!
Giving always gets rid of the grayness, right Brie? It did for me today with my Grands, blessing my Hub with some carry in food (honestly, it was a stretch for me to even order it...I just wanted SOMEONE ELSE TO PLAN THE MEAL!) - but this was the next best thing and just watching those Littles enjoy each other.
DeleteSo tired that I think I'll go to bed even though it is early for me. Tentative plans for a brunch with Son#4 and his wife and boys. She is one of the easiest to be with, meaning if it works, it works. I am a planner, but honestly asked for a "Maybe." Hoping I wake up refreshed and renewed, shaking this flatness that has hung over me today. Picturing that dot and how tiny it is in comparison to that whole, pure page! ZZZzzzz.....praying for sweet sleep for all of my JC Fam!
Amen dear Sisters! Norah get some rest! Then you can run after those grands. My favorite store is the thrift shop. Yes giving makes you happy and God happy.
DeleteBrie, So glad the clouds dispersed after your good deed. God is so good. He crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies as we share them. It is so true He wipes away the clouds when we give to others. Even a phone call to see how they are will bring the sun out in our hearts. Love you both!
Amen!
ReplyDeletePraying Bob is fine and just busy.
ReplyDeleteFather, We pray together for our dear brother Bob. Thank you for protecting him and healing his weaknesses, and give him rest if he's weary. God bless him in all things. Thank you for this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen!
DeleteAnd God, please let BOB know he wasn't finished adventing us yet, and tomorrow is the first Sunday of Advent.
DeleteI hope he has not gone AWOL. Madfox, you got the engines ready?
Amen! We need you Bob!
DeleteMay God bless everyone in our Family and provide their needs and lift their spirits and heal their infirmities and give them strength and peace and joy in their days. Thank You Father for this and for every little gift and spot of light you drop in our paths today. Keep us safe, and warm and comfortable, remove our pain and keep us in Your Presence. Thank You for all this in the Name of Christ Jesus, our Risen Lord.
ReplyDeleteJoining in prayer with you Jeanne. May our Father's love and peace comfort and restore all our needs and desires of our hearts. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
DeleteTerry, How are you and your dear family doing? Continuing to pray you and Noah are getting stronger. My friend Lori has Covid. Please pray for her recovery. Thank you. Praying for dear Janet, Brie and her DH Larry, Keith, Ellen, Free as Can be's son, Daughter of a King's son, Butterfly love's hubby's friend, Audra, Kyle, MadFox, and all those I have forgotten so I pray God who knows everything will will heal, guide, bless and comfort all those good JC Family members and their loved ones in need of His faithfulness. DeleteThank you all for prayers. Hubby has turned the Covid corner in recovery. Praise the Lord! And my positive test has manifested in perhaps the mildest case ever. I'm still moving in slo mo with a few aches but 24 hours of a bouncing fever has settled in to normal this morning after 12 hours of sleep. Praise God!

DeleteThanking God dear Audra that your Hubby is starting to recover from Covid. Praying that you will be fine and back to normal very soon. Thanks for all the prayers for Lori. Love you all!
DeleteThanks for the peace and prayers dear Janet and Brie! I've been cooking since I got home from Church for my son's family. I'm taking it easy now and resting in His sweet Peace and Love. Have a joyful day in His presence no matter what the circumstances.
But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8). So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. (1 John 4:16). Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, "For Your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:35-39). I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Galatians 2:20). See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. (1 John 3:1). Because Your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise You. (Psalm 63:3).
ReplyDeleteHeavenly, loving Father, thank You for Your mercy, grace, and love. Thank You that every day is a new day with grace and mercies new and Your love always enduring and faithful. I praise You Lord always. You are my eternal salvation. Yesterday was not a good day for me. I thought "this just isn't my day" because everything just kept going wrong no matter what. Forgive me for my actions and words, as I spoke and thought things that I shouldn't have out of my frustration and feeling overwhelmed and in so much pain. There is no excuse for my actions or thoughts or words. I am sorry. I feel like I let You down and was not pleasing in Your sight. I know that I let my focus be taken away from You and I shouldn't have let anything take my eyes off of You Lord. I cannot do anything apart from You. I've been feeling like satan has been trying to bring me down and pull me away from You and I need to be more on guard than ever. Please help me Lord. I can't do it alone. You are my strength and my refuge. I run to You for safety and I rebuke satan in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Please remove any and all wickedness that is within me and replace it with Your goodness and glory Lord. Cleanse my heart and mind Lord. Let Your Spirit rule me. You are my saving grace and my eternal salvation. You and You alone! You are the most high and there is no one above You. No one can ever take Your place. Thank You Jesus. Reveal to me what I need to know and show me the path that You have prepared for me. I don't know what to do. I need Your guidance in my life. Show me the way Lord. Help me to follow Your lead and not my own fleshly thoughts and ways. Help me to walk in Your Spirit and not in my flesh. I know that I'm not perfect and I make mistakes and bad/wrong choices, but You love me unconditionally and I am so grateful for that. Your ways are so much higher than mine and I cannot even begin to understand them, but I will trust in You Lord. Please guide me in the right direction in my life. Thank You for all my benefits and blessings Lord. I love and adore You. You are so wonderful! In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
ReplyDeleteDear Janet, what I've gleaned from your post describing your pain & anguish, needs and desire is an example of a child of God running the race set before us. From the "ready set go!" To whenever the flag waves you to the finish, you are persevering regardless of the obstacles. You never claim that it's from your strength, quite the opposite, you share with us your full dependency on the power of the cross. We have been blessed by your exultation of the Lord by sharing not only your ordeal but the scriptures to admonish & encourage each of us. For myself, I have been feeding on each scripture you have posted. How you do it with all the pain that would've been consuming anyone else, I can only say, the grace of God has consumed you! I don't claim to understand what any of us go through. His reasons we do not question. Our only posture is to thank Him and praise Him. I see that from your post. So in essence dear Sister, you are actually OKAY! Continue to walk out your faith with the physical part, by knowing by His stripes you are healed! We warriors are on itπ! We love youπ
ReplyDeleteI am gathering in to Jan's prayer for you, our dear sister friend in Christ, Janet. May we all experience God in our midst. I ask. I seek. I knock. I pray. I thank. In Jesus' Name. Amen. πYes! We love youπ
DeleteJoining Jan and Brie, Janet, you continue to keep God on the throne versus replacing Him with your circumstances. Impressive to say the least and quite a testament to your faith. I will continue to join our JC family in praying for you, sweet sister. So sorry your pain has continued but admire your tenacity, faith, & strength. (While I've mentioned some yin-yoga stretches to you in previous posts, thinking you may not have seen it since they were later in the day entries. Shoot me an email IF you'd like them. njschreibs@gmail.com NO pressure though.)
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you, JC Family. Praying for each of you and thanking you for your prayers for me and my family. Thank you for reminding me that "The best response to this glorious gift is a life steeped in thankfulness." Praying that we all continue to count our blessings. All of you and the needs you've posted are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteAmen sweet Norah! Gratitude and praise to the Giver of countless blessings. Bless His Holy Name and forget not His amazing Benefits.

ReplyDeleteI know God is on the night watch. Please pray for my sister who is getting knee injections today. I’ll be taking her at 1:30. Also please pray for my friend Mary’s daughter Elizabeth who has a 10 inch cyst in her stomach. They are waiting for confirmation from her insurance company and for a call from her surgeon. Father God, we ask You to guide the doctor and to heal Elizabeth and get her all the authorization she needs to have this procedure and that You guide it completely and may the cyst be benign. Thank You for this and for Elizabeth and Janet’s healing in Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen
Joining in prayers with you Jeanne for Janet and Elizabeth. May our heavenly Father place His healing hands upon them and pour His mighty power into their bodies. May He guide and direct all things to accomplish the best outcomes for all situations. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen π. Peace be with you.
DeletePraying for your friend and her daughter Jeanne. I hope all goes well.

DeleteJoining in prayers for Janet & Elizabeth. You are the Lord of details, the outcomes, guidance, protection. We warriors claim all these things for our dear sister's in Jesus'name. AMEN! ππππ
Deleteπ.π.π.
DeleteThank you dear family! Your powerful prayers are already working because God heard every one of them. Janet's injections went so well today and the doctor said her knees looked very good. He was very pleased. My friend said some of her husband's family are doctors and they will look at her daughter, Elizabeth's CT Scan. Her surgeon was supposed to call her but has not. God's Spirit is moving in the right direction. Thank God! Thank You Jesus!
DeleteHow priceless is Your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. (Psalm 36:7). The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you,but will rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17).
ReplyDeleteAmen
DeleteAMEN dear Janet. Thank you for sharing the word. πππ
DeleteAmen dear Janet! Taking refuge in the Shadow of His Wings.
DeleteToday among many other things I'm thanking God for Godly Christian parents. Both left Earth for Heaven some years ago. Both held tightly to Him throughout their lives in good times and hard times. Both were wonderful examples to me right up to the last, Dad passed at 92 Mom passed at 97, they had just celebrated their 70 Wedding anniversary the day before Dad went to Glory, be believe he held on for that. Their cemetery plot is quite a distance away, but my wife and I need to do some maintenance there today. Thank You Lord for the blessing of Godly parents, I got to know You through them.
ReplyDeleteAmen! Godly parents are so important. Blessings to you and your family today.
DeleteSC Anonymous
Peter, I am grateful that your parents set a good and Godly example for you growing up and throughout your life. If we had more of that, we would have a lot less chaos in the world. Blessings on your cemetery visit.
DeleteTJ
Godly parents are such a wonderful blessing. You are blessed.
DeleteBlessings to you Peter and your family π
DeleteYou are blessed to have two Godly Parents. They instilled the love of God in your beautiful heart and their love continued right into eternity. You'll be with them again and your joy will be full! Enjoy the process of beautifying their plot. God bless you always, and may they rest in His perfect peace.
DeleteThe LORD appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued My faithfulness to you. (Jeremiah 31:3). O LORD, You are my God; I will exalt You; I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure. (Isaiah 25:1).
ReplyDeleteAmen! Praise and Gratitude to our Faithful God.
DeleteGood Morning Blessings to each of you, JC Family. Jeanne, I am praying for Janet's appt and for Elizabeth's path being opened for treatment and that all goes well. Peter, I loved your post on Godly Parents - what a blessing to read of their long lives and shining example. Let us be that for our children, Father. I also loved reading Bob's post regarding our walk with God and the example it is. Too often I use words more than a quiet example! So, as I've prayed before, Father, grow my ears and shrink my mouth - let me be Your Light! My JMS was on my mind, early on. Praying that she had great sleep and continues to heal.
ReplyDeleteLove and Blessings to each of you on this, the day the Lord has made!
Praying total healing in the name of Jesus for our JMS and all our JC Family and their dear ones. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
DeletePraying for your dear Joni Marie. And for your peace of mind dear Norah. Thank you for your prayers. Janet's injections went well and God is guiding other doctors to help Elizabeth until she hears from her surgeon.
DeleteMiss our Bob and miss our MadFox and so many other dear ones. Hope and pray all is going well. Get some good rest now. Much love.
Good morning JC family. Haven't been able to post. At times it will publish & then not. We are heading home this Wednesday. It's been an eventful trip to say the least! Hubby got to go to ER for suspected stroke. Spent 2 days in ICU. 2 cat scan & an MRI revealed nothing. Ultra sound for stenosis revealed nothing. A spasm on his right side started the whole thing. As protocol he was given the clotbuster which causes hemorrhaging, hence the stay at ICU. He's been released just in time to celebrate granddaughter Ava's birthday. Please pray for the healing of his right side & no side effects of all the drugs he's been prescribed temporarily. Much love to all of you & blessings overflowing πππ
ReplyDeleteOh our dear Jan, I missed you. Seems this entire past week was filled with trips to the ER and the Waiting Room!
DeleteHealing Prayers for hub and traveling mercy prayers
for both of you are going up.
Praying Happy blessed b'earthday prayers for our AVA.
Much Love, Brie
Praying for your hubby and you, Dear Jan!
DeleteDear Brie, You know I am holding all of you tight in my prayers. Get some rest yourself dear sister. Trust in the Lord and lean not unto your own understanding. I'm doing the same thing.
DeleteHow crazy that ER visits were on the agenda for so many of our blog people and their families.
DeleteJJ bring on the prayer as you do so well to demand the evil hold on our collective bodies and minds her dismissed! In Jesus's name we praise, no room for satan here!!!
It is challenging for me to activate today's devotion: to rest in the deep assurance of God's unfailing Love. I am praying to let my body, mind, and spirit relax in God's Presence, releasing into His care everything that is troubling, so that my full attention is focused on Him.
ReplyDeleteDear Heavenly Father God,
Teach me to be patient, teach me to go slow,
Teach me how to wait on You for the way I am to go.
Teach me sweet forbearance until things go alright
Help me remain calm and peaceful until I see Your Light.
Teach me peace and quiet and how to calm my racing, rising heart
So I might hear the answer You are trying to impart.
Teach me to let go to You, dear God, and pray hopefully until
My heart is filled with Your Inner Peace and,
I know and do your will!
In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Blessings going out to my entire family of JC Prayer Warriors who are also (im)patiently waiting in God's Patient Waiting room, knowing He is worth the wait. Thank You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Thanks for filling my heart with peace sweet Brie. Just what I needed. Waiting in God's Patient Waiting Room with you and trusting always in His faithfulness.

THE GRAY DOT POP QUIZ
And now I'm walking through what appears to be the darkest (grayest dots of) days, remembering to thank God at all times with Joy in my heart knowing that the Light of His Presence is still shining on me, in spite of what my eyes may see, or may not see!
Time for me to Rejoice in this day that He has made, along with my steadfast Companion, Yesterday, Today, and Forever! In Jesus' Name.
π Day 28: I am grateful for all of God's Goodness in my life that surrounds, covers up, minimizes or erases my gray dot.
Love the gray dot story. Praying for you all daily.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you Susanne R. Always Praying for and with you, and I'm still praying for Dean as I stay connected to The Vine.
DeleteAlways in my prayers too dear Suzanne. Thanks for all your prayers. <3
DeleteListens by Sarah Young, so I bought the book and posted it on my blog. I find it easier to read on the web and have the bible verse written.
ReplyDeleteSo far, I love Jesus Listens as well.

Jesus Listens is new to me, thanks for sharing.
DeleteHi friends,
ReplyDeleteI apologize. Somehow my last comment was not posted with a complete sentence. I just want to say thank you to Payton family for blessing us with this. I was hoping that they would post Jesus Listens by Sarah Young as well. I could not find a blogger that posted it, so I decided to buy the book, and write the prayers on my blog with the verses written on it. I think it will help people in their morning devotion. It certainly help me.
Dear Joe, Happy you are receiving the inspiration and encouragement you need from the Word of God and Sarah Young's inspired heart.
ReplyDeleteSweet Jesus bring comfort and healing to all of us here praying together in your holy name!
ReplyDeleteMay all find rest and comfort in His unfailing love, His promises, His presence, His grace and mercy, knowing that he is a God who can do abundantly more than we can ask or hope for as we trust in His will and divine providence.
Shalomπ
Amen! He can do ALL things and I am trusting Him to lead us forward and heal our weaknesses and those of our loved ones. Thank You Father for this in Jesus' Name. Amen
ReplyDeleteJesus Calling today reflects scripture with the word gratitude... a step above and beyond thankfulness this way: "This is the proper stance for a child of God: receiving with thanksgiving. Bring Me the sacrifice of gratitude, and watch to see how much I bless you."
ReplyDeleteWith each year of remission and frankly, just getting older, I have come to appreciate these thoughts on God's mercy as he strengthens my thankfulness and gratitude. There will come times in the years ahead that not only my remission wanes but valleys for my family or friends will occur. We, as His children, must share His love as He does so directly. In this way we are living up to the vision of God for our lives. One of JC's scripture today is: "Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!" Psalm 107:21 (ESV).
Embrace gratitude in His LOVE. Godspeed. AMEN.
Amen!
DeleteGratitude. Where thankfulness is an emotion, gratitude is an attitude of appreciation under any circumstance. Gratitude involves being thankful, but it is more than that. Gratitude means expressing thankfulness and being appreciative of life daily even when nothing exciting happens.
DeleteThanks MadFox & Suzanne! I never thought of it that way! Beautifully explained! ππΌπ₯°π€
DeleteThanks for these blessed posts as reminders of why to stay in gratitude.
DeleteDear MadFox, How your post lifted me today! I saw an old Jam buddy last night who always asks me how I am since I was diagnosed with lymphoma. I answered: Just fine, thank God! He said he was so happy to hear that! Then he confided in me that he had a very large tumor removed from his back recently and he will be receiving treatment for many weeks because it had spread to his lymph nodes. I told him I would pray for him. I told him to read God's Word because Jesus healed me because I prayed for myself and His Word covered me. Thanks for your prayers. Dear MadFox, We always pray for each other and I know we serve a faithful God. He strengthens us and even in the valley times, we feel His strong Hand in ours. Rob needs our prayers. I claim his victory in Jesus' Name.
