Go gently through this day, keeping your eyes on Me. I will open up the way before you, as you take steps of trust along your path. Sometimes the way before you appears to be blocked. If you focus on the obstacle or search for a way around it, you will probably go off course. Instead, focus on Me, the Shepherd who is leading you along your life-journey. Before you know it, the "obstacle" will be behind you and you will hardly know how you passed through it.
That is the secret of success in My kingdom. Although you remain aware of the visible world around you, your primary awareness is of Me. When the road before you looks rocky, you can trust Me to get you through that rough patch. My Presence enables you to face each day with confidence.
John 10:14-15
English Standard Version
14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.
Isaiah 26:7
English Standard Version
The path of the righteous is level;
you make level the way of the righteous.

Heavenly Father, Your presence in this day and everyday is greatly needed. I pray that not only do You father me, but I allow myself to be fathered, seeking you throughout this day. Too many times I stray like lost sheep, going my own way on my own will and often choose the wrong path only to end up lost. I pray that I focus on You, trusting Your path that You have set out for me which gives me strength and confidence to where I am going.
ReplyDeleteAmen, Jeff!

DeleteThanks again Jeff! Still such a wonderful and truthful prayer. I sure can relate. We often get distracted by our responsibilities and let go of His Hand. We must consciously stay in His presence and remember we never walk alone and everything is better with Him right by our side.
DeleteWell said, Jeanne, it is indeed! When I remember to confer with God throughout my day, oh, how much better my day goes!

ReplyDeleteThe reading for today speaks of ways that “appear to be blocked” and roads that “look rocky”. Contained within those descriptions is a strong sense of how we perceive things often based on whether we like it or not. The verse from Jeremiah shared with us in Iggi’s comment above wonderfully capsulizes our hope. But the verse speaks in even greater ways if we view the context in which it was spoken. This was a word of hope spoken to a people stuck in exile in Babylon with no apparent way out of their misery. So the children of God are told in the meantime to have their families, build their homes, and be good citizens of Babylon while they wait for the promise of hope in verse 11 to come to pass. When my sister-in-law was dying of cancer, her husband who was Jewish looked at me and said, “We live in hope.” That is the essence of the Jeremiah passage and today’s reading. May our Lord so help us to do.
ReplyDeleteAmen Bob! We truly live in hope in every situation and through every challenge. I spent the day with my dear Sister in law who has Alzheimer’s. I spoke to her about faith and gave her some Bible verses about encouragement and comfort., She trusts in the Lord’s provisions.and even in her hardest days she feels God’s love surrounding her. Her life is an example of hope and trust.

Good morning loved onesđĽ°. Sooo busy these days that I hardly have time to post. Read all the post from yesterday & praying for the requests. You're all in my heart & thoughts. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, watching as our burdens & cares grow strangely dim. Let His light shine throughout our walk today. Love to allđĽ°.
ReplyDeleteI love Bob's post above from last year. Are our paths truly "blocked" or is that just how we perceive them? Sometimes (especially at work) problems/challenges/situations arise and my first inclination is to let out a sigh and roll my eyes. But often, the situation works itself out before I even have time to deal with it. Was it ever really a "blocked" path? Or was that my perception?
ReplyDeleteStay connected to The Vine, my friends.
Blocked to us is wide open to Him. Therefore, we trust in Our Lord with all our heart, relying on His understanding above ours.
DeleteThanks Suzanne R., for always reminding me and JC Family to stay connected to The Vine!
Amen dear Brie! What we see as impossible when we lean on our own understanding is a pinch for our Almighty Father. Trusting in Him and staying plugged into the Vine!
DeleteThe verse from today‘s Daily Bread goes well with this: At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. Acts 16:26
ReplyDeleteSassy Mom, saying somw extra prayers for you today. Enjoy lunch with your fried and celebrate! Your mate is looking down on you and will celebrate again with you in heaven one day. Reminisce about the good times you shared on earth.
ReplyDeleteMom of 3, praying that you are feeling much better a year later. God is with you every step of the way. One step at a time, you will get there. If you fall, God is there to help pick you up and hold you up. Depression is difficult, but nothing is impossible with God.
Jesus, help me this day and always to remain faithful and trusting in You. Help me to stay the course and keep my eyes and thoughts on You, especially through what I perceive as difficulties and challenges. You are why I make it through each day. Thank You! Amen. CO
I find this entry so in line with yesterday's JC-October 17. One day at a time. I am with you today....each day! Do not look ahead, or you stumble at this moment. Do not go around or you miss my lesson for you on the "bump in the road". I pray that we all challenge our "bumps" yes some greater than others, but knowing that God is with us ALWAYS. Not being alone is so comforting. Amen.
ReplyDeleteNice nuggets of wisdom in your comment ABC! I too often look for the 'detour' around the obstacle in my path. Sometimes staying the course, persevering, riding out the 'bumps' is what yields the best fruit or a personal lesson or growth opportunity!
DeleteI missed sharing with my JC family yesterday and late today, but read and prayed for all!
ReplyDeleteThe Lord is good and His mercy endures FOREVER! His name will be praised and glorified to the 4 corners of this earth. His Kinddom shall come and His will is going to be done! Satan has nothing on HIM!

I too am so busy caring for my daughter and the boys but I too read the posts and pray for all. Mother of three my heart goes out to you; I'm granny of a three year old and 2 month old (boys) and my daughter goes back to work on Monday. We'll pray for each other..sometimes I can only take a few minutes at a time calling out to Jesus all day. Sassy Mom you are a strong woman, our lord's favored one; I love you and admire you. I was married for 30 years; my husband went to our lord 19 years ago. Happy anniversary! I pray for all JC Warriors. May you be blessed by our lord's cross and resurrection in union with the holy spirit. All glory and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
ReplyDelete..."APPEARS to be blocked"
ReplyDelete..."LOOKS rocky"
Appearances and looks can be deceiving. They are not necessarily reality. Lord would You help me dwell on YOU, not them? AMEN.
Lord help me keep my eyes on you tiday and everyday. I need your strength to hold me up as x i keep walking the rocky roads
DeleteThank you Brie for pointing out some key words, appears and looks, it's all about our perspective. Lord please help each of us see through your eyes our situations and dwell in your peace.
DeleteRight before we left church today our little guy (3 and autistic) hit my husband in the face with a stick (Long story). It made a cut on his cheek. Our son (17 and autistic) got upset because his Dad was hurt. Lord please help each of us see you in situations like this. Please teacher us through hard times and easy. Help us as a family to not get caught up how things look or how it appears at the moment. Thank you Lord for loving us so much.
Thank You for lifting TERRI and all of us up Lord, turning us around until we can focus through Your Eyes with Their infinite higher vision, and where Your reality exists beyond looks and appearances. that our limited earthly vision sees. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
DeleteFather, Thank You for strengthening Momma Chilson as she walks a rocky road. Make her paths smooth again and light her wilderness. Give her joy and peace in Your presence.
DeleteGuide dear Terri through the difficult days and cover her dear family with your healing and peace. They trust in your loving care. Help them to understand that You are a discerner of hearts. Appearances mean little to you. Bless them in every way. Amen
God is good, and it's proven through you, JC friends! I am blessed, honored, and humbled by all your prayers and continued kind words. Without question, my life has been very charmed and special to date.
ReplyDeleteSome "lagniappe" to yesterday's post. In the southeast, a front moved through mid-afternoon, and gave the region a clear deep blue sky. Some asked how did it look... and yes, I took numerous photos. But of course, they do NO justice to how majestic this sunset was. I also forgot to add that a lone jet at high altitude traversed between my location and the sun. It happened shortly before the sunset got spectacular. Often contrails are missing or sporatic... but it seemed to be God slightly teasing me of the upcoming song about mountains and being okay, by also saying that this is for you (I'm a veteran Navy flyer). As a kid, I would dream of flying and could tell you what type of jet aircraft from the plane's contrails flying overhead...
Lastly an update, I'm likely to know more by Wed. or Thurs. Thanks again for the prayers of healing and miracles that you continue to offer. God Bless You All.
"Lagniappe" meant a little extra of something good that we spoke of and asked for when I lived in New Orleans! I thought it was a French word until I visited France, and the people I asked there , said they had never heard of that word!
DeleteNevertheless Madfox, I wish plenty extra of something good continues for you.
Father, continue to engulf Madfox with Your peace and do Your work in him, as only You can. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen đ. Praise the Lord continually and always.
Delete...a lone jet at high altitude traversed between my location and the sun...
DeleteSounds like God's wink and signature to let you know, this is personal between me and you, Madfox, and This Song's For You. Many times I had heard and been inspired by the song, Into the Sea (It's Gonna Be Ok) by Tasha Layton. Now, each time I hear it, I'll be thinking of and praying for you with the imagery of the sunset you shared! Thanks for letting us in. We love you.
MadFox, I believe you're right about the jet. There have been two times God gave me sunbeams breaking through a cloud when I really needed to see his "okay". And then, things did go okay. I loved reading about this and glad you got to realize that dream of flying. How honorable to be a Navy flyer. Thank you!
DeleteMadFox - Kmertens is right..so very honorable to be a veteran Navy flyer! I am grateful for your service. Prayers continue for whatever road is ahead. Your strength and faith will guide you. KS

Thank you for your service in our navy mad fox! The signs are all around and especially when they jump out to us and we know they are sent from God especially for us. Praying for good news this week and comfort for you and your loved ones, in Jesus's name.
DeleteDear MadFox, You gave me one more reason to thank you! What a noble mission you had serving your country as a Navy Pilot! Thank you for your service. You have been serving the Lord for your whole life. A good and faithful servant. I agree that the flight of the jet was a signal to you that God was speaking to you through the song and glorious sunset. And your beautiful heart was open to receive e His comfort. I had such a busy day today but I prayed for you and God’s healing of every weakness in your body. Keep trusting in His faithfulness and know only He has the last word. Wait on Him always. We all love you deeply and sincerely dear Brother.

Deleteđś IN CHRIST ALONE đś
ReplyDeleteIn Christ alone will I glory
Though I could pride myself in battles won
For I've been blessed beyond measure
And by His strength alone I'll overcome
Oh, I could stop and count successes like diamonds in my hands
But those trophies could not equal to His Grace by which I stand
In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of His cross
In every Victory
Let it be said of me
My Source of Strength
My Source of Hope
Is Christ alone
In Christ alone do I glory
For only by His Grace I am redeemed
For only His Tender Mercy
Could reach beyond my weakness to my need
And now I seek no greater honor in just to know Him more
And to count my gains but losses to the Glory of my Lord
In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of His cross
In every Victory
Let it be said of me
My Source of Strength
My Source of Hope
Is Christ alone

My Loving Heavenly Father, Thank You for another day that has caused me to hear and see Your loving kindness. May my eyes remain fixed on Jesus with a heart of total and absolute trust. I do not want to miss out on what You have for me Father, but rather, I want my faith to be purified so that You Lord can be glorified, allowing Jesus to be magnified through each step I take on this journey called life. And may You my Refiner, see Your own reflection mirrored in my life here on this earth. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen.
ReplyDeleteWe are encouraged this morning to keep our eyes always fixed on Jesus, the One who provides all hope, and all purpose by keeping focused eyes. He is the Refiner, the One who is ultimately in control of everything. Lets trust Him because He is our 'refuge and strength, an ever- present help to us in this troubled world.'
Dear Father, May we remain authentic in Your grace and powerful in our faith to keep our eyes fixed on the One who is able to heal, rescue and restore, the One who has not forgotten us as individuals and the One who is greater than any circumstance. May our focused eyes understand that You have big plans for each one of us, in Jesus name. Amen.

Amen sweet Maplewood!!! Let our eyes be fixed on the One that holds our Future in His Hands. He knows every word in our heart and every thought and concern in our mind. I will stand on the Rock of Ages. In Him I am strengthened and taken care of. I know this because a few days ago when I invited Him to walk with me, I smiled as I walked with my best Friend He opened my eyes to every beautiful thing He created and when we were together under my favorite tree, I asked Him to speak to me. All I received were the three words ”Taken care of”. I stood there feeling so blessed and so secure in His love. Such a special moment!

ReplyDeleteWishing you sweet sweet memories on your anniversary Sassy Mom!❤️
ReplyDeleteThank You Lord for this day. I declare in the mighty name of Jesus this Sunday will be an amazing day!!! Getting ready for church now, then have a lunch date with my husband planned. Then later on this evening we have another little date planned. All of our three of our youngest boys went to their Nana's which is a huge blessing because hubby and I havent been alone since before Covid. So that in itself was a huge blessing. It was a last minute thing and it worked out perfectly!!!
ReplyDeleteThank You, Peyton Family for the easy access to these devotions. I have misplaced my book so this is a blessing to me, and I know it is to so many others as well!!!
This is the day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it!!!

Cari Amelia, have a glorious time with your hubby. It's so important to have time for each other. R & R, refuel & regroup!đ¤
DeleteWhat a precious gift of time alone with your love! So happy for you!! God us always on time.
DeleteFROM ISAIAH 26: 7 For the Good Shepherd's people, the path is leveled and smoothed! God gives them a smoothe and safe path by smoothing the road before them. O Lord, we love to do Your Will! Our heart's desire is to glorify Your Name, our Good Shepherd.
ReplyDeleteBEACH DEVOTION: SALT AIR HAIR
When we visit the beach, sometimes our hair frustrates us as it blows around unruly in the salty breeze. We might as well give up trying to keep the wild strands in check and accept the fact that we have salt air hair. Let beach blown hair remind us that some things are out of our control. Our best efforts to control and smoothe them pale in comparison with God's Good Shepherd Success Plan for us.
We can laugh about our lack of control over smoothing beach air hair but not the times when evil seems to be winning, our child is bullied, our best friend makes destructive decisions, or a boss' words are cutting, dismissive or demeaning. Regardless of how rocky the road before us looks, or how earthly things appear to be blocked before us, God instructs us to give up the controls to Him, letting Him guide us in ALL things for His Way is far higher than our way and His Answers alone will succeed Victoriously. Savoring His Truths, we can leave the hair gel behind today, letting our hair and our Spirits soar as a reminder that all is well with our soul!
FROM PROVERBS 21: A Godly person will consider the fact that everyone must stand before the Lord; and, our Victory only comes from God.
MY PRAYER FOR US:
Dear Heavenly Father God,
Would You help us be at peace in mind and heart since You can and do smoothe and fix all our situations in this life when we turn over the control to You, our Good Shepherd? Would You help us leave the control in Your Hand, taking steps of trust along Your Path, trusting in Your Holy Word, in Your Decisions and trusting You to take care of it all? That would free us up to play on the beach instead of being stuck inside the beachhouse gelling our hair. I ask. I seek. I knock. I thank You. In Jesus' Name. AMEN
Brie. Thanks! I sure can relate. I am Italian and I have long wavy brown hair with quite a few grays mixed in but when I go to the beach especially when it’s humid, my hair has a party and everything curls up and fluffs up. God smooths out my life in a big way. He brings a sweet calm over any raging waters. And comfort to my heart.
DeleteThank you sister Brie, I'm so glad I was led by the Spirit to come back here to the previous day before reading today's. We are all so blessed to have found our way here to this blog. It's so good during these troubling days to be reminded of God's Good Shepherd Success Plan for us. May we all learn to give up the controls to Him, letting Him guide us in ALL things for His Way. God Bless you and yours and thank you for your service to others put into your stories.

DeleteThanks sweet NJS! The highlight of the night was after dinner. After I put his pajamas on, Gabriel went to his bookshelf and pulled out: God Made Seasons, God Made Colors, God Made Animals, God Made Earth, and God Made Nature. I said God made us and everything. He said FIVE. I said yes. He loves the Lord and he's so smart. Just turned 3. He is such a sweetheart. Just keeps calling for Nani all the time. It blesses me because that was my Grandma's name. I said Thank You Jesus as I went to sleep. I sure am blessed.

DeleteAmen dear Mark.
ReplyDeleteIsaiah 41:13 - For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
So tired and yet I have to say,'Good night,' to my JC Family. Too much has happened in the last 24-48 hrs to recount. All I can say at this late hour is that God is with us, every step of the way. Asking for prayers for my dear Daughter in Love who lost her Dad on Saturday. We've lost too many - 2 funerals on Thurs - words can't describe. But I know who I believe in and as we seek his perfect peace, we will still be able to say, "All is well." Love and Blessings. More later. Prayers for all of you and yours.
ReplyDeletePraying for your comfort and your dear Daughter in Love's comfort. May God rest her Dad's soul, and guide the whole family and fill them with peace. Thank You Jesus.
ReplyDeleteDear Norah, Sending you a hug. You've had too many losses and God knows your sorrowful and weary heart. Get some rest now. Much love.
I was thinking of today’s devotion and it is so true that if we give every one of our cares to the Lord, we will soon walk with a lighter load. The things we are most afraid of won’t seem quite so scary when we include Him in the picture. With Him walking beside us through our difficult moments, we are empowered and equipped because we don’t walk alone. My Mom has macular degeneration and she told me yesterday she thinks she’s going blind. I told her she knows God can do all things and it seems like she’s not trusting in His help. I asked her why she was limiting His power. I told her instead of worrying she is losing her sight, she should thank Him that she is getting a little better every day. God loves a thankful heart. It’s understandable that she is fearful because her good right eye now sees spots of dark fog. But only when she covers her left eye. She sees better when she uses both eyes together. Unfortunately her unaffected eye could never see clearly so now she can’t read or watch tv. She also may have something else wrong. I’m waiting to hear the results of her blood test today. We always watched movies when we ate dinner but tonight I played Ella Fitzgerald songs and she loved it. She kept saying how much she loves music. She realized how blessed she was that she could enjoy hearing music. I was so happy we shared some really happy time and she was being grateful for her blessings. Praying the blood test results will show something that is treatable. Her new eye do has an idea it may be inflammation in the blood leading to the optic nerve and if it is, that can be treated. I keep telling God I will not be afraid because I know He can do all things. Every time I rest in Him, I feel His sweet peace soothing me and my heart hears His voice saying: Don’t worry, Everything will be alright.
ReplyDeleteI know many of my dear JC Family are going through their own difficult trials and I pray for God to strengthen, heal and guide them and their loved ones. I believe in His mercy and power to turn obstacles into blessings. Go forward through the fire with Him. Before you know it, He will have led you right through them. Thank You Jesus.
Proverbs 3:5 and 6
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Dear Jeanne -- Thank you sweet Jeanne for your encouragement. I too believe in His mercy and power to turn our life's circumstances into blessings! He is our everything!!! Love Proverbs 3!!!
DeleteContinuing to pray dear Jeanne for this difficult situation for your mom. What a wonderful loving support you are through it all. God's word said it all for you in this proverb. Stand firmly on its promise. đđđ
DeleteLarry and I are On our way to lab for routine bloodwork. Praying for your Mom, Jeanne and for all of our fellow travelers in this JC Family, while we are on this road called life. Much Love and Many Prayers, Brie
DeleteKeeping all of you who are in need in my prayers as I thank God for knowing and resolving any needs. His timing, His love, His promises!
DeleteThanks dear JJ, Jan, Brie and Audra! Thanks for your prayers. Praying for you also. Standing firmly on His promises. Dear Brie, Waiting to hear good news about the bloodwork. May God guide every little thing and keep all of you safe as you travel. Amen dear Audra. All in His amazing timing and according to His plan and leaning on His promises and surrounded by His love.
DeletePraying for you and your Mom Jeanne. You got it right, an attitude of gratitude and trusting Him in all things. Numbers 6: 24-26 “The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”
ReplyDeleteThanks dear Peter! Amen.
DeletePrayed for you dear Norah. I posted earlier but it didn't come through. We do share the same "hibbie jibbies" đą! Hang in there dear girl, this too shall pass, ( until the next appointment)! đđđ
ReplyDeleteMore Prayers for you, Norah, while you are in The dentist's Prayer Chair!
DeletePraying with dear Brie. Hope the dentist was gentle with you sweet Norah.
DeleteDear heavenly Father, help me to always follow You. Following You keeps my path blessed. Following my own path often is not blessed. When will I learn that asking for You to bless my path is not necessary when I follow your path! It's already blessed!! Amen.
ReplyDeleteSweet ABC! Just loved that. Follow His path and it's already blessed. So true.
DeleteThank you Dear JC Family for your prayers for my dental work. I am back home and blessed. I got through it Jan and Brie - with the help of the Nitric Oxide, deep breathing, praying in the spirit and "counting it all as Joy," which was the topic of our Fellowship the last two weeks. The minister shared what he called "The Grace Administration's definition of JOY: "Joy is an inward expression of the operation of God’s spirit, power, and Word. It is not controlled by emotions, circumstances, situations, or feelings, but by the spirit of God – directed by the renewed mind.
ReplyDeleteAn inside job"
So, while we are going through all of our challenges, we may not be happy about all of them; but we have the Joy of the Lord (one of the fruits of the Spirit) and that is ever-present.
Praying your "routine blood work," is perfect Brie and Larry. Jeanne, your dear mom will remain in my prayers. As Peter said, that 'attitude of gratitude,' is so powerful. That's the JOY we were being taught about.
Prayers for all of you, Dear JC Family. Work awaits and I'll count that as joy, too! :)
Love and Blessings,
Norah
Well I was glad you got that Nitric Oxide to make it a little easier. Thank You Father for taking good care of our Norah.
DeleteDear Sassy Mom, this is a day of remembrance of anniversaries for you. May any pain be soothed by our loving Father and comfort you as often as you need it. đ♥️
ReplyDeleteSweet Compassionate Audra - Thanks so much for your comforting words. I receive them with much joy. This morning I woke up with very bad vertigo, I was "hooter than a drunk owl" - the room kept spinning and spinning and I was spinning with it. Today has been a quiet day blessed with precious happy memories. I miss celebrating with my Debbi which is what we continued to do after the death of my husband who has been in heaven for 7 years.
DeletePraying your vertigo goes away soon dear Sassy Mom. My good husband had it and it wasn't fun. I'm sure you do have many sweet memories of your dear husband and you miss the good company of your good daughter Debbi. Keeping you so tight in my prayers. Much love. You will be with them both again.
DeletePlease join me in prayers for David who I just met. He lost everything in a neighborhood fire and is challenged by the aftermath of memories of getting himself and elderly in his neighborhood to safety as the fire consumed homes, possessions, and pets all around them. ☹️đ✝️
ReplyDeletePraying now for God to provide all of David's needs and bringing him comfort and support and a strength of faith and shelter.
DeleteThank You Jesus.

ReplyDeleteFocusing on our Good Shepherd and all He has done for us. Please pray for His continued faithfulness for my dear mother who is going to the NYU ER because her blood test results showed a Sedimentation rate (ESR) of 120 percent. Her doctor said she has a bad infection that is causing her confusion. Janet and her husband David are taking her there this morning.
ReplyDeleteFather God, We are trusting You and thanking You for healing her weaknesses and infirmities and for taking away her infection. Thank You for bringing peace of mind to Janet and David and my good Mom. Thank You for leading her to the best doctors and the right treatment to bring her back to good health, clear thinking, and physical and mental comfort in the powerful Name of Christ Jesus, our Risen Lord. Amen
Isaiah 26:3
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
Psalm 103:1-5
Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

DeleteWhat a comfort to read all your sweet responses and prayers this morning. Thank you dear MadFox, Janet, SC, Blessings from NY, Violet, Suzanne, and Jan!! My Mom is at the ER and is feisty as ever telling them she doesn’t wanna be there and complaining that she wants a cigarette! I believe all will be well because not only are they being protected and guided by our great God, but Janet has all the proper prescriptions from the Neurologist for the best tests for Mom’s evaluation. Praying with all of you that God is already bringing her back to good health and clarity of mind. Thank You Jesus. Amen đđđđ
Delete27 Make me understand the way of Your precepts, Oh Lord, so I will meditate on Your Wonders.

Thank You Jesus for all blessings on Jeanne's Mom's situation, and all the people that are helping You to help her. In Jesus' Name. AMEN!
Joining in prayer for Jeannie and family thru this health challenge. May the only infectious remains be the praise and glory to God for His perfect outcome.
DeleteLooking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2).

DeleteI pray for your son, I pray for protection and guidance. I pray that the Lord draws him close and that he draws close to the lord. "In this world we will have trouble but he has overcome the world". It is only by staying close to him that we have peace in this world.
ReplyDeleteAmen dear Violet! Stay close to Him and He will stay close to you. The only true peace is from Above.
DeleteIt is only in a relationship with God that we can find true peace. I pray for all to come to know Him.

ReplyDeleteCounting my blessings this morning as I awaken to 39 degrees in Tennessee watching the Sonrise. How great is our God! Jon and I visited Annapolis this past weekend for the annual Sailboat show and stopped to see Makenna, Austin and sweet Westin on the trip back. He is thriving and doing so well! He weighs almost 13 lbs and is 9 weeks today. I almost got put into Mimi 'time-out' yesterday because we were playing all morning and he missed his morning nap. Mom wasn't amused with his crankiness during his pediatrician appointment. Oh well. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe got to see the beginning of the leaves changing color and how vibrant the reds, oranges and yellows are already. Wish I could send you all pics. It's a big deal to us because we don't get that in Houston. We are heading back to Houston early tomorrow morning. Prayers please for a safe trip. Peace, my friends.
What an awesome and joyful trip you had! I’m sure you and Jon enjoyed the Sailboat show and all the scenery. And we got more answered prayers. Westin sounds like he’s doing great and Austin and Makenna are enjoying parenthood.
DeleteDid you bag up any colorful leaves? You can iron them between waxed paper to enjoy for a while. Keep all the beautiful memories in your heart to savor later.
May God continue to keep you and Jon safe and blessed on the ride home.
Thank You Father for this in Jesus’ Name. Amen
How Great is our God by Chris Tomlin
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBD18rsVJHk
The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty
Let all the Earth rejoice
All the Earth rejoice
He wraps himself in light
And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end
The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
Name above all names (how great is our God, sing with me)
Worthy of our praise (how great is our God, and all will see)
My heart will sing
How great is our God
You're the name above all names (how great is our God, sing with me)
You are worthy of our praise (how great is our God, and all will see)
And my heart will sing
How great is our God
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
Thanks dear Suzanne! That song really blessed my morning! How Great is our God!!! đđ
ReplyDeleteBlessings to each of you, this day, Jesus Calling Family! We just waved our sweet guest off. They were a delight and so appreciative of such simple things we provided. What a blessing.
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for your dear Mom, Jeanne; that the Dr. provides the knowledge and wisdom to get rid of that infection and heal her which we know Our Father will surely orchestrate. Praying for you, dear Sister as you sing, praise and bless everyone around you.
Prayers for each of your requests; for you, our Dear Sassy Mom as you celebrate with the sweetest memories of your dear Husband, who I know you miss today as much as you did eight years ago. For strong family ties; for everyone's perfect health and for all of your memories, Dear Mad Fox of God's great deliverance. Indeed, How Great Is Our God?!
Blessings, Peace and Safe Travels for all.
Love, Norah
Thanks dear Norah. So happy you enjoyed your sweet guests from Germany! Your visit sounded so wonderful. My mom is not doing well and the results from the tests she had in the ER are vague but her sodium level is low and that's not good. They wanted to admit her and give her more tests but she made a very loud nuisance of herself in the ER and she wouldn't stay. She's going to the Neurologist tomorrow so we'll know more.
DeleteDear Sassy Mom, Happy Anniversary! Remember all the sweet moments of love you shared together. You'll be with him and Debbi and all your dear ones again. So happy dear MadFox is continuing to see God's faithfulness! We are praying for each other. May God continue to bless us all and answer our prayers. He is such a faithful God!
Psalm 91:14-15
Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
Thank you beloved "Miss Norah". God blessed me with sweet sleep last night and continues to bless me with sweet memories and a beautiful day of warm sunshine. Much love and many prayers to JC Warriors.

DeleteSassy Mom - you are such an example to me and to all of us! THANK YOU. I wonder at times, - my DH's surgery coming up on 10/24, 'What would I do without him??' And I know that I would go on, just like you have. Always missing him and wishing he were here, but I would go on. You've been through so much and yet, you persevere. Because that is what we're called to do. Thank you. For your example. For your steadfast love for God. For teaching us. And I know my Best Man would do the same without me. Because we know our future.
ReplyDeleteHeading to bed, praying for your dear Mom, Jeanne. She is stubborn because she knows her future. And, she will do it Her Way, along with God. You have to love that! I do!!
God's richest blessings on all of you, JC Family. God is on the Night Watch!
Thanks dear Norah. Your prayers mean so much! We sure do love our Sassy Mom! Her strength of faith through so much loss and many challenges is an inspiration to me too. God bless both of you strong women of faith. I believe Loren's 10/24 surgery will go just fine because God is in charge. Rest in Him who cares for you. Much love. Goodnight now. May you have sweet sleep because God is on the Night Watch.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your Spirit Healing prayers, JC Family. I was blessed by them, Jeanne, Janet, Anonymous from Georgia, Websister, Audra, MadFox, NJS, Anonymous KY, Norah, and ALL other JC Prayer Warriors who prayed for me.
ReplyDeleteTruth be told, I thought I had posted Anonymously, because that is the choice I selected.
When I saw Brie appear on the actual post, I was shocked and was quickly preparing to delete it. But God's Holy Spirit said NO. He purposely allowed Brie to appear because I am OK. It was something bad (an "obstacle" of sorts) that happened to me and I could hold my head up minus the shame. And as always, He said, I'm sending someones into this room who need to read this from you.
OK, I guess if You Say So.
"SO", He said!
Thanks again for your blessing prayers. They are helping my spirit to activate today's devotion:
Go gently through this day, keeping your eyes on Me. I will open up the way before you...
Focus on Me, the Shepherd who is leading you along your life-journey. Before you know it, the "obstacle" will be behind you and you will hardly know how you passed through it...
When the road before you looks rocky, you can trust Me to get you through that rough patch. My Presence enables you to face each day with confidence...
Much ❤️ and Many Continuous đ for all of you and all of yours. In Jesus ' Name
AMEN!
Dear Brie -- I've been Interceding
Deletefor the needs of my treasured JCFAMILY these past days and you and Janet have certainly been on my heart.
I want to share something that has been helpful for me when going through tough times.
Every experience we have, both and bad, affects our soul. To keep my soul aligned with God, I use the Keys to the Kingdom---
binding and loosing. So in the Name of Jesus, by an act of my will, I choose to loose from my soul anything that is not of God---any negativity, pain, anger, ill treatment or burdens. Then, I bind to my soul God's Love, His Will, His Plan, His Ways, His Goodness, His Healing, His Health , His Grace, Mercy, Strength, Courage and Joy. I aim to do this weekly, and it brings me peace and renewal. Sending my love and my deepest prayers. God has the perfect plan and He always causes us to TRIUMPH!!! HALLELUJAH!!! JJđđđš
Should read: both good and bad, affects our soul.
