I AM above all things: your problems, your pain, and the swirling events in this ever-changing world. When you behold My Face, you rise above circumstances and rest with Me in heavenly realms. This is the way of Peace, living in the Light of My Presence. I guarantee that you will always have problems in this life, but they must not become your focus. When you feel yourself sinking in the sea of circumstances, say “Help me, Jesus!” and I will draw you back to Me. If you have to say that thousands of times daily, don’t be discouraged. I know your weakness, and I meet you in that very place.
Ephesians 2:6
English Standard Version
...and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
English Standard Version
...and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Matthew 14:28-32
English Standard Version
And Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.
My Prayer
Lord, you are in charge. You are high above everything in my life. Lord, You are over it all and not surprised about anything that is going on in my life. I see events of my life often for the first time and cringe, get stressed, and wonder how can I make it. I have fear. I feel embarrassed. I get impatient and think I won't be able to make it. I know this is normal, but I want You to be my peace. Give me the strength to not be fearful and instead cry out to you, "Help me, Jesus!"
Lord, You are there. You are with me. I cry out to You. Help
Me.

ReplyDeleteI love the tie to Peter's brief walk on water to Jesus. My life and perhaps yours are full of good intentions and pure motives which then get hijacked by our sheer ability to quickly shift to a focus on self. Yes, it is clear, as we have been reading for weeks. We need God and when we hold His hand, He gets us through the rough patches. Help us Jesus...please keep us from "sinking in the sea of circumstances." Amen.
Amen!
DeleteI think I am trusting God, but then worry sets in, and I fail. Help me Jesus! MadFox you are right. Amen.
DeleteYes and Amen, Madπ¦! Prayed for you all in the night when I couldn't sleep for a bit with worry time. In times like these I whisper, "help me Jesus with peace and restful sleep". Works more often than not π♥️π
DeleteAmen! I also pray for all as I lie in my bed and I thank Jesus for giving me rest and sweet sleep

ReplyDeleteI appreciate all of your thoughts above. For you consideration (from my devotions this AM), when Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, yes, He was crying out, "Help Me, God". But then His prayer shifted to what was the will of God which was the salvation of the world. This, too, had become Jesus heart's desire because of His practice of prayer. With His heart set on that He proceeded to face the circumstances and lot God had placed Him in to carry out God's plan. What is the lot of your life in the present time? What are your circumstances for now? Are these by the hand of the Father according to His will which is the salvation of the world? Are these present circumstances and lot in life for the purpose of the message of salvation being lived out in you which God is using to bring salvation to those around you? If you agree, then, in the same spirit that was in Jesus, rise up and carry on for the sake of someone's salvation and for the salvation of the world in which you do play a part. May your prayers, may all of our prayers, make the same shift as they did with Jesus, from "Help me, God" to "let the message of salvation be experienced through me in the present circumstance You have place me". God desires to save someone through your presence and faithfulness even now that's why you are where you are. Do not lose sight of that as you go forth into the day God has set for you to His glory.
ReplyDeleteBob, thank you for sharing this powerful word. What you said will be my prayer today. "Help me, God to let the message of salvation be experienced through me in the present circumstance You have placed me." I will live today with the intention that Yes, God is using me.
DeleteLike what is said here Bob. Got me thinking... it is interesting that Jesus' thought/prayer process was the opposite of mine. First He recognizes His humanity by asking for things to pass but then He moves to the big picture and asks for the Father's will not His. I find I pray: "God, I want Your plan and look at how we can do good if You will answer me my way.
DeleteJesus: His human desires yield to the Father's will
Us/me: Father's will can yield to my selfish desires.
I end up at His will only after futility and the "rough steep path" drives me there! May we pray like Jesus EVERY prayer and our hearts continue to grow to be more like the Son. Amen.
Your message here really helps me. Thanks Bob. KS
DeleteAmen, amen, amen Bob! I sincerely take hold of your last paragraph and invite the Holy Spirit to let His will be done! Thank You for the insight!
DeleteMaplewood NJ
Bob I believe we were chosen to belong to Him and to carry out a part of His salvation plan. I am happy to tell anyone with an open and hungry heart about the joy and peace I have in Christ. I am not ashamed of my faith and I try very hard to stand strong on the Rock that never crumbles. I can relate to what MadFox said because I very well know my human frailties but I also know that the strength of my faith has opened up the hearts of some people to Christ as their Savior, especially those in my Bible group and the nursing home I had been playing in for
Delete18 years . Our Father uses us for so we must be willing to go out of our comfort zone to serve Him and up some pretty steep hills to serve Him. But in this time of isolation it is difficult to carry on His good work. I sure want Him to someday say to me: Good and faithful servant. But I know I am far from being a “Samuel” and pray to have his devoted heart of love and total commitment. I am still a work in progress but each day I try to grow closer to Him. He is indeed with me and I am blessed and Comforted by that truth.
Amen! Holy Spirit, Let Thy will be done.
Amen
DeleteGood morning our dear sister Jeanne. I liked reading what you you shared with us about your past and current experience. I too have had the same thoughts about how can I do God's work during this time of isolation. I take care of my mom full time, but I'm also taken care of in this season so wonderfully and provided for so it doesn't feel like serving. I try to think of words or Biblical truths to share with people, but they really have to have open ears for me to be any good at that and often it blows up. You do really good and faithful work here every day and you add much love, care, and guidance for us in your sharing of your firm faith.
DeleteIt seems like this theme of saying "help me Jesus" is often recurring here throughout the year so it is something God really wants us to know. You bless us with your humble faith and affirmation that you know He is with you. God Bless You. Love, Kathy
Dear Kathy! You just poured so much brilliant sunlight into my day with your kind words and generous spirit. Your Mom is blessed to have you by her side taking good care of her. God equips us for the missions He sets before us. I am so sure you are a beacon to your good mother and you add much joy to her heart every day. God will put people who need Jesus on your path and when He does, His spirit will feed you the words to share His message of truth and your faith. Sending a big hug to you and praying you and your Mom will be healed of all your weaknesses of body, mind and spirit. Wishing you a bright and happy day in His presence and peace.
DeleteJeanne and Kathy, you are both faithful servants of the Lord and He loves you both very much ❤.
DeleteDear Janet. Thank you. We are all loved dearly. So blessed we are sisters!
DeleteThank you BOB, for U turning me. I am now completing my prayer request with, ...and above all else, let the message of salvation be EXPERIENCED through me in the present circumstance and situation in which You have placed me". AMEN
DeleteOmgoodness. 1. Keep my faith and trust Jesus even in the wind (Peter). 2. I've never prayed specifically for my circumstances and faith through them to bring about an experience of salvation in others. It is certainly where God has placed me.
DeleteThank you God π
ReplyDeleteThank you Bob for helping my insite to be focused back on Jesus I'm not on the wind Matthew 8:26B. Thank you for reminding me that there is nothing we will experience in this life that Jesus did not.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mr Payton for creating Bible tags Jesus calling years ago that it is still set up that I can look forward to it every day of my life paying your life is better than it was 6 years ago. Praying that there is a miraculous testimony regarding this prayer this day in 2013
ReplyDeleteHelp me, Jesus. I want to see the world through Your eyes. Make me a channel of Your ♥ love. Bless others through me. Protect us from the evil one. Cover us with the Armor of God.
ReplyDeleteThank You Lord for another gifted day. Thank You for Your love so great that You sent Your Son Jesus into the world to die for me. Thank You for the people in my life. I pray Your blessings upon each of them. I give You my best moments today and invite Your Spirit to take over.
ReplyDeleteThank You that my today is so much better then the last two because of Your faithfulness and my choice to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus and not what is/was hanging over me. I take hold of Your word in Isaiah 43:1-3 today and say THANK YOU Lord.
Scripture tells me in Revelation 15:3-4 "Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty, just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of saints. Who shall nor fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify The name? For Thou only art holy, for all nations shall come and worship before Thee, for The judgment are made manifest",
and Ecclesiastes 12:13 "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man".
As true believers, we know that we know with all of our heart that God the Father is real and above ALL things. The God of the Bible is not One of an excess of god's which we can pick and choose to worship nor is He to be put on par with other deities. God is the omnipotent Creator and redemer of mankind. We truly worship a great God, Everlasting Father and King above all gods.
My Bible also tells me that in the end, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all! So Father, this morning, I say thank You for this promise and all others.
Though problems, pain and circumstances may arise, I know I have Jesus! Thank You for knowing my weaknesses and meeting me in each one of them. I behold Your face today!
Blessings and Peace to all today and always.
Maplewood NJ
Amen dear Maplewood, Our God is real and ever present, and in our midst. He loves us so much He gave us His only Begotten Son. And in Jesus we are made complete. We will fear no one because He fights our battles. No trial is too great when He is walking through it with us. He is above all things and knows all things. He understands the words of our heart like none other. He is our constant Helper and the One who lights our wilderness. He is the Way Maker. We can do all things through Him and His strength.
DeleteAmen ABC, "Help me Jesus" to focus on You and not get distracted by this world that threatens to separate me from Your Love. Thank You for the Blessed Assurance that You are mine.
Amen! Thank you Jesus for the promises of your Father and the gift of the Holy Spirit! Please help me to practice strength of thought that grasps the realty of your promises and puts aside any fear or worry that I will experience great pain or suffering in this world. Your suffering is beyond comprehenson to me, I pray that I am worthy and strong in absolute faith. I ask in your name, Jesus.
DeleteAmen Audra. Our present suffering is nothing compared to the glory set before us. Hold onto His promises. You are so worthy as His beloved daughter. Keep following hard after righteousness even in your imperfection. We are all so flawed and yet completely and unconditionally loved. How blessed we are.
DeleteAmen Amen Amen
DeleteDear Lord, Help me to use the words "help me Jesus" as my breath throughout the day. Help me to remember the old adage, "you never promised a life without trials and hardships, but you did promise that you would be with me every step of the way". For that I am grateful. Amen.
ReplyDeleteABC - "you never promised a life without trials and hardships, but you did promise that you would be with me every step of the way". AMEN!!!! Clinging to His PROMISE!!
DeleteYes! Sassy Mom I am clinging to his promise.
DeleteAmen Sassy Mom!
DeleteI had a most blessed time in devotions this AM; the Lord took it a different direction than usual. He caught my attention in the life of an individual that is honored this day in the Catholic tradition, St Josephine Bakhita. I did a search to read about her life. Quite a story. Thumbnail sketch: born in the Sudan, kidnapped and sold into slavery at age 9, suffered greatly from cruel and harsh individuals that owned her, eventually bought by a kindly Italian family, placed under the care of the Canossian sisters, learned of the love of God, embraced Jesus Christ, remained in the convent after being declared free of slavery, lived out her days glorifying and praising God giving thanks for being kidnapped for she saw in it that it ultimately led her to loving her Lord Jesus Christ.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the time in my meditation was spent in looking at those regrets and unfortunate experiences in my life. I saw them in a new light for through them my Lord drew me to Himself and brought about things that might never had happened were it not for those times in my life. I gave thanks for the first time in my life for some of those experiences that had happened. There was peace.
A quote from St Josephine Bakhita: "The whole of my life has been God's gift, men, His instruments; thanks to them for providing me the gift of faith."
Be blessed this day, JC Family! With love, Bob
Bob, Your devotion last year led you to have true gratitude for your difficult experiences and to realize a true peace.
DeleteMay we rejoice and give thanks to Him for our hardships and tribulations because He calls us closer to Him, as He strengthens our faith.
Amen. I love your writings and explanation of the Bible. Thank you for being a blessing in my life.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome. It is a privilege to be a blessing in your life that is why I share my experiences with God.

DeleteThank you all for prayers; you are in mine. Many times I whisper your names to Jesus to keep you and yours safe. I trust my Lord and Savior and will let go and let God. It's heartbreaking but our family is praying and we are ever so close keeping in touch with each other as we do here in this holy ground and that in itself brings me great peace and comfort. May God give us the strength to carry on to simply trust him through it all. He loves us so very much. JESUS help us! AMEN and AMEN!

I ask that You would do that today. Save us from the things that we fear will harm us. Thank You that You are our rear guard and You have always got our backs. Help us to trust You and not our own strength. I ask this in the Miracle Working Name of Jesus AMEN and AMEN Isaiah 52:12 "You shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard."

ReplyDeleteHappy to give update on my daughter Denise's one year old dog Chanel who woke up yesterday (Sunday AM) with hind quarters completely paralyzed. Late on Sunday evening Denise called with update on Chanel while shedding tears of praise and thankfulness .... 30 minutes after giving Chanel the prescribed medicine she lifted her little head and perked up for the first time. Denise took her outside and Chanel stood up on all 4's and took a few wobbly steps. She also did her potty duties for the first time which she was unable to do early that morning. Thank You Jesus! So happy to give another Victory in Jesus report.
ReplyDeleteHalleluia for more answered prayers! Wonderful news Sassy Mom. So happy little Chanel stood up on her 4 legs and actually walked. I'd say that's nothing short of a miracle. Thank You, Jesus. Praying for more good news, especially from Brie and Larry. God bless you and your family, NJS. Dear MadFox, Praying your treatment is tolerable and believing that your transplant will go fine. The Lord is with you always. We love you!!

ReplyDeleteJesus help me for I do get caught up in the sea of circumstances. Thank you for understanding my weakness and my need to just say "Jesus". Lord you know how many times a day I can only respond with your name. People may think I'm saying it as a curse word, but you know my heart and the desperation behind my tone of voice. Lord if anyone truly feels I'm missing using your name if I need to do something different or say something to them please let me know. Otherwise I'm leaving it in your hands where all my problems and concerns lie. Thank you Lord for always being there for me. Please go into every situation that concerns the hearts of those who reads this blog. Show that you are true to your promises and that your mercy and love are never ending for us .

My orthopedic surgeon was surprised that I took no medication & only natural supplements that included turmeric, hence, no arthritis π. I'm healing, MRI Friday will tell how much. Down to one crutch. God has His special plans for you. He is already preparing your day so stay blessed and remain hopeful. Much love.
Dex Monday night, now Tuesday! It's 1a.m. and been perusing JC and read thru this day's past postings. It's a common lament, and so easy to focus on a problem or "the" problem of the hour. Usually, the journey then pivots to negative rocky paths. Just saying 'Jesus' or 'Help me Jesus' seems so contrary to our logic... yet, why not utter or think the words? Does not a parent respond to a cry for help by their child? Why would the Father, as Jesus and Spirit too, not hear and respond to your call as well?
ReplyDeleteThe answer is that He will! It may be to calm your fear, it may be provisioning an exit to the rough path on the journey that you didn’t notice. It may be that your fear is appropriate and He is there as your Comforter as you engage the steep path (challenge). But He is there, here, everywhere... that's the logic issue that we often stumble upon. I am so frustrated that so often I don't stop the situation, and just say, "Help me Father, Son, and Spirit." Realistically, I know He is there; but how sad that He has to tell me that I could benefit from realizing in the moment, that seeking, no calling Him, will unequivocally improve my circumstances. Pray you πΆ Call upon the Lord πΆ today! Godspeed. In Him.
Thanks Madfox. I needed that.
DeleteThank you for helping me God, Father, Son, Spirit, to get Keith to safety when he passed out today. In Jesus' Name, I praise. I thank. Amen.
DeleteThank you MadFox, I too get frustrated at myself that I forget the power behind that those words, "help me Jesus"!
DeleteDear Brie, so sorry for Keith's mishap. I covered him & your Larry early this morning in the warroomππ
DeleteDear Jeanne, your Rick was covered too, along with Daughter of a king for Missy's recovery and the whole JC family. You are all precious in the Lord and to meπππ
DeleteI, too, needed those words you've offered, MadFox. While I know that when I have called on Him for help, how instantaneous I feel an exhale of sorts and yet I often forget somehow to ask for that help, subconsciously or even consciously thinking I can figure this out or get through this or that on my own. Reminding myself of asking with all things is so key. He is everywhere, like you said. May I call upon Him throughout my day!
DeleteSo sorry to hear Keith passed out, Brie. Continuing prayers for Keith, you, and Larry, sweet-sister.
Thanks dear MadFox. Praying He is restoring you and strengthening you in all ways. I find myself calling out to Jesus often in my day. Jesus, I need You. He is always there. I thank Him often too. We must stay in His presence to receive His help and blessings.
DeletePraying for God’s strength and healing for dear Keith and for your strength and peace, dear Brie. And for Missy’s healing from Covid. A friend, Nat needs prayers. She got biopsies on 2 lumps in her breast. The results will come in today. Thank You Father for answering our prayers and May the lumps be benign and thank you for continuing to heal Missy, MadFox, Rick, Keith, Mayda and Emilio, and all our JC Family and loved ones and to guide our steps and words and thoughts in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen
Jesus, Remind us to stay in Your presence and peace and to thank You even in our valley times when You are testing our faith.
Balm to my soul, MadFox, as I head to bed, so incredibly tired. I spent time in His Word this morning and prayed for all of you. Thank you for those words (Words) of wisdom. Praying for you, daily. DH's appt got postponed - again, due to weather. Now it's 2/17. More time to pray!

ReplyDeleteKeep your focus on Jesus and you won’t sink in any situation. So many times during the day I call out: Help Me Jesus, or Jesus, I need you. Immediately He returns to the forefront of my mind and again reigns in my heart. Then things go better. He’s always waiting to hear our voice call out to Him. But He also wants us to include Him in the sweet moments when we’re so content and grateful that we say. Thank You Lord, You are so good to me.
ReplyDeleteLying beside my beautiful sleeping grandson, my heart is full of joy and gratitude. Little Gabriel was just thrilled to have a sleepover with us. He kept saying I love you Nani and I love you Grandpa. Rick and I just looked at each other and smiled. God is so good. Looking forward to spending precious time with my Mom and sister in Brooklyn till Friday when I’ll be taking my sister back home with me for one night and then to the airport on Saturday. She’s flying back to Missouri to be with her good husband. I sure will miss her and my Mom will be lonely. From now on I want to see my mother every week so she doesn’t get depressed without Janet there. GOD will make a way for me. Trusting Him to guide me every day to bring light into her life and to heal me and give me strength. May He lead us all to bring our problems to Him and keep our focus on Him. He is the God Who hears us. He watches out for us. His Eye is on the Sparrow and I know He watches me. Thank You, Jesus.
Psalm 32:8 - I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalms 139:1-2 - LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
Psalms 33:18 - Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
Psalms 34:15 - The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
Amen Jeanne π.
DeleteBut in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37). They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 1:19).
ReplyDeleteAmen!
DeleteRepent therefore and be converted, that your sins might be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. (Acts 3:19).
ReplyDeleteHeavenly Father, thank You. I praise You Lord always and bless Your holy name π π. Thank You Jesus. May I always seek refuge in Your loving arms Lord. Let my heart burn with desire for You Lord, all the days of my life. You are so amazing! In Jesus name, I pray, Amen π.

ReplyDelete"When you feel yourself sinking in the sea of circumstances, say “Help me, Jesus!"
ReplyDeleteI've often wondered what would have happened if things had played out differently, if Apostle Peter hadn't gotten afraid after seeing the wind. If, instead he continued walking on water to Jesus.
I find it truly amazing that he got out the boat and did walk on water for a time anyway.
But Peter did what we all do, took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the wind (and waves) - looked at the circumstances around him.
I did that just before reading today's Jesus Calling. The car needs fixing, broken appliances need replacing. I looked at my circumstances and felt a little knot of fear in my stomach. Then, ( should have been first not after) I looked to the Lord. He said, "Do what you need to do, trust Me in all things My child" So with a gladdened heart and no fear I'm getting on with what needs to be done. All is well. Thank You Lord.
Amen dear Peter! Keep your eyes on the Lord and all things will come together for good.
DeleteThank you thank you! Jeanne, Janet, SC anonymous and Peter for helping me start this day off with faith, hope and gratitude- today’s JC really hit the spot . Blessings π
ReplyDeleteOn Continual Replay Today: "Help me, God to let the message of Your Salvation be experienced through me in the way I am living out the present circumstance in which You have placed me". Delete**Posting from Wed Night**
ReplyDeleteThank you for your prayers today. My stomach healed; I got more rest and was able to eat some good food. We went to our little GS's basketball game and my Best Man took a spill trying to get in the car. Fell on his face, again. There were people there to help me get him up. His head was bleeding; he had a huge bump and his elbow and side/back hurt. I had already eaten and he wasn't hungry before the game, but he wanted me to drive through KFC for a chicken pot pie. I asked if he still wanted it and he did so we ran through there. Our son, next door, met us in the driveway and he helped me get him in. We got him settled, his head cleaned up; his knee cleaned up and I warmed up his food. Then we called our good Dr. who said that we didn't need to worry about the carotid surgery being effected and as long as I wake him up every two hours and he responds, I can take him into the office tomorrow and he'll decided whether or not x-rays are needed.
Of course, we had prayed immediately. Our little GS texted us to say that he, his brother and Daddy were praying right then. The youngest cried (our son told us later when he came over); he is our little tender-heart. But - 3 hours later, DH is doing well. He's sleeping in his recliner and I'm sleeping on the couch by him and have my alarm set for ever 2 hours. Thank You, Father for protecting my one, true love - again. Thank you, JC Family for your prayers. I'll put this up for tomorrow, too so that anyone who misses this post is sure to see the one in the morning. Love and God's Best to all of you. Tonight's events seem like the 'Rest of the Story,' to this mornings devotion.
Romans 8:28
Amplified Bible (AMP)
We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.
**And I'll add the first line from Feb 8th**
I AM above all things: your problems, your pain, and the swirling events in this ever-changing world.
Norah, lifting your husband up first thing this Thursday morning. Praying that today will go well and no X-ray will be needed. Praying that you both will get some much needed rest today. I took a screen shot of the last line of your post. I then saved it to the notes section of my phone as it deserves to be often referenced.

So sorry to hear this, Norah. joining SC and our JC family in prayer that while a bit bruised, your Best Man will check out just fine today at the doctor's office. Hope you two take a much needed nap today after waking every two hours last night!
DeletePraying for you Norah, hubby and family, healing, His Presence and Peace enfold you all.
DeleteJoining in prayer for you and your Best Man. I'm sure he'll be sore today but asking our Great Physician to heal his aches and pains and cover you both with His Peace.
DeleteHands lifted in prayer for you and your best Man. Norah
DeleteAs are mine!
DeleteThank You Father for healing Nurse Michelle and resolving all her problems and healing and comforting Keith and healing Norah’s DH completely and my sister Janet’s knees and little Eli and Indi and SC’s sister in law and all of our weaknesses and grant us all traveling mercies and protection in the Name of Christ Jesus. You are our Way Maker and our Great Physician so we trust in your mercy and faithfulness. We love you and know You love us. We belong to you. Your Spirit bears witness that we are Your children. We are blessed.
ReplyDeletePsalm 33:4
For the word of the Lord is right,
And all His work is done in truth.
Jeremiah 17:14
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.
Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; and in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by. I will cry out to God Most High, to God who performs all things for me. He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth His mercy and His truth. (Psalm 57:1-3).
ReplyDeleteAMEN! Blessed
DeleteAmen to that. He will make all things right. Seeking, Trusting and Waiting.
DeleteMy fave part of Matthew 14 is, "Jesus IMMEDIATELY reached out..."

ReplyDeleteWe believe God is who He says He is, and we ARE who He says we are! (Too many Scripture references to list. What does that tell you?) ✝️♥️π
ReplyDeleteAmen Audra! How Great Thou Art! And we are well taken care of! Hallelujah!
ReplyDeleteLong. Long. Long night and day, but ALL IS WELL! Dear Brie, I am sure the ONLY reason I woke up every 2 hours is because you were praying with me! DH and I woke up at 2, 4 and 6....all is well. Today, my DH had 10 (!) x-rays: NO broken bones, fractures or bleeds. ALL IS WELL. Our bed is made: clean sheets, new comforter and pillows all set. We are well fed; so, very loved and we thank ALL OF YOU for your prayers. WHAT A 24-HR period when we can thank God, for all of His blessings. EXHAUSITPATED, as my dear sister would say - ha ha...but so thankful.
ReplyDeleteSleep sweet, dear JC Family & thank you for your prayers! Praying for all that I read....God is on the Night Watch!
Praise π The Lord! For your update, Norah!
DeleteAmen! Praise Him From Whom All Blessings Flow! So happy your DH is doing well and you got so much done and feel God’s blessings. Get some rest now dear Norah and you too, dear Brie! Love you!
