I am taking care of you. Feel the warmth and security of being enveloped in My loving Presence. Every detail of your life is under My control. Moreover, everything fits into a pattern for good, to those who love Me and are called according to My design and purpose.Romans 8:28
Because the world is in an abnormal, fallen condition, people tend to think that chance governs the universe. Events may seem to occur randomly, with little or no meaning. People who view the world this way have overlooked one basic fact: the limitations of human understanding. What you know of the world you inhabit is only the tip of the iceberg. Submerged beneath the surface of the visible world are mysteries too vast for you to comprehend. If you could only see how close I am to you and constantly I work on your behalf, you would never again doubt that I am wonderfully caring for you. This is why you must live by faith, not by sight; trusting in My mysterious, majestic Presence.
Amplified Version
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.
Job 42:1-3
English Standard Version
1 Then Job answered the Lord and said:
2 “I know that you can do all things,
and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
3 ‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
3 ‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
I Peter 5:7
English Standard Version
casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
2 Corinthians 5:7
English Standard Version
for we walk by faith, not by sight.
My Prayer
Lord, thank you for caring for me. Thank you for working out my life in order that you can be glorified. Help me to believe in you every step of the way. I pray that I would live by faith, not by sight and you would teach our city, state, country, world to live in the same manner, turning their lives over to you and resting in your providence. Thank you for governing our universe. You can do all things God. No purpose of yours can be thwarted. Keep reveling truth. You care for me so you can handle all of me.

2 Corinthians 5:7 We walk by faith not by sight has seen me through dark times. It goes perfectly with Psalm 119:105 thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these scriptures! There great to remember and reflect on when I think of this reading!
DeleteThank you LORD, for the blessed assurance that you are eternally caring for me. Thank you Payton Family for your comforting prayer and (new to me) Amplified Version of Romans 8:28.
DeleteJesus,Jesus,Jesus I am so grateful for your love. Pleasr help me with the stress of my days. I want to bear my cross like you with pure love and kindness always. Thank you. Please bless the heart and spirit of all our world leaders.Amen, I love you.
ReplyDeleteGod help me to not lose faith but I'm lost it's so hard when life just keeps getting worse.
ReplyDeletePraying for you
DeleteI pray that you will be strong in the Lord. Ephesians 6:10.
Deleteπππ
DeletePraying for you unknown. I can relate to getting worse. You try and try to stay positive and pray but sometimes it just takes so long. The world is imperfect but one day all pain will vanish. Try to have faith of a mustard seed. Grasp onto it. Let God hold you .Read His word. He is our counselor. Flee devil. We renounce you. Sending you peace that passes understanding. In His name...
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for you too, "Unknown."
ReplyDeleteHang in there "Unknown". He is the manna in your wilderness, open your mouth and taste His goodness. He is giving you "hinds feet" for the high places of trouble, everlasting arms to uphold you. The fact that you posted today speaks of you faith in what He is working out in you.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to you unknown. There have been many times in my life where the process engulfed me with trying circumstances and relationships. But just know there is the other side and this too shall pass. ALL things are working for your good and someday you can look back on these times and see the big picture of God’s plan through them. You will be a better and stronger person for them refined by the fire. May God bless you with strength and hope. In Jesus Name Amen ❤️
ReplyDeleteAmen thanks for the encouragement Sharon
DeletePraying for my JC Family. Giving all of my cares to Him who cares for me. Happy Birthday to my 2nd born in another half hour. It was the happiest Christmas of my life. All gifts bought and wrapped, house decorated and clean top to bottom, why? Because we'd welcome our son on 12/12. The only one born on his due date! I remember the joy, the simplicity. I also remember having to go to the Dentist b/c of a bad tooth. HA HA - had it removed! and on went our happy lies. No sweat, no turmoil - just thankfulness. I claim that same thankfulness on this day, that simplicity and joy. I thank you, God for your son, Jesus Christ and all He did for us. I know you 'work on' my behalf, and I thank you, Jesus. Prayers to m JC Family, near and far. You are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteNorah - Joining the birthday celebration for your 2nd born. Be blessed with abundant happiness.

DeleteHappy birthday to your son, Norah! Why am I not surprised that everything was in perfect order in your home for the holidays to welcome your son on his due date? π
DeleteBlessings and rest to you today, dear sister! ♥️
Yes indeed, you are so close to me, taking care of me, meeting my every need. You have given me and my household joy again this morning by counting us amongst the living! Thank You Father.
ReplyDeleteI walk by faith and not by sight, trusting in Your divine provisions for my life.
This song came to mind while reading today's devotion:
What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Oh, how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
Oh, how bright the path grows from day to day,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms?
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms!
Jan, Sassy Mom, Norah, KS, CO, JJ, Suzanne R, Susan, Keith, Dave, MadFox, Loveconquersall (for little Jairo) and ALL other JC family requesting prayers, know that you are covered, and have nothing to fear, like the song says, just "lean on the everlasting arms"! Dear Prayer Warriors ... Please join me and my 2 daughters in prayer for God's will in a real estate negotiation concerning an opportunity to lease, sell or donate property to State of Tennessee. It is 9:45 AM my time. The negotiating meeting with officials is at 11:00 AM. Thank you for praying God's will.
ReplyDeleteSassy Mom--- I lift you and your two daughters to The Throne of Grace concerning this real estate negotiation. I ask for the Lord's Wisdom, Grace and favor over this situation. I thank You Lord for Your intervention and I thank you in advance for All You are doing. We know You are working in ways we cannot see to bring release and financial blessings into this situation. I give You Praise an Glory and believe You will be exalted through it all. In Jesus' Name AMEN and AMEN
DeletePraying that everything works out for you and your daughters. Jesus we trust in you.
DeleteLifting up you and your daughters right now, Sassy Mom. God is good! His perfect will be done! :)
DeleteToday's readings are for me and little Jairo. The doctor said we have to wait and see if his breathing worsened to take Jairo to ER. Doc prayed with my daughter. Anxiety wanted to set in for Magdalena and I. Praise God almighty he seems better today. Yes, Lord, we know you care for us! We can feel your warmth and security envelop us in your loving presence. When we are weak, we are strong in you. Thank you so very much for my JC prayer Warriors. Que Dios te bendiga mucho mas. May God bless you more.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your prayers for me & my son Marcus. The past few days have been filled with lots of prayers. On Tuesday night I asked Marcus to go with me to mid-week service at Legacy East Side Campus. At first he was like I don't know if my anxiety will allow me to sit through it. I picked him up after basketball practice and he said okay Mom I will go. During worship the prayer team went up so I asked him if he wanted to go up for prayer. He says I'm okay mom. I've been going up for prayer almost every service except at that time. Pastor talked about the Holy Spirit and continues to give me hope. Service ends and the prayer team goes up again. I asked Marcus are you sure you don't want to go up. It took some convincing and he said okay but go with me. So we went together and let this cute older woman know our situation with both our anxiety issues and the loss of someone we cared about walking out of our lives. She anointed us and prayed with us for peace and victory and for the anxiety to be gone and our hearts to heal from our loss of a friend. She also prayed for our friend. She asked Marcus to read Psalms 27. As we were walking out Marcus was approached by another Prayer team member and he asked him if he was involved in sports. Come to find out he trains kids in sports and played basketball for Air Force. He offered Marcus a spot once high school basketball is over. He also says you have siblings right. It's nice to know that others notice our presence on Saturday nights at Legacy Eastside Campus. We attend on Saturdays as a family. It used to be 5 of us but now we are down to 4. We still miss our friend a lot but hope that in time it will go away. Thanks again for all your prayers.
ReplyDeleteEmily- this is great news. Baby steps, right? You continue to be in all of our prayers.
DeleteAs I read the devotion today, I felt a sense of peace. "I am taking care of you," "mysteries too vast to comprehend" and "Live by faith" each stuck out to me as things I know and things I am glad to be reminded of. When asked in counseling who do I have to go to, I responded with "well, I have a very strong faith." I have encountered enough hurt that I must believe I can't do it on my own. I'm ashamed that, at times, I act as if I can. Thank you, Jesus, for everything! Without You, I am nothing.
ReplyDeleteNorah- happy birthday blessings to your son. Maplewood- thank you for the prayers. Thank you also for your continual uplifting posts! They lift me up. Sassy Mom- lifting you and your daughters up in prayer regarding the negotiations. Loveconquersall- praise be to God Almighty that Jairo is doing a bit better. Emily- continuing to keep you and your sons in my prayers as you navigate your way through these new, difficult times. Praying for healing for all!
Thank you Chris, Payton Family, JJ, Suzanne, Sassy Mom, Maplewood, Keith, Loveconquersall, Norah and any I may not have mentioned who have said special prayers for me and my situation. I have been feeling God's presence getting me through each day! Help me to continue to trust in You, dear God! CO
Oh my, did He ever take care of me today! I've dealt with such an angry guy since last Friday and today, right before I sent him an email, I said, "Father, go before me. Jesus, I know you are with me." I sat amazed as this bitter, angry man replied, "Thank you, for all you've done. At least I have an answer." He then emailed 2 more times, thanking me and on the last one said, "Merry Christmas!" AMAZING!!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your prayers. Getting ready to have dinner with our beloved 2nd. Thank you for the Birthday Wishes!
So blessed - so thankful and wondering why I'm so surprised...maybe I'll learn to EXPECT these miracles. :) Continued prayers for little Jairo, your strength, dear Grandmother Loveconquersall and for you Sassy Mom, JJ, Jan, Emily, Maplewood. I have to quit trying to list you all by name b/c I'm sure I'm forgetting a loved one who prays with and for all of this dear JC Family.
I'm OFF WORK until MONDAY!! One more full week and then I'm off until 2020, other than New Years Eve when I'll cover an office from 10-2. Piece of cake. HA HA.
Let's celebrate the coming of our Savior!
Good for you Norah for having a break- you deserve it. And praise God for miracles that happen all around us. Happy birthday to your son!
DeletePrayers for peace going out to all of you tonight. Sorry I'm just now getting on this site- work was back to back crazy today as we are closing a house tomorrow. Please know you all have been in my thoughts all day. Peace, love and a restful night is my hope for you all tonight.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read today's devotion, I am taking care of you. Feel the warmth and security of being enveloped in My loving Presence. Every detail of your life is under My control. I think of my younger grandbaby, Isabella who is turning 21 today. Isabella is a sweet gentle loving and positive spirit who cares deeply for others. She was born with a bilateral cleft palate and has had numerous surgeries since birth. She remains positive, including the year we all ate soup for Christmas because that was all she could tolerate due to yet another surgery. She relates to any child going through the same long and arduous process to the extent that she dedicated her high school years to raising funds for their surgeries. She could have looked down on her situation, instead, she chose to look up. We are so so thankful to have her inspiration in our lives and pray her a blessed birthday and many more! May the dear Lord continually bless our Isabella! Thank you warriors for your continued prayers for all God's Children. We are ONE!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you Brie π.

DeleteWhat a reassurance...for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God! An update on my daughters....Kaarin who had the hysterectomy has healed amazing well, and resumed her teaching. Please pray for her hormonal balance to regulate so she won’t be bothered with hot flashes at her young age. My oldest daughter is taking maintenance chemo, which is much easier to tolerate than the heavy duty chemo. Please pray that this continues to cause shrinkage in cancer spots and that she can and will be cancer FREE! To God be the glory! Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteHallelujah! Praying now for your daughters dear Ellen. They're covered by the precious blood of the perfect lamb. His healing power is filling them and their strength is renewed. Thank you Jesus, we believe and trust in you alone.

DeleteMost Gracious Father, Thank you for causing me to hear Your loving kindness this morning and intervening in my life, allowing me to have a personal relationship with you. Thank You for taking care of me and loving me today and forever. Thank You for the blessings You’ve given me and my family. May we use those blessings to bless others. Please ensure our safety as my mom and I head out this morning to board a plane. As we set off on this journey, thank You for being our protector and deliverer and for having a hedge of protection over and around us, keeping us safe from every danger and obstacles so that we can reach to our destination in peace and security. May Your Army of Angels go before us and clear out the airways and make every crooked path straight. ReplyDeleteAnd renew a right spirit within me!
I'm feeling blue, deprived in covid times of things, activities and people that help me feel joy, especially around the holidays. Yet I know God is with me and all will be well. I also know that gratitude and scripture are the ladder out of depression as I muster up the energy to take one rung at a time. I pray for us all to know the healing power and restoration that faith brings as tears of sadness yield back to tears of joy. Blessings to all who read here, in Jesus name, Amen!
Thanks for sharing on behalf of legions of us, our Audra! Praying you through the blue.
DeleteRepraying the prayer I prayed this morning:
Dear Heavenly Father God,
Even when we cannot feel the warmth and security of being enveloped in Your loving Presence, Would You help us go beyond how we feel, and move us into believing You before evidence, and putting Faith in You before sight?
I ask. I seek. I knock. I praise. I thank. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Love You, Audra, and our entire JC Prayer Warrior Family and this safe space, as Fern calls it, Payton Place!

ReplyDeleteThird Sunday in Advent
ReplyDeleteWhile imprisoned because of his faith, the Apostle Paul writes these words to the believers at Philippi who are also suffering because of their faith that Jesus was ‘God with us’, a.k.a. Emmanuel.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. 6 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7 (NRSV))
It is easy to tell someone going through a hard time, ‘be happy’, when all is well with the one telling. It is much more powerful when someone is suffering similar hardship and that person is rejoicing. It becomes inspirational.
The third Sunday in Advent is known as Joy Sunday, or in the Latin, Gaudete Sunday, and for those lighting an Advent wreath, the candle is customarily pink (explanation below). As the Advent season is intended to rekindle the fires of HOPE in us which, as we allow it to, will segue to PEACE. When we have PEACE in the midst of life, no matter the circumstances, we will then be free to have JOY because the HOPE that we began with tells us there is always a light at the end of the tunnels of life (and it is not a train). Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, Rejoice. The essential is the admonition in the Lord, for it is in Him and Him alone that there is JOY because of what He will ultimately do.
One of the greatest hymns of joy ever written is by Rev Henry van Dyke in 1907, Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee. Every phrase, every sentence is packed with power, bursting with exuberance. Upon writing it, he insisted it be sung to the tune of Hymn to Joy by Beethoven which added to its impact. When asked about his hymn, van Dyke replied, “These verses are simple expressions of common Christian feelings and desires in this present time - hymns of today that may be sung together by people who know the thought of the age, and are not afraid that any truth of science will destroy religion, or any revolution on earth overthrow the kingdom of heaven. Therefore this is a hymn of trust and joy and hope.” [1] Be blessed!
ODE TO JOY-JOYFUL, JOYFUL, WE ADORE THEE at ROYAL ALBERT HALL,LONDON
https://youtu.be/eMY3ivdNzwE
With love, Bob
Why is the candle pink? The early church created Advent to be similar to Lent that had long been established as a time of repentance and penance. Within Lent, a break from the rigor of the discipline was built into the observance so as to not lose one’s sense of joy in the Lord. The 4th Sunday of Lent is Laetare Sunday, a Sunday to be focused on joy. Therefore, when Advent was created, the same thought was built into its observance. The third Sunday was chosen as the Sunday to emphasize the joy of the Lord, thus the candle is pink, a lighter color than the traditional purple which is the color of repentance.
[1] Then Sings My Soul, by Robert J. Morgan published by Thomas Nelson, Inc.
Thanks dear Bob. I am trying my best to hold onto my peace and my in this busy season. Love that song and I know it well from Choir. It sounded so pretty with so many people singing together. I didn't know the reason for the pink candle was to emphasize the joy of the Lord. Thanks for teaching me well. God bless you always.
ReplyDeleteIn Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11). For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities -- all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. (Colossians 1:16-17). The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD. (Proverbs 16:33). For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, to do whatever Your hand and Your plan had predestined to take place. (Acts 4:27-28). Even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. (Ephesians 1:4).
ReplyDeleteHeavenly Father, thank You for Your sovereignty over all things. You are the Creator and the best Father ever. You are in control of everything. Thank You Jesus. I praise You Lord always. Help me to yield my soul to all that You are doing in my life. Help me to lead a more spirit-led life and not to live in this fleshly world. Help me to see things from Your perspective and through Your eyes. Grant me a mind like Christ. Renew my mind and reprogram my way of thinking to be like Yours Lord. Shine Your love light within me and remove any and all wickedness from me and replace it with Your goodness and glory. Let Your Spirit rule me. Help me to follow You Lord and the leading of the Holy Spirit and to do Your will and walk in Your ways and not in my own. Remove this worldly mentality from me and replace it with a spiritual mentality of You. Sanctify and preserve me Lord. Help me to live a sanctified life in Your Spirit. I desire to not just be "justified" in Your Spirit. Let our relationship grow and blossom. I delight in You Lord and enjoy You. Reveal to me all the joys and pleasures of Your heart and let me share them with You. I may not understand things, but I will trust in You Lord. I know You love me and will always take the best care of me. You are God Almighty and there is no other God but You. Thank You for being in my life and for being so amazing and wonderful. I stand in awe of Your majesty. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
ReplyDeletePraying with you and for you. We must do our best to follow after the spirit and not the flesh. We are human and flawed. We may start our day in thanksgiving and praise to the Lord, but later we let our human emotions get the best of us. We must allow God's spirit to establish and our thoughts and our steps. God knows your beautiful heart of trust. You have your trials but you bravely walk forward holding His Hand. I stand with you in awe of His majesty. What an amazing God we serve! May He lead your to all joy, peace, comfort, security, fulfillment and love. Thank You Jesus.
DeleteHe will swallow up death in victory; and the LORD God will wipe away tears off all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the earth; for the LORD hath spoken it. (Isaiah 25:8). Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish My purpose,' (Isaiah 46:9-10). The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He will. (Proverbs 21:1). The LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. (Proverbs 16:4). Which He will display at the proper time -- He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, (1 Timothy 6:15). "See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god beside Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of My hand. (Deuteronomy 32:39). And said, "O LORD, God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In Your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand You. (2 Chronicles 20:6). "Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they existed and were created." (Revelation 4:11). All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. (John 1:3-4).
ReplyDeleteThank you Janet for ALL the many scripture verses you've posted today, each one is worth a meditation on it's own. A real spiritual banquet. As I read along with your prayer, I am saying Amen to everything you prayed. I see these verses as a synopsis of God's Heart towards us; your prayer is the fitting response as like one thirsting for the presence of God like a deer panting for streams of water (Psalm 42:1). Your yearning for Him tug's at His Heart strings, He will give you the desires of your heart.
ReplyDeleteThank you Peter. That means a lot to me. I think all of us here desire to be as close to Him as we can be. God is so good -- ALWAYS! Peace be with you and God bless!
DeleteAmen Peter, Janet is feeding us well and encouraging our hearts. God knows she is a faithful servant. God bless you both.
DeleteJC Warriors -- I found this prayer from Dr. David Jeremiah that I've been praying daily since I came across it and I would like to share it with you. It's a prayer for spiritual warfare preparation.
ReplyDeleteHeavenly Father, Your warrior prepares for battle. Today I claim victory over Satan by putting on the whole armor of God! I put on the Girdle of Truth! May I stand firm in the truth of Your Word so I will not be a victim of Satan's lies. I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness! May it guard my heart from evil so I will remain pure and holy, protected under the blood of Jesus Christ. I put on the Shoes of Peace! May I stand firm in the Good News of the Gospel so Your peace will shine through me and be a light to all I encounter. I take the Shield of Faith! May I be ready for Satan's fiery darts of doubt, denial, and deceit so I will not be vulnerable to spiritual defeat. I put on the Helmet of Salvation! May I keep my mind focused on You so Satan will not have a stronghold on my thoughts. I take the Sword of the Spirit! May the two-edged sword of Your Word be ready in my hands so I can expose the tempting words of Satan. By faith Your warrior has put on the whole armor of God! I am prepared to live this day in spiritual victory! Amen!
Amen! Thanks!
DeleteWonderful prayer about God's armor and protection. Don't leave home without it! Thanks dear Janet
DeleteAMEN!!! A favorite of mine.
ReplyDeleteSharing this prayer: "I praise You, God, for Your grace and mercy, Your patience and love. Thank You that Your perfect love drives out fear, for I trust in You and Your promises. Help me share this precious gift with those You put in my path. I pray in the name of Jesus" Amen.
ReplyDeleteI love that prayer sweet Sassy Mom! Thanks <3
DeleteGod bless and restore the hearts, body and minds of the souls who have been devastated by the horrible storms of this weekend. I am from Tennesse and the Mid South is home. My heart aches yet I know that God is in their midst so therefore, there is Love. I appreciate and am so thankful for you folks. Let your light shine.
ReplyDeleteDear Amanda, Praying for you and all those in Kentucky and Illinois that have been affected by the storms. I can't imagine what you're going through. God is with you and your families. He is the One who can lead you now to receive the help, supplies, comfort and guidance you need. Amen God is in our midst always and He is mighty to save.
DeleteAmanda - "I am from Tennessee and the Mid South is home." Me too! My neighborhood had scary wind, no damage, 3 huge trees fell from the woods beside the house next door.
ReplyDeletePsalm 91:10-12
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Amen! Nice to meet you, Cuz! π€ Thank God you are here with us and I hope all will know that Jesus is the only "Shelter from the Storm".
DeleteSo happy to hear you are both alright my sisters. He is our shelter from our storms and our light in our wilderness. We are well taken care of and never left alone. Hallelujah!
ReplyDeletePraying for my JC Family as I head to bed. Amanda, Sassy Mom - all 5 states tossed and turned by the tornados - specific prayers for you. We lost power here yesterday, (Southern OH) until 5:00 last night. What a day, but nothing compared to what has gone on elsewhere. Holding all of them, you, in prayer. We prayed this morning in Fellowship for everyone and will continue to. Please pray for my Daughter-in-Love, Kaity. She has Gestational Diabetes and is due to deliver our healthy Granddaughter in the next few weeks. She got food poisoning last week and has been dehydrated. Was in the hospital on Friday and still recovering yesterday and today (thank God, the North side of town didn't lose power). She is a wonderful Mommy of two boys and they are SO excited for the day that "Baby Girl" arrives. We are keeping them in constant prayer and I'm praying for ways to bless her without being too intrusive. She laughs about being the "Introvert" in this family of "Extroverts," so I tread lightly, but so want to help any way I can. So pray for that with me, too, please. As my youngest son (her hub) said, "She won't ask for help, Mom - God has to tell us what to do - moment by moment." That is my prayer. Good Night, Dear Family - I'm praying for all and thankfully, God is on the Night Watch!

In Jesus name I pray for his divine hand to cover you and your family. So much to be thankful for! ☀️

ReplyDeleteThank you for this beautiful prayer JJ! I join you in this powerful prayer to end this day. I will truly sleep well. God bless this JC family ! Thank you Jesus
ReplyDeleteAmen dear JJ! Just what I needed to hear and pray. I know I'm not the only one going through a wilderness. I feel God's presence enveloping me. He understands everything so perfectly.
ReplyDeleteGotta get some rest. Will be sleeping as much as I can because I know I'm sleep deprived. Dear sisters and brothers. We surely know that God is so much greater than anything we could every go through. He is our constant Help, our peace, our comfort, our strength, our guidance, our very Best Friend. I know why God told me to get on here instead of going to sleep. So I could read one of my favorite verses: Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Waiting on the Lord. May He grant all of us answered prayers, and surround us with His peace at this hectic time. He is our Hope. On Him I stand.
My Dear Jeanne ---I pray right now the Lord is making a way for you where there seem to be no way. I Declare that you will walk on the highway of greatness. Instead of curses, you will head straight towards healing, restoration, peace and blessings. There will be numerous tribulations and difficult times. Though we do not the whole story, we know that it ends with your VICTORY, Jeanne, through Jesus Christ and The Blood He shed for us!
DeleteAnd, devil, you can't defeat The Blood! In Jesus's name, AMEN and AMEN
Psalm 91:15-16. "He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life, I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation."
Amen JJ and Jeanne! God is so good ALWAYS! He is our strength and our refuge. He lifts us up and loves us unconditionally and with a love we cannot comprehend. He is our good Father who watches over us at all times. Thank You Jesus π.
ReplyDeleteThe LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. (2 Chronicles 15:2).
ReplyDeleteThank you for this prayer. It is mine today as well.

As others have stated, we've discovered that this site now has a setting of not displaying all comments at once if the number of comments exceeds 200. This is only a problem on some days right now, but probably will be a problem in future years. This basically means it will require some additional clicks to get to the final page of the latest comments (i.e. "Load More" after 200 comments). I wish there was a different way for it to work but am hoping this isn't an obstacle for folks. Thanks for being here.
ReplyDeleteUnderstood thanks Chris, no hassle.
DeleteChris, I am grateful for this site and I am uplifted by your "My Prayer" additions. May God continue to bless you and your family. John H. Austin, TX

Yes, Submerged beneath the surface of the visible world are mysteries too vast for us to comprehend. Much Love, Brie
"Submerged beneath the surface of the visible world are mysteries too vast for you to comprehend. If you could only see how close I am to you and constantly I work on your behalf, you would never again doubt that I am wonderfully caring for you." As soon as I read this I knew it to be absolutely true. He really is that close and that great! Do you realize the only reason we don't think like this is because we cannot see Him? Did you know He is more real and more present than we are? There is more evidence to prove His existence than there is ours. The spiritual realm is so much greater than the physical realm. Meditate on 2 Kings 6:17. The spiritual realm has been around for an eternity, but the physical for "a day." Next time you encounter a trial immediately pray -Lord, I know you are here and I know you care. Keep talking to Him and you will have your view transformed because....He really is here! We must act like it!
ReplyDeleteAmen! You're on the right track.
Deletewitnessesfthelight --- Amen, I am right there with you.
Delete2 Corinthians 4:18. "As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal."

My Prayer is to linger with you and repeatedly pray your prayer. Thanks JJ
As Maplewood stated in an earlier crossover post...December is a great, special and wonderful month. A month in remembrance of our Savior’s birth, a month when hope and redemption came into the world, a month of jubilation, celebration, a month that will forever be cherished!
ReplyDeleteOur devotion reminds us,
God is taking good care of us so we can feel the warmth and security of being enveloped in His LOVING Presence. Every detail of our LIFE is under His control. Moreover, everything fits into a pattern for good, to those who LOVE God and are called according to His design and purpose.
To celebrate the 12th day of this celebratory month, I plan to give JESUS "L" gifts of treating everyone I encounter today with the LOVE of God, because God is LOVE. Therefore, only when I LOVE the brother and sister who my eyes see right here in front of me, can I LOVE a God whom my eyes have never seen! Plus God Himself has said that I must LOVE not only God but LOVE my brother and sister too.
I can only LOVE like this with the Holy Spirit's help!
Come Holy Spirit and hasten to my aid.
Amen, Brie, Amen! Such an UPLIFT!
DeleteJoining in this wonderful Amen and Hallelujah!!! God is LOVE!!!
