Focus your entire being on My living Presence. I am most assuredly with you, enveloping you in My Love and Peace. While you relax in My Presence, I am molding your mind and cleansing your heart. I am recreating you into the one I designed you to be.
As you move from stillness into the activities of your day, do not relinquish your attentiveness to Me. If something troubles you, talk it over with Me. If you get bored with what you are doing, fill the time with prayers and praise. When someone irritates you, don't let your thoughts linger on that person's faults. Gently nudge your mind back to Me. Every moment is precious if you keep your focus on Me. Any day can be a good day, because My Presence permeates all time.

My Prayer (2022)
Lord, I notice in my life a habit forming of not thinking of You first when I experience trials, difficult situations. Instead, I think of first -- who can I talk with, who will listen to me. Lord, would you re-train me to go to you first? Nudge me back to You. You know everything and yet I too often act like you are a last resort than a first solution. Thank you for placing good people in my life and I do value their words and their listening ear, and I will continue to consult them, but first let me start with You God. Lord, I do ask that I am the person that You see that listens to You and will relax in Your presence.

Heavenly Father, I begin this day asking you to enter my heart, body, soul, mind and my will. Lord, I need you to guide me through this day. Lord, I need you to father me and for me to allow myself to be fathered. I pray that I seek You throughout this day seeking your presence in all that I do. Through your presence I desire for You to mold my mind, cleanse my heart, and guide me to be the person You desire me to be this day.

DeleteJeff, Your prayer really moved me because today I was in need of much loving Fathering and He never left my side. Have a lot of things right now weighing heavily on my mind. But I am releasing them to Him. He already knows them and can handle them.
DeleteThanks Jeff just the prayer I need to start the day 🙏
DeleteSweet sister Jeanne, I am lifting you up in prayer for our Father to wrap you in His loving, ever present and mighty arms. You are such a blessing.

God, create a pure heart in me and make my spirit strong again! And please do the same for my husband and children.
DeleteI am overwhelmed and so touched by our Lord’s love and gracious understanding this morning (Nov 10, 2022) expressed well in advance (5 years earlier on Nov 10, 2017) through His beloved son, Jeff. Today is a continuation of questions about how to discern direction from Papa when others don't seem to have my best interests at heart. Do I respond in kind or do I overlook it? I am so very grateful and relieved for His counsel through you, Jeff and your prayer! Because of you sharing honestly, transparently on Nov 10, 2017 (five years ago) what was on your heart, I have your prayer to pray today Nov 10, 2022. Glory be to God our Father, Christ Jesus my Savior, and Holy Spirit (my Comforter, guide and friend) ... whose legacy of love goes on forever and ever!
DeleteHeavenly Father, I begin this day asking you to enter my heart, body, soul, mind and my will.
Thanks again, Jeff! I am eternally grateful to Papa and you!
Yes, truth is true no matter when you read it. Thanks be to God for an eternal prayer, shared through Jeff. Yet another gift that keeps on giving!
DeleteSuch perfect words and a perfect prayer for me! Thank you Lord for this blog and family of prayer warriors. Makes my day, every day.🙏❤️
DeleteI am right here, right now, re-praying with Jeff and all who join in his posted prayer from 2017.
DeleteJeff, these timeless words-a prayer- continue, today and everyday. Thank you Jeff. Amen. Absolutely Amen!
DeleteFather I come to YOU through YOUR son, our Savior JESUS CHRIST, thank YOU for waking me up, thank YOU for the safe travels yesterday and the safe travels to come today, as I continue to pray for YOUR hedge of protection and for the HOLY SPIRIT to be poured within me, to guide my steps and words. FATHER forgive me for not always thinking of YOU first, forgive me for the days I woke without immediately saying thank YOU for another day. Help me LORD keep YOU on the for front of my mind, so with every encounter & experience I can immediately consult YOU for guidance.
DeleteFATHER I pray for our world leaders as YOU command, I pray the men and women about to take their positions or have already start to turn away from evil and selfish policies only benefiting them (or the already rich) and begin to work for the people, just as we must put YOU first our elected officials have been bound by the duty to think of the people first in all their work as a public servant. I pray also for our children, lost, sick, abused or neglected, shine YOUR light upon them FATHER please 🙏 and give the little ones hope. Show me to FATHER how best to serve others as well as YOU.
I ask for forgiveness of my sins, I pray for all my fellow Americans, brothers and sisters in Christ, my family, my friends, former friends as well as my enemies, may YOUR Will be done
And let YOUR Kingdom come, I can’t wait 💕 I’m so excited to think I might be the generation that sees YOUR name glorified once and for all for the whole world to see YOU ARE KING OG All Kings , LORD of Lords, Master of all. I PRAISE YOU, FATHER, JESUS CHRIST & the HOLY SPIRIT. Thank YOU for all you have done and will do
In YOUR son’s name JESUS CHRIST I pray
Amen

DeleteJeff, I want in on that prayer too! Amen! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteJeff, I continue to want to "be in on that prayer too"! Your words are current and true. Thank you. Amen.
DeleteI'm all in!
DeleteJeff prays from his heart where the Spirit dwells within him thus we are deeply moved. Thank you, Jeff, for inviting us into your heart. The prayer he shares with us today brings to mind the famous prayer of St Richard of Chichester which is best known today in the song “Day by Day” from Godspell.
ReplyDeleteO dear Lord, three things I pray
To see thee more clearly,
Love thee more dearly,
Follow thee more nearly,
Day by day.
As we knock on the Lord’s door of wisdom, He will surely open and grant us our request. As we then embrace the wisdom within our heart primarily through praying these things into our heart as Jeff did above, then God’s love will flow out of us quite naturally. For that which we hold dear in our heart determines our actions. I am grateful for Stephen Schwartz who wrote the music for the prayer above for it provides me a simple jingle that can easily be prayed (sung) as often as I choose through out the day.
Amen..thank you
DeleteI recently had this song from Godspell come to mind in the middle of the night. I listened to the whole 'album' the next day as worship music and it filled my heart. I too want to thank Stephen Schwartz! And you, Bob, for your commentary on Jeff's post.
DeleteThis song has been in my heart since I was a young girl. I played it at the nursing home. It's simple words are so true. Let us walk a little closer to Him every day and follow hard after Him and love Him more dearly and see Him through our day more clearly. Amen!
DeleteAmen Jeanne! You are in my prayers dear JC buddy 🙏♥️
Delete"Every moment is precious if you keep your focus on Me. Any day can be a good day..."
ReplyDeletePraying: Father, help me to remember these words each time that I begin to feel sorry for myself, or my circumstances. I am not the one who died for all on the cross. Help me to think of You in all that I do. Amen.
I like this passage as it can be a prayer too (slightly modified):
Father, remind all day today that:
1. Every moment is precious.
2. To keep my focus on You.
3. Today can be a good day. Amen
MadFox - wonderful and powerful words. Thank you. KS
DeleteAmen MadFox,thank you for the 1,2,3. Today is a good day for 'This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it'.

DeleteThank You Lord for this 2nd Sunday and the gift of life today. As believers gather to listen to the word and worship You in the beauty of Holiness, may praises go up and Your Presence be felt throughout this day.
ReplyDeleteAs our Potter and we as clay, please mold us and make us, in Thine own way.
May I go through each day, using my precious time to talk to You in prayer and praise, glorifying Your name and not waste it to dwell on the hurt others have caused me. As hard as it may be, help me Holy Spirit to turn the other cheek as Jesus instructed me and rejoice in the reward thereafter from You!
JC family, I pray for you this day, that the God who created heaven and earth, the God who breathed life into man, will cause His blessings to overtake you! This means that as long as you live in His Presence and do what He commands, you can't help but be blessed. God will give you a surprise package that will keep you joyful now and beyond. You will attest that He is abundantly able to deliver and to save them that trust in Him.
Be ever focused and diligent in all you do and watch God awaken your heart to the radiant pleasure of living in union with HIM!
Covering ALL the prayer requests from yesterday's post, all our today's and trusting the King who can do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we think or imagine!
Blessings are yours!

ReplyDeleteUnknown - AMEN!!! GOD BLESS YOU. ♥
DeleteUnknown--- Joining Sassy Mon and other JC WARRIORS in blessing you today. Father God I lift up Unknown's circumstances and all those weighed down with some form of addiction. LORD, You are One Who came to set the captives free and release them from the chains that bind them--so I lift you All to The Throne of Grace. I ask you to send your help and freedom and I ask that you would release Unknown (and anyone with these life circumstances) from this imprisonment and return to a life that has dignity and meaning. In Jesus's precious name Amen and Amen 1 Corinthians 15:57 "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!" Jesus--there is just something about that name!
DeleteGod of Mercy and Compassion,

Thank You for this love and hope that keeps me going when faced with challenges. Please protect me from the evil one. Clothe me in the Armor of God. Cleanse me Lord as I receive your love.
ReplyDelete♥ ♥ ♥ my JC Family.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning and Blessings to my JC Family. I woke up rested which is a great feeling as yesterday I felt like a slug dragging through the day.
ReplyDeleteFather, I lift this day to you and thank you for reminders to stay our minds on You and bring them back to Your Word when they wander. Keep my heart pure, Lord, and forgiving. Help me to not worry about bills, upcoming events, etc but to live this day only, in thankfulness.
JC Family, please pray for one of my friend's daughter who lost a baby several months ago. It is her desire to get pregnant again and this time with twins (which do run in her family). Sooth her heart Father and let her rejoice with her sister whose baby is due in a few weeks.
Praying for each of you on this blog, thankful prayers that hearts are shared and we can include them as passionately as if they were our own.
Love to my JC Family,
Norah

My minds eye wishes to see your plan so that I may rest in the knowing that these situations in my life will be healed here on earth and that my family may be well but that is in your timing Father.

The peace it gives me to know I can give you these troubles and have them out of a place of destruction in my mind and tp "Forgive and Forget". I praise you my, Father, for teaching me to trust and respect You and feel the peac of ,Your, unconditional love. Amen.
ReplyDeleteDear Lord, when I conjure and dwell on hurtful thoughts from the past or present I know You are present waiting for me to come to you, as You have tought me and talk and give you these destructive thoughts so I can "Forgive and forget" and replace them with your peace and joy. I praise you my ,Father, for teaching me to trust and respect You and to know that I have Your, unconditional love. Amen
ReplyDeleteDear JC family, please bare w/me while I learn to post my thoughts and prayers. Thinking I had deleted my prayer today and didn't I tried to share it again. My prayer differs but is sincere. In HIS name, Auntie Jeanne
ReplyDeleteAuntie Jeanne --- Not to worry, we all mess up our posts from time to time. Your post spoke to me and I am very thankful you shared you thoughts and prayer. The Lord we serve is just so incredible!!! All praise, honor and glory to Him!!! Great Blessings to you Auntie Jeanne from Kansas
DeleteWe totally understand Aunty Jeanne we have understood your prayer ! Forgive and forget is my song for today .
DeleteI love my JC family and reading your posts. Taking care of my two youngest grandsons, Mateo and Jairo, such a blessing and thank you Jesus for giving me the strength. I was under the weather last week, struggling, alergies/sinus issues (every year) but I didn't give up and I feel better, finally (thank you Jesus for your healings). Auntie Jeanne, thank you for your prayer. Father in heaven I ask you to bless this holy ground and all who join from all over our country. You have shown me the power of prayer through these amazing JC Warriors. Protect us, hear our prayers for each other (for unknown). I love you Sweet Jesus, my everything.
ReplyDeleteAmen! Loved your posts, Fern and Auntie Jeanne! Praying for each of you.
ReplyDeleteNorah
My heart is pierced by today's reading and your posts today. By His heart being expressed as He woos us to a deeper love in Him.
ReplyDeleteBut my heart is also overwhelmed by another holiday (deer season) and grieving the companionship of the woman I love. But I have gained this perspective, that He is using it to go to my core, to open me up, showing me He put that love in me in the first place for a greater purpose than just loving her. To bring me into a deeper love with Him to discover, "I am most assuredly with you, enveloping you in My Love and Peace. While you relax in My Presence, I am molding your mind and cleansing your heart. I am recreating you into the one I designed you to be."
It is ironic that by Him not bringing the woman I love back into my arms I am being brought through this suffering and onto the doorstep of a new dimension of His love.
Coveting your prayers to be brought through that doorway into a new reality of experiencing Him and being complete in the new awareness and experience that God alone suffices.
Returning prayers for anyone touched by this.
Keith, my heart goes out to you, I too (through my own selfishness) lost the woman I love. 7 years He took me through a rebuilding process, then brought us back together again ( I had no way of knowing this would ever happen). We recently within the same week celebrated our 49th and 42nd wedding anniversaries. Take heart dear brother, you are as yet unaware what God will do in your life, and the good He has purposed for you.
DeleteThank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences.
DeleteI replied a couple of times yesterday including an update but the post didn't stick. lol I'm sure there will be other times that I will update.
He is doing a great work in and through me as He is teaching me new things and getting me in touch with His truth and Love.
I was touched by this and love that God chooses purpose in our suffering. That we must endure such hurts just as He choose suffering for His Son for a far greater victory then our minds can hold.
ReplyDeleteKnowing that our Love for Him will someday surpass all we have suffered here on Earth is our Hope for our ultimate future. God bless you and continue to find " The treasures in the datkness" for the richness found in the deep depths of our souls will and can only be satisfied by He alone. Jesus. Thanks be to God our Father who knows all and loves perfectly.
My heart thoughts as well-thanks for sharing this, even though it was last year it is still relevant today!

ReplyDeletelCA, thank you for the encouragement this morning, and from the rest of the warriors, thank you all. When I walked into the woods yesterday, leaned against a tree, watching leaves fall one by one around me, tears gushing, all I could utter at first was how much I love the Lord. Then and only then could I release all of it into His loving care. My son is His, body, soul & spirit. He has been asking the Lord to guide & lead him to a ministry. I'm praying that whatever the enemy throws at him, the strong & mighty arm of Jehovah will be his shield & buckler. Amen!
ReplyDeleteJan, I am in agreement with JC prayer warriors in prayer for your dear son. Praying for his strength, peace, rest and trust in God to take care of the known and unknown.

ReplyDeleteLoving Father, Thank You for a new day. Your tender mercy and loving kindness, I have received this morning, thank You. May I encounter You in such powerful ways that it moves me to just sing Your praises and declare Your goodness whenever and wherever. Thank You for the gift of faith that allows me to confidently trust and obey You. Nudge me forward when You say “move,” and please hold me back when You say “stop.” Let everything I do exemplify faith in You. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
2 Corinthians 5:9 “So we make it our goal to please Him, whether we are home in the body or away from it.”

Maplewood, love, "nudge me forward when You say,"move",and please hold me back when You say "stop". Bless you dear girl🥰
DeleteAmen! I love your prayer Maplewood! Thank you!
DeleteBlessings from France
Funny you said "Nudge" because I have been feeling that God is nudging me lately. Found out yesterday that I will have to get the hole in my heart closed and plan to do it very soon. I met with the closure specialist yesterday and I meet with my cardiologist Wed. God knows how I feel and that I have a tear in my eyes more often than not. I am feeling a bit depressed over this and I must just give it to God. I'm not fearful because He told me I'm taken care of. But after the procedure, cardiac catheterization, the doctor said I will probably have heart palpitations, and have to take blood thinners for a few months and I just am bummed out about it. But then I say Thank You Father because You knew this was necessary and You guided me to go to the Cardiologist.
DeleteIt was definitely God nudging me to call the Dr for the last 6 months because I really didn't have symptoms except for not being able to catch my breath sometimes. Anyway releasing it all and receiving now. Continuing to pray for MadFox, Jan's son, Audra's calf, Norah's hubby's leg, 10-4's dear friend, Jan's "Sister" Loretta, TERRI, Pastor Louie, JJ's heart rhythm, Anonymous' gall bladder, Brie's brother, Sassy Mom's friend, Rodney and others. Let's just keep praying together for more victories. I appreciate every prayer and all your love. God's got this!!
Jeanne. God will grant you peace. In today's world of amazing surgeons and miracles that they can perform, let me assure you that I'm confident, "it's gonna be ok"!! 😉 when I had my heart valve repair, they found a hole just from being in there and stitched it up while fixing the valve... 3 years later, my cardio doc yesterday said the most notable thing about your heart, is there is nothing notable! I pray the same for you! Amen.
DeleteJeanne - You have our prayers and love. Victory report on Rodney, he received an excellent report from the urologist.
DeleteJeanne. He is God so you can be still and know that He is God. You have Him and many pray-ers supporting, praying and loving you. Be stilled. It's going to be OK because HE'S got our Jeanne in His !Hands. Love you. Brie
DeleteDear MadFox! Thank God they fixed your valve and the hole. I appreciate your words of encouragement. You made me feel much better!
DeleteDear Sassy Mom! Thanks for your prayers and love. Such great news too! Thank God. Doing my victory dance for Rodney right now!
Sweet Brie! Your beautiful words made me smile! I love you all so much! I know we serve a great God so I will continue to rest in Him who cares for me. It’s going to be okay. Much love and gratitude.
Joining all in prayer and blessings this morning. It's a new day and I thank Jesus for protection He brings from all the dark forces that find and attempt to exploit my weaknesses.

DeleteSo blessed Sisters to be loved by Him!!
DeleteThank you Jesus for this day. Yes ,help me to walk with you, not letting the irritations of others be my focus. Let it be brief and "sandwich it" with thoughts of good will. I can do all things with you, especially if I stay faithful to you in my daily walk! Amen.
ReplyDeletePrayers of peace, grace and blessings from our Savior to all listed above and those praying in silence.
ReplyDeleteYes Suzanne R. A big thank you to all the lead and/or background pray-ers. We are ONE, in God's Holy Spirit, making beautiful music together as He brings us into His Glorious Presence with mighty shouts of Everlasting Joy.

We come here together to know the Lord and His truth. We trust in His promises and know we are all bound by our love for Jesus, held by His promises, and saved by His blood.

DeleteJeanne, check my calf off your prayer list. It feels mended! Now if the temp would warm up a bit, I'd get out and move it around. I am thinking about your beautiful heart being whole again. I'm not a seamstress, but I imagine the talents that will come together for your healing guided by our Father. Remember, you are His favorite and all will be OK. Thank you for your prayers for my little calf tears. I appreciate you! ♥️🙏
DeleteThank you dear Audra! I sure am glad your calf is better. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I am sure God will guide the doctor to use his gifts to mend my heart. I appreciate you too! Much love.

I brought me up & out of the murky waters. My favorite Psalm of all! The Lord bless you dear brother & to each of you who sent prayers up to the heavens on my behalf. I love you all so much💕😍.

Delete"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you abide in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing." (John 15:5). let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:22). But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the LORD God my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works. (Psalm 73:28).
ReplyDeleteI pray that everyone today draws closer to the Lord and His son.
DeleteThank you A Daughter of THE KING!
DeleteAmen to that A daughter of a King!
DeleteThank you for your prayer Janet, AMEN,AMEN &AMEN.
ReplyDeleteNever quite understood 'The Lord of the dance'. Also not sure why this comes to me now. But a thought just popped into my mind 'In the dance of life, don't look down at your feet, look up into His Eyes. If that means anything to you, be Blessed have a great day, enjoy the dance.
ReplyDeleteYes, most definitely. I enjoy the dance I take everyday.
DeleteEnjoying the dance also. Thank you for sharing PJFJ🥰
DeleteI like that Peter. When you're looking up into His Eyes and beholding His Countenance you can't be distracted by this worlds trappings.
DeleteOr by foot trippings 😉
DeleteDear Heavenly Father I pray to seek you in all that I do and say! That you are there to guide me in the good and the bad times! I also pray for my son...that he seeks you and let's you guide him all through his days and that you bless him with love and family and success all in your Heavenly name Amen!❤🙏🏽
ReplyDeleteDawn, and others who pray for the salvation of their dear loved ones, I'd like to share my little prayer that I lift up to the Lord for my own offspring: Thank you Jesus for knowing that they are already yours, but they just don't know it yet❣
ReplyDeleteGod is good as this day goes forth, and lifting all up in requested prayers and thanksgiving for Ellen's miracle of healing with speech and walking.
A little thing, but I had actually misunderstood Margi: a doctor has not been in the facility in over 7 or 8 months.
I wanted to share the video piece from Godspell, as it IS a great song 🎵 brought to mind.

Thanks for picking up on the link sharing! This one appears again over the course of a year 😉
DeleteLove this: Thank you Jesus for knowing that they are already yours, but they just don't know it yet❣
Dear Dawn, Praying that your son will come to the Lord and he will receive all of God's blessings according to His magnificent Plan.
DeleteDear Butterfly love, I love your little prayer. Thank you so much. Praying with you and for you. I love Day by Day! Thanks for sharing it.
Amen Audra! I'm praying Jesus already knows 2 of my sons and their families are already His but don't know it. Thank You Jesus!
Blessed are the people who know the FESTAL SHOUT!!! Every time I read this scripture about the FESTAL SHOUT.....I remember the picture on FB gifs that is the little baby sitting on the lap of someone at some sort of gathering, like a game being played. The little guy is yelling YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS with his mouth wide open and his fist clinched. The first time I read this scripture, I visualized Jesus returning to take us all home to Heaven and the shout, the festal shout that will be heard when that happens. God, Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth, please send Jesus SOON so that eternal life for all of us will begin. No more sorrow, no more sad tears (only tears of joy), no more separation from our loved ones who have gone on before us. We will ALL be back together forever, with no more separation, no more pain, no more suffering. No more diseases, pain or bills to pay because we don't owe anything anymore. No more worry about money, relationships, future or death. Only sitting at the table You have prepared for us as soon as we get there. I'M READY!!!!!
ReplyDeleteJoining in your beautiful prayer. He is everything. Amen and Amen.
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious reunion that will be! I stake my life on His promises and that He is preparing a wonderful place for us who love Him. The greatest gift will be when we see Him face to face. Halleluia!
ReplyDeletePlease pray for my friend Carmel who is in the hospital because she lost the feeling of her feet and toes and part of her leg. This is her good leg. She lost her other leg a couple of years ago due to bad circulation. She loves the Lord and trusts in Him. Her life is very hard. She has one daughter in jail and three others to care for. Her husband left her for another woman. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you so much. Thank you also for praying that my CT Scan has good results. I need to save my right eye and I'm trusting Jesus and a very good surgeon to bring me back to perfect health. Thank You Jesus for saving Carmel's leg and my eye and for all our dear JC Family to receive answers to their prayers, healing, strength, comfort, guidance and a better way. Thank You Father for all this in Jesus' Name. Amen
ReplyDeleteJoining in prayers with you Jeanne for Carmel and for you. Heavenly Father, please place Your healing hands upon Your daughters and heal them of all their afflictions. You are our mighty healer and one touch of Your loving hands is all that it takes Lord. Place Your arms around them and give them Your perfect peace, love, comfort and strength. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen 🙏. God bless.

DeleteDearest sisters! Your prayers bless me so much. Thank you. We are praying for each other because we know the power of prayer from a sincere heart of faith. We have already seen God's faithfulness. Thank You Jesus
DeleteThe mountains quake before Him, the hills melt, and the earth heaves at His presence, yes, the world and all who dwell in it. (Nahum 1:5). Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him (Proverbs 8:30). And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. (Psalm 9:10).
ReplyDeleteAmen!
DeleteJeanne, reviewed your post that you had a hole repair in your heart, where I said, I had a very small one that was undetected and found during a robotic mitral valve repair surgery. Heart surgery is definitely emotional as our hearts are our primary "life" machine. How is that 2 years later? Godspeed.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is doing well, thank God, my dear brother. But now I have an orbital mass. Each day my eye looks worse. But I keep thanking God that He will make all things right. Waiting for the results of a Cat Scan. Thanks for your prayers. I continue to pray for you always. May He shower you with strength, and healing. Love you.
DeleteFather God, I ask for Your word to penetrate the depths of Jeanne's heart. I Decree she will
Deletereceive ALL the benefits of knowing You. Thank you that Your Word brings life and healing to our precious Jeanne.
O LORD, You have searched me and known me. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You. (Psalm 139:1, 7, 16-18).
ReplyDeleteDear Lord, thank you for this day and all You have given us. Thank for nudging me all these years to start my day with You. “Be still and know that I am God.” Thank you that we can come to You anytime of the day and night. Please help us to remember that You should be our first “stop” when we encounter a bump in the road. You should be the first person we talk to. Thank you Lord for this community of JC Warriors.

DeleteSo very true dear SC! It is better to trust in God than in man. That's why I call God my Right Hand Man. He always has my back. Hallalujah!

ReplyDeleteNo matter what is happening personally, in the national arena or on the world's stage, Today is a good day because:
ReplyDelete" Any day can be a good day, because My Presence permeates all time."
" I am molding your mind and cleansing your heart. I am recreating you into the one I designed you to be."
1 John 3:19-20 English Standard Version:
"By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything."
Jude 24-25 English Standard Version:
"Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen."
When we focus on Him ( and sometimes we deliberately have to shift gears for a mind change), thankfully other issues start to fade into the background.
'Jesus be my center/centre':
https://youtu.be/jAsK-d3uDt8
After watching the song video, I was hit by the last sentence right at the end of the music: "PAID IN FULL". On the Cross Jesus paid in full for our freedom, not just a deposit or I.O.U. The full price acceptable to the Father.
DeleteThe proof of this? The receipt? Is the love-scars He now carries from the crown of thorns, the nails and the spear, in His head, hands, feet and side. Ever Living proof of our freedom from the wrath of God, and being freed to worship and love Him. Being freed to be recreated into the one He designed us to be."
Amen, what Precious Saviour!
DeleteAMEN! (with a festal shout!)
ReplyDeleteAmen! What a great God we have who understands us like none other and Who loves us with an everlasting love, and Who shepherds us through each day. I am humbled to think that in my imperfections I am so perfectly loved and cared for. Hallelujah
ReplyDeletePsalm 141:1–2 "O LORD, I call upon you; hasten to me!
ReplyDeleteGive ear to my voice when I call to you!
Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!"
Rev 8:3–4 "And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of ALL the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel."
Thanks Peter! He always hears our voices. I’ve been calling out to Him a lot and He is right there. Blessed Assurance.
ReplyDeleteI needed this devotion. These words spoke to my heart: “While you relax in My Presence, I am molding your mind and cleansing your heart. I am recreating you into the one I designed you to be.”
ReplyDeleteI need to be molded every day. I’m so human and flawed. I’m just clay jn the Hands of our great Potter. My help comes from the Lord. He hears us and makes our paths straight.
Psalm 20:6
Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed;
He will answer him from His holy heaven
With the saving strength of His right hand.
Yes, blessed Amen!
DeleteDear Lord, please be with this group
ReplyDeleteof JC Warriors today and gently remind us to stay focused on You as the day goes by. Help us to remember that You are with us wherever we go and with us always. Thank you, God, for this forum where we can share and learn from each other. Lord, I lift up this group and all spoken and unspoken prayer requests. In Your Son’s name, I pray Amen.

ReplyDeleteDear heavenly Father, bumps in my road to sainthood continue each day. Thank you for your guidance and strength on my journey. I love you Jesus. Amen.
ReplyDeleteWhat if, just for today I am thankful for everything and focusing my entire being on God's living Presence?
ReplyDeleteDear Heavenly Father God,
Thank You that I can speak to you naturally, honestly, and talk to You like a friend. I know that You are always here. I need You. Today can be a good day because Your Presence permeates today and all time. In Jesus' Name. AMEN!
Thankful with you for our blessings and for everything. Beautiful prayer! Amen
DeleteI woke up from a very condemning heart racing nightmare. That nightmare prepared me to receive and be enveloped in His Love, His Peace, and His Comfort when I read one of today's Bible Verses:
ReplyDeleteI John 3:19-20
By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before Him; for whenever our heart condemns us, GOD IS GREATER THAN OUR HEART, and he knows everything! Thank You Jesus. AMEN!
I am now thankful for that nightmare! In Jesus' Name. AMEN!
DeleteSo sorry you had that Nightmare but God’s peace surrounds you every second of your day and night. I too pray as I try to go to sleep. I thank God for giving me the rest He knows I need. I think of Jesus and His Peace. Before I know it I’m fast asleep and resting in His loving care.
DeleteProverbs 3:24
When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.
Dearest Brie, May peace and gratitude fill your day and fill in any gaps left over from an active imagination. Tonight, put on that armor for PJ 's 😉. I started to do that day and night a while back and it has helped me stay focused on God, no evil infiltration into my dreams since. Thank you Jesus!
ReplyDeleteLoved that, Audra! Putting on my armor for PJ’s tonight.
DeleteGood (late) morning, JC Family. What a lovely morning this is and the relaxing 'wake up' I had this morning with my DH confirmed that yes, I do have the day off work!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks to all of our dear Veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice. May we all keep them in our prayers and remember our freedoms though of late they seem a bit cloudy. We are still among the most blessed, free people in this world. Even when laws change or votes pass that we were against, we have individual choice and for that I am thankful.
My DH and I had a close call last night while we were out. It was so dark and we were right up on a police officer standing in the middle of the road directing traffic before we actually saw her (mainly b/c the lights on her car were so bright). She was so kind as we apologized and redirected us, but it shook me up. I knew it was God that spared all of us what could have been a bad outcome. That is the second time in a week that I KNEW I was spared in a car accident. Late last week, I was at a red light and started up when it turned green. It was within a second that God said, "Pause," and just then a guy raced through his red light. Had I started up, he would have hit me broadside.
Those are just little reminders of God's continual protection, which often I'm sure I don't even realize could have been a close call. I loved your 'armor for PJs' analogy, Audra. We can all pray throughout the day and night or early morning when we think we can't sleep, which has happened to me the last two mornings, so I lie still and thank God and pray perfectly for all of the loving believers in our lives, their circumstances, my concerns with my DH, his life and those of all of our family. Next thing I know I'm waking up, refreshed and ready for the day.
Each of your requests, hearts desires, concerns and trials are in those prayers. What a blessed bunch we are, as I have said before, to have each other to listen to, pray with and know that our loving God WILL deliver. "Every moment is precious if you keep your focus on Me. Any day can be a good day, because My Presence permeates all time." I loved reading this and shared it with several of my Prayer Buddies and family.
Praying that each of you have a blessed day, safe travels and glean every moment of God's perfect grace, mercy and love.
Thanking God for His Spirit’s nudging you to PAUSE. God is our Shelter and Protection and I have felt His Arm stopping me from turning a corner many times because a driver was flying out of the block I was turning into. By the Grace of God we have been saved in many more than one way. So glad you had a sweet day off and time with your DH! Time to pray and feel His Peace permeate your moments.
ReplyDeleteAmen! When we are in His presence, the time is precious and sweet! He remained by my side through this day and supplied my words so I could truly be a blessing. It was a good day for me, my mom and my sister. His Spirit was moving and I was paying attention. How Great Thou Art!!
How Great Thou Art! Amen! Praying for Jimmy's family as they cope with their terrible loss. Michelle is all alone. She said: This isn't a club you wanna join. I know my Rick is very sad too to lose another brother. We all loved him. I was busy with my grandsons and cooking for Rick yesterday. He's having a colonoscopy tomorrow. Thanks for your prayers. Today's devotion spoke to my heart. "Every moment is precious if you keep your focus on Me. Any day can be a good day, because My Presence permeates all time". I have felt the Lord with me because I have so much to do and I know I can do it all. I wanted to go through my clothes and finish packing today but I want to see Bryan's family and Evelyn and baby Julian so I'm going there after church. I learned the songs for today. Wondering what food I can bring them since they're vegetarians. God will guide me. Praying for SC's DH and Peter and his daughter and Norah's daughter Joni, and her DH, MadFox, Janet, ABC, Ellen and her daughter, and Sandy and Eli, and Terri, and Greg, Websister, And my dear Rick. And Brie and Larry, Audra and her DH and his family, Mayda and Emilio, And Sassy Mom. I know it's a hard time for her. And Terri, And Lindy and her daughter with the drug problem, and Anonymous. And how is Suzanne? We're missing so many dear ones. Forgetting a lot of people. And so many unseen need help from the Lord. I know this And Rich C and his family. May God answer all our prayers and lead us to peace and good health, and bless and guide our country. So much to do and so much to pray for. Thank You Father for taking care of all the little details and for your healing power for all these, and guidance and comfort, and for making all things right for us and our loved ones, and everyone in our JC Family and their loved ones in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen.
ReplyDeletePsalm 46
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Thanks for prayers and update on our daughter Wendy, infection after gallbladder removal has gone. During the procedure a hernia below the lungs was discovered which explains the shortness of breath. So that repair is next. Meanwhile she's up and about, but still needs to take care.
DeleteThank you Lord for restoring Wendy's health in every way.
DeleteDear Peter, Just added Wendy's hernia below the lungs problem to my prayer list. May she recover completely with God's amazing Help. Thank You Jesus!
DeleteHeavenly Father, thank You and bless Your holy name! Thank You Jesus! Lord, please help me with my "to do" list: to look to You expectantly and wait on You, to do Your will and not my own, to walk in Your ways and not my own, to seek Your face continually and to find You in everything and everywhere, to love others as You love me, to forgive others as You forgive me, to praise You and thank You continually throughout the day, to yield and surrender to the Holy Spirit and not my flesh or the ways of this world, to be united in one Spirit and mind with other believers, and to love You with all my heart, mind, and strength. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen 🙏.
ReplyDeleteYour perfect prayer is mine too, dear sister! Amen and Amen! Thank you sweet Janet! Praying you are feeling better in all ways. Much love.
DeleteGod Bless you all on this new day. Thank you JC, Jeanne and Janet for the reminders we all need. Praying for all of you and yours and all listed on this lovely site.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you too, dear Norah! Remain in God's peace and don't get rattled. God is guiding this day and I know you will see His Light all through it. Going to visit Bryan, Allie, Evelyn and baby Julian. I prayed and threw potatoes, vegees and beans into the crockpot before I went to sleep and now I have dinner for them. All thanks to Jesus!! Wishing a great day to you and all our JC Family! Keep Your Eyes on the Lord and go forward with Him. So much to rejoice and be glad about!
ReplyDeleteDear Jan, i’m praying for your good husband. Is he healing well? How is he feeling? How are you doing, dear sister?
ReplyDeleteHeading to bed and praying for your Best Man, Dear Jeanne. Dear Heavenly Father, I have SO many things on my heart: Of course my daughter, Joni, who (dx'd with Graves Disease), told her Dad today (via social media) that she will only see him/talk to him if he promises to not talk about 'the prick in politics/gov't' or religion. He told me today, "My heart is so heavy. Our daughter is saying that I can't talk about Politics or Religion. ALL I talk about is our Nation and God. What do we have to say to each other?" My heart aches for our Family, yet I know God has us all safe in His Hands.
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for our dear friend, Russ, whose back is broken from a hunting accident. His precious wife and family, who are caring for him.
I'm praying for our Minister's wife, Cindy, who has surgery tomorrow. God be with her and the surgeons restructuring her foot. As the spouse in the waiting room for so many years, I pray for Michael as much as Cindy.
Praying for answers to the Thanksgiving/Christmas Holidays in light of the angst among our Family Members. God, please give me the best response to convey our hearts and love for this family. I think of my 80+ yr old husband who has to climb into a van, drive for 40 minutes and then, possibly not be welcomed with the respect he deserves. NOT right. Tell me how to respond, Father.
Praying for my own health. Father, please continue to inspire me to do what I need to do so that my health is preserved. I want to continue to serve You, Father, myself with great decisions; my husband of 50+ years and our 5 children, their spouses and offspring (22 total) and do it the best way I can. Our Teaching today was titled, "God is Able....Therefore, So Are You." I was and am so inspired to finish my teaching notes and share them with my family. And, most importantly, to apply what I learned today. As long as I make a concerted effort to walk and believe and trust Him, He WILL deliver above what I ask or think.
I know that I am not the only one in this dilemma tonight. To/for myself and whoever it applies to....start the dishwasher, (coffee's made), wash your face and go to bed, knowing that loving sisters and brothers in Christ are prayer as you do for them. God is on the Night Watch. He will instruct and provide. Our job is to trust.
