Jesus Calling: April 4

    I meet you in the stillness of your soul. It is there that I seek to commune with you. A person who is open to My Presence is exceedingly precious to Me. My eyes search to and fro throughout the earth, looking for one whose heart is seeking Me. I see you trying to find Me; our mutual search results in joyful fulfillment.
    Stillness of soul is increasingly rare in this world addicted to speed and noise. I am pleased with your desire to create space where you and I can meet. Don't be discouraged by the difficulty of achieving this goal. I monitor all your efforts and am blessed by each of your attempts to seek My Face.

Zechariah 2:13
English Standard Version
Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.

2 Chronicles 16:9
New King James Version
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.

Psalm 23:2-3
New King James Version
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

My Prayer
Heavenly Father, sometimes I need to just stop. I need to halt and not be so busy with so many different things. Remind me that I need times of lying down, and being beside still waters, for you to restore my soul. Sometimes when I am busy my world gets cloudy with so many different inputs and I put you aside. I want to be a loyal follower. I don't want to be inconsistent. Help me to be more silent and turn off the TV, my phone, and everything that distracts me day in and day out. I want to sit on your path and enjoy Your presence.

I am sitting in front of a place that is empty in Boise patiently waiting for someone to come by so I can get contact info. Please pray for Brandy to get a home. I am waiting because I believe. God bless you.

  3. Lord I don't want to have to sit on a secluded beach somewhere to have to find Stillness and peace. Help me and show me how to find that Stillness and peace right in the midst of my typical busy day. I want to have Jesus time throughout the day because every time I find it I find peace and rest no matter what is going on around me. I know you will speak to me and I know you will give me rest. I just have to make the move. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to find rest anytime anywhere anyplace. You are amazing!

  4. Lord thank you for being patient with me. There was a time when I was easily distracted. I tried to sit still and read your word. So many times I had to go away run away to hear your voice. And when I did you are always there feeling me with your spirit and guiding me. Looking back now I see why you have taken me from that place and brought me here. As I now sit every morning disciplining myself in a beauty once I recognize the importance of doing this. If I do not receive my daily bread and your living water I just cannot begin my day. You have revealed to me the importance of this special time together. I like a student going to college I know the importance of studying for something that is so much better than any degree that the world can offer. Thank you for your patience with walking with me day by day week by week and helping me get to this place. I never thought I could get to this place. But I have. And again you have been so patient with me. I beg I beg I beg of you that you continue to use me as your servant because I love you so much and you have done so much for me. I do not know how anybody can survive without you. Cuz I certainly cannot even take a breath without the knowledge of your love and peace. And Lord I would also like to take this time to pray for that awful situation on YouTube with that woman shooter. I pray for that woman's family and the pain that they must be feeling. What a lost soul she must have been. The wickedness in the sin that people get lost in. The bondage that keeps them away from you and causes them to do such evil out of such desperation. All we can do Lord is look up to you and know that this is also part of your plan. All those people involved I pray will find you and you will be glorified. I say this in Jesus name amen

  5. This morning I was practically begging to experience God's presence, and finally realized that I was already in it but taking for granted the characteristics that proved this. Once realized, I then rested and appreciated His blessings which are easily forgotten.

  6. So enjoying the sweet stillness of this morning. It's peaceful, quiet and I can absorb Your Word and Presence, which I know if it's ever missing, I am the one who has moved, not You. Yesterday afternoon, I was able to enjoy this stillness mentioned in JC. It came under the guise (at first) of not feeling well. I rested, took care of myself, was quiet. Today, my health is restored. Thank you, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, for all of my loved ones. Thank you for helping me put away my worries and concerns and look to you for my answers, knowing full well, that our needs will be met, as always. That my children and grands are protected and blessed. That you know our/their every need and have so generously provided. Prayers for all of my JC Family. Enjoy this blessed day.

  8. Thank you Jesus for my "war room". Our private place to do battle for my family, friends & JC community. I claim Ephesians 6 as my choice of weapons to defeat the forces of darkness that war against us. Lead the way Lord in the battle against strongholds of tobacco addiction in my two sons. They both know it's wrong but they can't seem to break free of it! Help them Lord to find their way out of this captivity. Break the chains of this stronghold in Jesus name! Amen!

How important it is to be still with the Lord. Beginning a day in this fashion with prayer and meditation on the word arms us with the armor of Christ to battle the enemy. I pray that I am sensitive to my words and actions to others today that all I do reflects the love of Christ that lives in me. I am at peace this morning by the grace of God.

  12. After reading everyone's posts from yesterday and absorbing the beauty of the Word provided by each of you, I humbly go to bed with a peaceful heart. So many words of wisdom, of praise and of thankfulness are written on this blog. I am thankful to be able to read them and take in all of the beauty, simplicity and joy that You have provided.
    Tomorrow is Saturday, and I will enjoy the stillness of waking up whenever I want and once again applying Your Word to my life, and that of our family needs.
    I pray for my Daughter In Love and the recovery she is experiencing. Father, give her not only the strength to regain recovery but the acknowledgment that it comes from You. Let her see her goodness and tenacity to never give up. Bless my son as the takes care of her and my daughter for helping. Let them see Your love in their midst.
    Praying for my sister in law (love), who is walking the tightrope of life...give her peace as she decides which way she wants to go and give all of us, her family, the grace to let her decide.
    Praying for all of you, my JC Family, who selflessly provide the Word to us each day, as you study, as you give thanks. It means the world to me - even when it has taken me 18 hours to catch up. God Bless each of you - Bob (your Lenten messages have meant so much), Maplewood, your steadfast thankfulness. Every. Single. Day. Such faithfulness to wake up rejoicing and thankful leaves me in awe. Sassy Mom, JJ, Jan, MadFox, CO, Fern, Loveconquersall - I look for your posts, your prayers, your victories. If I've left out your name, it's only because I'm tired, but trust me, I cherish each of your posts and the hearts you share.
    I will wake up tomorrow and read again and give thanks for the day and pray that...maybe, no - absolutely, I will start to make order of the clutter and chaos that is trying to reign in our home. God, give me the strength and discipline to start getting rid of this excess and make order in the rooms of our home.
    Praying for relief from this Pandemic; healing for those sick, mercy and grace to keep us all safe. Prayers for our former Pastor's Mom, who is infected with COVID-19 and struggling. And for our local Physician who has also contracted the virus and is in ICU. Be with them, Father and heal them or release them from their pain, in the name of Jesus. Christ.

Thank you for healing them and restoring them to perfect health so they can continue to serve You with renewed strength of body and spirit. Thank you for healing all your people who are suffering and dry the tears of all those who have lost loved ones. Encourage all those who are living in fear from the media and who are depressed, discouraged and lonely. Protect your heroes on the frontline who are trying to help us survive. Give us all courage and strength of faith, and your wisdom to make right decisions. Thank you for this new day. Let it be a productive one to glorify you. Protect us and all our loved ones from this virus. End the hardship and bring us into the golden day when people will be united in faith, rejoicing, thanksgiving and fellowship. We ask this in the powerful name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

    5. Great devotion for today. Sometimes we try to glorify but it doesn't go as well as we planned. I loved reading: "I monitor all your efforts and am blessed by each of your attempts to seek My Face." God gives us a star on our forehead just for trying to please Him. The prayer sure did talk to me. Lately I have been trying to do way too much for Easter and I wanted to sing every night. Tonight I was the only choir member again at the Saturday vigil. But I was so blessed to see so many young people getting baptized and confirmed. Hope all of my family get a little extra rest. We serve Him better when we are refreshed and renewed. He knows that and He urges me to go to sleep.

  15. Heavenly Father, I thank for the gift of another day. I ask for the strength we need, moment by moment. Thank You for being as approachable as You are and making it easy for me to loosen my grip on all the earthly things of this world and tighten my grip on You. I pray this in Jesus’name.

    “I meet you in the stillness of your soul”. Well, with what’s going on now, God’s got the attention of many and rightfully so. It’s sad how it will take a crisis like this to get His children’s attention to be still in their souls. Yes, God knows stillness of the soul seems hard to achieve in a social media, modern technology, busy world! Nevertheless, God is always searching this earth looking for His children who are attempting to seek Him. He knows it can be difficult, but we can do “all things through Christ who strengthens us” and when God sees our efforts, it gives Him great pleasure! 2 Chronicles states: “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him..”. He desires a relationship with us, a relationship that consist of constant 2-way communication. God wants to talk to us and wants us to be receptive. He wants us to find the quiet time and space for Him. After all, we make time for so many other unnecessary things and activities. There is so much to His incredible creation that He wants us to enjoy and experience, but most importantly to spend time feeding in His Word because He speaks through it. King David cried in Psalm 62:5, “My soul, wait thou only upon God…” God marvels at the quietness of our hearts and this doesn’t only mean silently, it implies stillness. Prayer, meditation, trusting God, are all part of stillness.

    Dear Father, Please help our capacity for receiving You to grow each day in the stillness of our soul. You have designed us to be filled with all Your heavenly gifts. Fill us with joy, peace and love today, In Jesus’s name.

    Wishing all a blessed and fruitful Saturday.

    1. I agree with you, Maplewood, NJ, what a sad commentary on human nature it is that it takes a crisis to get our attention and we are all guilty to one degree or another. The comment from today's JC reading, "in this world addicted to speed and noise" resonated within me, how this crisis has brought all of that to a screeching halt. Am I seeing the hand of God at work for the good of His creation? If so, I humble myself before the Lord and confess that I am as guilty of that as well. Lord, have mercy.

  16. Thank you dear Maplewood for that beautiful prayer. It is God's desire that all should come to him in true faith, holiness, trust and thanksgiving. Let us be open to Him so he can fill every part of us with the joy and peace of believing, and his great love and peace so we can share it and lead others to Him every day. May He take all of our fears, worries and grief into rejoicing. Thanking Him for his faithfulness in our lives and also thanking Him for my dear JC Family who never fails to fill me up with joy and encouragement. Be strong and hopeful. God is greater than this Pandemic and He will not disappoint.

    3. Peace to you, Jeanne. Many years ago my family asked me to perform a service for my grandmother who I loved dearly. I thought, "How could I, I am so grieved at her passing?" Then God spoke to me and said, "I have called you to do this service for the sake of the family. Set not your heart on what you will not have; rather set your heart in gratitude for what you did have and will have again." From that perspective, I was able to do the funeral. I have kept that in mind whenever I lose someone who is dear to me, be filled with gratitude and have anticipation for that which is to come. God be with you.

  19. "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me." (Psalm 51:10)

    (Matthew 12:33-37) Surrounding Jesus are people singing His praise for the love He is showing and the healing that results. Over to the side stand the religious leaders mumbling and grumbling about everything they are seeing. Jesus takes the moment to point out a great truth. "Words reflect the condition of the heart within much like a tree that produces either good or bad fruit according to its inner health. Good hearts will express words that proclaim the Kingdom of heaven and edify others; bad hearts will speak words that will seek to manipulate any situation to their advantage. There will come the day that all hearts will be seen clearly for what they hold dear. Those who have spoken words to gain selfish advantage will be exposed for their evil intent but those who truly have sought God will be affirmed. Fruit, a.k.a. words, are a telltale sign of a person's heart."

    The joy of this blog (thank you paytonfamily) is listening to pure hearts express themselves. The level of profundity is not important and we should not judge our words against another. What is the blessing every person brings is words honestly spoken from the single desire of loving God. The number of replies any post receives are not an indicator of a good or bad post. Every post I have read is a blessed post because it comes from an honest desire to embrace God. (There was one post awhile back that criticized another's post but MadFox straightened matters out with a perfect response.) So, thank you, for your posts, each and everyone of you. Whether or not I reply does not indicate if I was or was not blessed by your opening up of your heart. You showed me your heart and it is beautiful because it is filled with a pure intention to love God and that is always a blessing.

    "Create in me a clean heart, O God..." and thank you for the clean heart You have created in each of my brothers and sisters who come together in this blog and share their love of you.

    With love, Bob

    4. Happy Easter Bob, Thank you always for your insight and instruction. You share so much of your heart with us and I really appreciate that. As I have gotten older I stop and think more before I speak because words have consequences and we must speak to lift and encourage as much as possible. 22. Nora tried to list those who post regularly. My wife and I try to make this blog a daily part of our lives because so many are blessed by our dear Lord with a talent to post from a heart filled with the love of God. It would be so fulfilling to be able to meet each one of you in person. We'll just have to wait for the fulfillment of his promise to gather in His Glory.
    God, thank you for this virtual gathering of believers. My hope is in You and that many, even those that don't post, will be blessed by the out-flowing of love expressed here. In Jesus name, Roger

      Let the holy anthem rise,
      And the choirs of heaven chant it
      In the temple of the skies;
      Let the mountains skip with gladness,
      And the joyful valleys ring
      With Hosannas in the highest
      To our Savior and our King.

      2 Alleluia! Alleluia!
      Like the sun from out the wave,
      Christ has risen up in triumph
      From the darkness of the grave,
      Glorious splendor of the nations,
      And the lamp of endless day;
      Christ the very Lord of glory
      Who is risen up today.

      3 Alleluia! Alleluia!
      Christ has burst our prison bars;
      And has lifted up the portals
      Of our home beyond the stars;
      Now is won for us our freedom,
      Wounded feet our foes have trod;
      Now is purchased back our birthright
      To the kingdom of our God.

      4 Alleluia! Alleluia!
      Blessed Jesus, make us rise
      From the life of this corruption
      To the life that never dies.
      May your glory be our portion
      When the days of time are past,
      And the dead shall be awakened
      By the trumpet's mighty blast.

  27. JC'S devo today feels, as if it was written specificly to my situation! I'm comforted by the message. And, it should provide peace for me and you. Psalm 23:3- 4: "He guides me along the right paths for His name's sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me."

    Today is Easter and I'm in a hospital bed, far from home with no friends or family allowed to visit me due to the pandemic and my compromised immune system. The recovery is slow as the body was jarred by an extreme chemo and the stem cells collected need to move to my marrow so that the new blood cells can be created and cancer cells eradicated. Any cancerous cells that weren't killed by the chemo, hopefully will be by the new revitalized blood and immune system. Day 11 in the hospital with up to 4 or 5 pmore days.

    Two themes cross my mind. The first is the trememdous faith and courage of Jesus. As a human, He endured simply brutal and unfathomable pain. Since God has extended His Hand to all, then He will take you through your journey of pain  regardless of the circumstamces. He understands our struggle with pain and death since He lived and died.

    The other theme is restoration. The fact that today is Easter 2021, gives me hope that restoration is at hand both physically and spiritually. I have hope and gratitude in the talented doctors, nurses, and team. On this Easter, I celebrate that I'm being brought back to health with the love of His support team (you peeps reading this).

    I'm doing well. No news is good news and doc visits are still shorter signifying I'm doing as expected and then some. My family is grateful for all thar you're doing during rhis unusual time. Godspeed. Happy Easter!  AMEN.

I pray you have looked out your window today at the beautiful day He gave us as our best Easter gift. When I pray for you, I always think of you as receiving God's healing every day in exactly the way the Lord wants to improve you. I see you getting stronger and closer to a recovery that will amaze the doctors. Thank You Jesus for making this possible.
      Just as He endured so much pain out of love for us and His Father, you too, dear faithful servant, must endure your hardship and carry your cross until you are resurrected into a new renewed body. Praying every cancer cell will be destroyed and replaced by healthy tissue. You will be a walking testimony of God's faithfulness and the power of prayer. I have no doubt that when you leave that hospital, there will be a small army of believers because they have been blessed to witness the strength of your unwavering faith. Sending a very gentle hug to you dear brother. The Lord is the best company and He hears every word of your heart. May He comfort and strengthen you, and your good wife and family and give you peace.

  30. RESURRECTION SUNDAY: HE IS RISEN, CHRIST JESUS IS RISEN!

    I serve a risen Savior; He's in the world today.
    I know that He is living, whatever men may say.
    I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer,
    And just the time I need Him He's always near.

    Chorus
    He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
    He walks with me and talks with me
    along life's narrow way.
    He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
    You ask me how I know He lives?
    He lives within my heart.

    In all the world around me I see His loving care,
    And though my heart grows weary I never will despair.
    I know that He is leading, thro' all the stormy blast;
    The day of His appearing will come at last.

    (repeat Chorus)

    Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian! Lift up your voice and sing
    Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ, the King!
    The Hope of all who seek Him, the Help of all who find,
    None other is so loving, so good and kind.
    (repeat Chorus)

    Dear Precious Jesus, Thank you that because of your huge sacrifice and the wounds You bore, we are healed, sin and death have been conquered, we are delivered!
    Thank you that we can say with great Joy, “IT IS FINISHED,” death has lost its sting. We praise and thank You for making all things new.
    Thank You for Your selfless sacrifice on the cross.
    Thank You for Your unconditional, relentless Love.
    Thank You for bringing beauty out of the brokenness of the cross and bestowing on us a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting (Isaiah 61:3). Your sacrifice offers forgiveness for our sins.
    Thank You that the power of Your Resurrection has given us hope for the future.
    Thank You for modeling Forgiveness for us! Because You Live, we can face Tomorrow, the Victory is ours!
    I Love You Lord Jesus!

    HAPPY, BLESSED, PEACFUL and JOYOUS, EASTER/RESURREFTION SUNDAY !

  49. It took me a long time last night to get caught up on this blessed blog. We were without wi-fi for 3 days while on our Family Vacation. When I read today's devotion - it summed it up perfectly! I thank all of you for your prayers for my family's time together. My sweet hubby and I are so very thankful. It is the first time we have all been together for an extended period of time. The camaraderie, working, cooking, cleaning up together. Fires in the outdoor fireplace, laughter in the hot tub (girls' time was filled with laughter), the kiddies running, playing, singing. Our sons and daughter serenading us. The only couple with no children, taking the Littles on hikes, lying on the sofa, reading. Snuggling with our newest granddaughter, making cookies with my daughter & her friend's young daughter. The stories, jokes, celebration and PEACE that God gave us, just knowing where we all were, at the same time, was amazing. No cell phones! Card games, and more food than we could eat. Though my husband & I gave God the credit, there are several who remained quiet, but respectful. After this weekend, I have no doubt that as time passes, our adult offspring will remember why our family is so blessed. That is my prayer. I took today off work too and I'm so glad I did. Hubby and I slept in and woke up smiling, laughing, remembering. We both dreamed about our weekend. I'm so very thankful and I highly recommend a get-away where the phone can't ring with out driving a couple of miles away (which I never did). Again - thank you for your prayers, JC Family. All of you were in mine, in the quiet of the beautiful hills. And they will continue to be. Min Ahadi, all of this was written to your tune of Peace Be Still. Brie's is up next.
    Love and God's best to all of you.

      He meets us in the stillness. But we must consciously seek out the quiet times in our busy days to spend with Him and listen for His voice. He is always there.

  51. Yesterday was such a sweet day and I'm so grateful to have spent special time with my 4 yr old grandson Gabriel. The sweetest part of the day was when we were planting flowers and talking about the beauty of God's creation. He was so excited about planting the seeds so they will grow. He kept saying he hoped the colors of the flowers would be beautiful. We were talking about how God makes the flowers and trees blossom in the Spring and everything is beautiful and new again. I told him God renews and restores us in the Spring too. We feel much happier and more thankful to see all the beauty around us. He really understands. He loves Jesus and that's a blessing to me. God is so good, all the time.

    Psalm 19:1
    The heavens declare the glory of God;
    And the firmament shows His handiwork.

    Psalm 104:24
    O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

    Psalm 104:33
    I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

    4. Nothing better than to be able to talk with a grand about God, Jeanne. So glad you had that time with little Gabriel. I have been out of touch for a bit but have jumped on and read when possible. I was taking care of my 17mth grandson, George, while my daughter, Paula, and my son-in-love, Ben, traveled to Japan for 9 days. Balancing care taking and working was a lot at times but God was with me. He was the one who got me through the toughest days...when I was dragging, He held my hand and pulled me. No doubt. Couldn't have done it without Him. But I did jump on our JC blog posting when possible to read and pray with you all. I should have mentioned and asked for prayers from this awesome warrior family but I didn't, sadly. Little "G" and I (and he's not so little....takes after Paula's side with height/weight...weighing in at 34lbs and just shy of 30" long at this age. Thinking he'll be tall like his momma, grandma "Noni", and great grandfather for whom he's named after.) I did have a great and special time with him, though. He says things with a French accent. Not sure why but it's hilarious. "Eh, no?' or his favorite word, "BasketBALL?" Anyway, by God's awesome grace and His gracious hand over me, I made it through and my grandson still loves me, lol. I thought for sure he'd run away after they returned and I came by for a visit...thinking he had to be tired of Noni, but there he was with open arms "running", Frankenstein style, to me.

      God NEVER ceases to AWE-maze me. When we are weary, He is strong!

      Continued healing prayers, Jeanne, for you and for all in our JC Warrior family and their friends who need healing and restoration; whether it be from a physical, financial, or relationship healing. God has us!

    5. Oh!...forgot to mention, while caring for George, he and I went to my son's house one day and my son asked my granddaughter, Rooney, "Tell Noni what we say at bedtime, Roo." This is my son, Nick, who has been "away" from God since high school (now 33) and who I've been praying to come back to God (& hoping my DIL will as well). Rooney proceeded to recite the prayer I used to say with Nick as a little boy! My heart was so full!

    6. Dear NJS! I am so amazed you cared for your Little “G” for 9 days. As dear Anonymous put it, you filled his memory box, to the brim! He sure will miss his Noni! But the highlight of your update was Roo’s reciting the prayer you used to pray with your son. What a blessing your son has returned to the Lord! It just took a while for those seeds of faith to grow. Praying the same for two of my children and their families. Thanks for your sincere prayers dear sister! I’m doing well by the grace of God and because God hears all the prayers that surround me. We serve a good and faithful God. I continue to hold you tight in my prayers for God to shine bright light on your path and fill you with peace and joy. Much love to you and your family.

      Psalm 34:4–5, 8
      I sought the LORD, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

      Romans 8:28
      And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.

      Joshua 1:9
      "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

  53. Holy week dear ones. May we all take time out of our busy days to reflect on what our dear Savior journeyed through each day of turmoil, betrayal, agony &, then finally the pain & suffering of payment for our debt. I wondered as to what I would've done in that crowd of spectators. Would I have joined the throng in shouts of accusations or would I have wiped His dripping brow &, whispered, "I believe, I believe". Not one of us can really fathom the depth of darkness that gripped the very people He came to save. If only they knew. 🎼Thank you for the cross! Thank You for the cross! Thank You for the cross my Friend! Thank You for the cross! Thank You for the cross! Thank You for the cross my Friend.

    4. Thank you dear Jan! Saved by the Cross and by His blood! Amen This week always brings me so close to Jesus when I think of all He endured for us, out of love and obedience to His Father! And how Peter denied Him 3 times before the cock cried and how His followers scattered. And yes many of the sea of people crying Crucify Him were once His own. May we who know the Truth stand steadfast together on the immovable Rock of Jesus despite the winds of change and opposition that threaten to separate us from His love. We must continue to trust in His promises. We serve a Risen Lord! His Reign is forever and nothing can separate us from His love. Hallelujah!

  56. God meets us in the stillness of our souls. We must find time to rest in His presence and clear out the clutter so He can fill us with His peace. We hear His voice when we open our hearts to Him. I often tell Him I know He is with me. I can't do anything without Him. I know any good work I do or good fruit I produce is for Him and from Him. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Praying for my children to open their hearts to God and trust in His faithfulness so they can receive all God is preparing for them. My middle son was over today. He is trying to take care of his dear wife and two little boys aged 2 and 5. But he lost his job in August and he is getting depressed and frustrated because he tries hard to get a job but he rarely gets an interview. I can tell he is stressed out because his unemployment will be up in a couple of months and life will be much harder. Praying always for God to guide him to the job God has prepared for him. I know he will work very hard when he gets the chance. May God answer all our prayers and give us reasons to rejoice and be glad in our days. Praying dear Norah's DH had a successful treatment yesterday and all will be well. Thank You Father for this and for answering all our prayers and bringing us peace, healing and joy in this new day in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

    Hebrews 10:23
    Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

    Deuteronomy 7:9
    Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.

    Isaiah 25:1
    O Lord, You are my God.
    I will exalt You,
    I will praise Your name,
    For You have done wonderful things;
    Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
