Interesting Thoughts _ January 2013

Something or someone had to have always existed, or else everything that exists now would have ultimately come from nothing. Nothing causes nothing, so the fact that something exists today means that something or someone must have always existed. Think about it.

Therefore, by placing a resident apologist at each university, Ratio Christi is training Christian students not only that their faith is solidly grounded in truth (reality), but that every conversation is an opportunity to lead others to Christ.
AND
To win our postmodern culture to Christ and to keep Christians from falling away from the faith, churches are going to have to equip their congregations with more than how to have financial peace, or how to laugh their way to a better marriage.

My thought:  Looks like a great mission. It seems like Way of the Master's mission to bypass the intellect (the place of argument) and speaking directly to the conscience (the place of the knowledge of right and wrong). Make it personal. But, at some point the intellect may become necessary. Thus, the apologist.
