I am yours for all eternity. I am the Alpha and the Omega: the One who is and was and is to come. The world you inhabit is a place of constant changes--more than your mind can absorb without going into shock. Even the body you inhabit is changing relentlessly, in spite of modern science's attempts to prolong youth and life indefinitely. I, however, am the same yesterday and today and forever.
Because I never change, your relationship with Me provides a rock-solid foundation for your life. I will never leave your side. When you move on from this life to the next. My Presence beside you will shine brighter with each step. You have nothing to fear, because I am with you for all time and throughout eternity.
Revelation 1:8
English Standard Version
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Hebrews 13:8
English Standard Version
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Psalm 102:25-27
English Standard Version
25 Of old you laid the foundation of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
26 They will perish, but you will remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
27 but you are the same, and your years have no end.
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
26 They will perish, but you will remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
27 but you are the same, and your years have no end.
Psalm 48:14
English Standard Version
that this is God,
our God forever and ever.
He will guide us forever.

ReplyDeletePreparing to fly with my mom to MN tomorrow and returning next Tuesday, I ask my JC family to please pray with and for us for God's travelling grace and mercy. Can never get use to flying, bu trusting God for protection and calm nerves, in Jesus name, as He is always with me. The same Yesterday, today and FOREVER!

DeleteMaplewood--- Joining KS and the JC WARRIORS IN prayer for you and your mom. Asking for traveling mercies and GREAT BLESSINGS upon you. May you and your mom have unusal favor with everyone that looks upon you!!
DeleteIsiah 49:16 calms my nerves while flying. I look at the palm of my hand and remember... My name is engraved on the palm of His hand and I'm under His protection. Praying for God's peace and love be felt as you and your mom travel.
DeleteBless your heart, Maplewood NJ! I will hold you and your mom in prayer and I will picture you both (though I have no idea what you look like! :), God does!) in the most absolute peace and joy. What a special time. Are the two of you growing closer? I pray for that. What a gift, to have the opportunity to 'set righ' your differences. Your mom has to be so blessed to see your life and the love you have for God and for her.
ReplyDeleteI loved Sarah's reminder of our never-changing, loving Father. Everything else changes: relationships, people, circumstances, but our God - the same today, tomorrow, forever. Our Savior - always loving, never condemning, always powerful.
I ask for prayers of continued Godly communication between my husband and me. Father, keep my heart meek to Your Word, which my husband loves and speaks and do the same for him. Let us talk and share without being hurtful. Let us remember the 'dynamic duo' we are when we are like-minded on your Word and let our hearts be in tune with You as we strive to out-give one another, knowing that You meet all of our needs: financial, emotional, physical, mental and most of all, Spiritual. Let us find our common ground and build on that, once again, as we have for almost half a century! Keep my heart soft to Your guidance and help me build him up and respect his stand. Let him love me as Christ loved the Church. Let us both be the best example to our children of a Godly marriage. They see the discord; let them also see the victory as we allow you to work in each of us and we are meek to receive your guidance. YOU have the answer, Lord; let us see it clearly and not question.
There are times I feel guilty for asking for more - all of my problems are 'first world problems' as I've been reminded lately. Yet, if they are causing division, it is our responsibility to bring them to You. Thank you JC Family, for praying with believing with me. I hold all of you in prayer as well and believe your hearts are blessed, your needs met and that the desires of your hearts are His.

ReplyDeleteHappy 50th Golden Blessed Wedding Anniversary to you and yours, Bob. May you have many many more happily blessed and highly favored years together in our Lord Jesus Christ!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Brie, you are such a blessing.
DeleteBrie you certainly are a blessing!
DeleteBob, I am so happy for you! Happy 50th Anniversary! God truly blessed you and your lovely wife with a love that endures and grows deeper with each passing year. Celebrate with your beautiful bride, and remember all the reasons you married her because they're still there. God bless you always.
Bob- my bday twin, hope you are having a fabulous time in TN! Janet is blessed to have you and so many others prayer for her without ceasing! It means a lot to me and my family. I stand in total trust that His grace is sufficient! She is coming out jumping (instead of walking-lol) and leaping and praising God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 3:6,8)! Stay blessed my brother.
ReplyDeleteNorah- Your aunt Mary Anna and her daughter are in my prayers. God is able!
Brie- LOL at your “sweet Maple Syrup”! In prayers for crystal clear water for you. Indeed God wants us to bring anything that concerns us to Him in prayers. His Peace is already yours!
Rose- Joining the JC family and praying for your cousin Angie, to the ONE who knows the situation and already at work, so that in He can be glorified! It shall be well!
Jeanne- Jehovah Rapha is with Morgan and will see her through this difficult time. My prayer is that she glorifies Him with praise and thanksgiving! Nothing is impossible for Him! She is blessed to have intercessors like you!
Brilamar- we miss you, hurry back!! God be with you.
In prayers for ALL the requests. God bless you all and grant you His peace.
Blessings.
Maplewood, NJ
Thanks for the update on blessed Janet, twin bd sis! I luved your reference to her jumping rather than walking. Often times when I have prayed for some one to be healed, I would settle for a good limp. Not God. When God does a healing, there is leaping and dancing like the paralytic in Acts. (I still have a long ways to go but with your help, I am getting there.). God be with you and Janet!
DeleteMaplewood NJ
DeleteBrilamar IS Brie,
I left posting in July as Brilamar and returned to posting in August as Brie!
In this big wine and cheese cocktail party called life, I felt I could either bring the whine, or I could bring the cheese, hence, Brie!
Plus, Brie pairs pretty good with that fresh sweet Maple Syrup! Peace and Love to all our JC Family!
Brie - you really do make me laugh! Maplewood - I'm so blessed to read that your sister is healing. Bob, you got a laugh out of me too (it's only 6:26 a.m. and I'm chuckling! How fun!)...I, too, have found myself 'settling for a good limp' when our God is all about leaping! Maplewood, your believing image of victory for your sister was so refreshing for me. Like the clear, clean water we are praying for Brie to have!
DeleteAnd, finally - Happy Anniversary Dear Bob - I will settle down and read your post, but I want to savor it and not rush - so more a little later! As I was typing this I thought, 'Wait a minute, Bob's having a root canal today!' WOW - that led me to all sorts of 'I'd rather have a root canal,' jokes which I bet you and your wife will laugh about later. God Bless, my dear JC Family...praying for each of you, on here or not, God knows what we all need. If I could do the little emojis on here I'd be sprinkling the page with hearts and smiles.
Good Morning Norah,
DeleteYour sweet sweet Spirit did sprinkle the page with hearts and smiles! Love you.
LOL, thanks for clarifying Brie! I was wondering where my sis was, but should have known through the vibrant and uplifting posts (smiling). God bless you!

Dear sweet Maplewood, What wonderful news about Janet! God is so good and faithful to give her such strength and joy! Bob, Have a wonderful and safe trip and celebrate 50 years of wedded bliss! Dear Family, Praying right with you for Norah's Aunt Mary Anna's healing and strength for her daughter, and for Brie's clear water, and you, Brie, always make me laugh too, sweet lady! You are a bringer of merry light!, and Rose, I'm praying for your dear cousin Angie and for God to give you a heart to forgive her. I'm also praying for the other Jeanne's friend's friend's daughter, Morgan that she will be healed to God's glory. Thanking all of you for your prayers for my Mom. She's so much better! Please continue to pray for my Sister in law, Sally with ulcerative colitis whose son is getting married very soon. Thank you. You all always bless me so much and make me smile. We are of one accord! Praise God!
DeleteAs Brie noted above, this is for my wife and me, our 50th wedding anniversary. That being said, I need to reflect on that with people who care and I’ve grown to know that is you. So if I may...
ReplyDeleteWe were 20 years old and between our 2nd & 3rd years of college when we were married. Looking back from now, I really didn’t grasp what this marital state was all about for I was immature in such holy matters (my wife can speak for herself). But I was led to enter into this holy act by God for through the Holy Spirit, God would lead me to the maturity I would need to be faithfully devoted to my wife as I would say in my vow. God also would provide an abundance of grace that everyone needs in the maturation process. The vow has been kept in the essential ways but there have been countless moments we have hurt each other in little ways though there is nothing little about a hurt inflicted. But there is where God’s grace entered in so we would forgive each other as the Lord has forgiven us. In so doing, our relationship was sustained. Raising three daughters brought challenges to our relationship because that requires attention to them which formerly was directed to each other. From a Catholic priest (who says, ‘How can they know?’) we learned that our relationship had priority over our relationship with our children for being successful parents depended upon being united firmly in our love for each other. So we made constant effort to attend to our relationship while shaping three other lives. As my wife looks back, she feels the years when they were teens were some of the hardest years of our married lives. Of course, holding the position that I did as minister in the church and community threw some additional challenges into the process. God was faithful and those challenging waters were navigated by His grace. Though we have arrived at a milestone, we are ever changing and adjusting to each other’s changes. But being that we know each other so well after these 50 years, we are better able to know how to help each other. As we grow older and our physical capacities are diminishing, we rely more and more on each other and we have learned over the years that is what we should have been doing all along. There is yet to come a time that God has determined when ‘til death do we part’ must be passed through. But as God has been faithful all along the way, He will see us through that time until the day we are reunited in His kingdom eternally.
One last reflection if you would spare me a few more moments. In Catholicism, marriage is a sacrament, not so in the Presbyterian tradition in which I have spent my whole life. The reason for the difference is based on the criteria used to determine what qualifies to be a sacrament. But both believe a sacrament is an earthly action in which one encounters God. That being said, I have come to believe in the sacramental nature of marriage for so much of what I have experienced in being united to my wife in marriage is what is true in being united to God through Jesus Christ. There are many parallels in our love and devotion to each other that are true of God’s devotion to us. Yes, I have experienced God innumerable times in marriage over the past 50 years with more still to come.
Thanks for being a good listener. It helps in understanding more fully God’s love for us all.
God be with you!
Love, Bob
What a beautiful testimony! Thanks for sharing, Bob. Continued blessings are being prayed For Your Love of Him, her, JC Family, others and yourself. Amen

Happy Anniversary.
DeleteThank you for sharing. It was a joy to read and made me think of parallels in my own marriage of 37 years. Happy anniversary.
DeleteBob, What an amazing testimony to the glory of God! You are a walking living testimony to what God ordained and designed marriage to be. Not many can testify to what you shared. The truth is, no relationship comes with a lifetime guarantee. Despite imperfections, God created the husband and wife to steer each other in His direction. ‘Marriage is the firmest foundation for building a family and it mirrors God’s covenant relationship with His people.' You have walked the walked in the way God intended, so to you and your wife I say: A Big CONGRATULATIONS!
DeleteMay the good Lord add another 50 more years and continue to walk with you through it. May His blessings overflow your life and that of your family, so others can see and model His example in and through you. Giving thanks for His grace that carried you through. The glory and honor are all His! May this joy that you feel, remain yours always.
Stay blessed my brother!

Bob- enjoyed reading your testimony 😊. 50 years is such a blessed milestone. So many memories to play through. Here's to your 60th & beyond!🥳. Oh yes! Prayer for dental procedure.
DeleteHappy Anniversary Dear Brother!!!
DeleteLove, from Maryville, Tennessee
Congratulations on God’s faithfulness, grace and blessing in 50! years of commitment, friendship, and love. You choose to love every day. One of my favorite books is “A Sacred Marriage” by Gary Thomas where he asks, what if marriage is more about making us holy than happy? That seems true in your account and seems most important to our Papa God. Of course in shaping us to be holy, we find true happiness. So it is both. But all of it is miraculous and humbling as we trust one precious other with our authentic self- good, bad, and in growing moments. It is a joy to celebrate these milestones and to trust God’s grace for many many more years together. Happy happy anniversary!!!! 🎶🎉😍🥳
DeleteHappy Anniversary to the both of you! Our Father in heaven keep blessing this union of true love; we ask in the the name of your only beloved son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. AMEN!

DeleteHappy Anniversary to you both! You are an inspiration! Thank you for sharing your words, your life and your love with all of us!! Be blessed!
DeleteLove Monica ❤️
Thank you for that beautiful testimony of love for God and for your dear Wife. A blessed union of love founded on Him is something far greater than any other relationship. Even with the ups and downs of normal married life, your strength was that the two of you saw that He was your immovable cornerstone through raising your daughters, and facing every challenge in front of you. His faithfulness in leading you through 50 years of marriage with great love remaining in your hearts for each other and for Him is your greatest gift! May He keep you both deeply rooted in love and faith, and continue to give you both great joy for the rest of your journey together until you meet Him in His Kingdom. Enjoy the special love you share and celebrate God's faithfulness! Remember you are children of God so rejoice like children and have some silly fun together! God bless you and your wife always! I hope and pray your root canal procedure goes well. Much love!
DeleteBlessing Bob on your Anniversary!
DeleteI love the way you "married" both our relationships with each other and How God wants us to have that same connection with Him. God bless you.
Also a thank you to Gracetakes time your reference to Gary Thomas's A Sacred Marriage was the third time w/in 24 hours that God nudged me to read this book! I love those confirmations from the Lord! Peace to all of you.
Bob, I am wishing you the most happiest and blessed 50th Anniversary! Such an accomplishment and so beautiful the way yo give God all the glory! I also love the parallel between the marriage between husband and wife with our “marriage “ to our Father! I am wishing you many more blessed years of happiness with your bride!❤️
DeleteBob--- Happy Anniversary to you and your precious wife! May the God who kept you together for these number of years, surround you with His goodness and mercy continue to keep you together and bless your union!
DeleteCongratulations!! Happy 50th Anniversary to you and your love, Bob. What a blessing and a true inspiration. Thank you for sharing the history of your marriage story with all of us here. May you both continue to be blessed, a blessing to each other and also to your family and friends. Praying all goes according to His will in your life and especially with your scheduled root canal. Can't wait for the victory report! God is with you.
DeleteI'm humbled by all of your prayers for my cousin Angie and myself. Just to clarify though, my forgiveness issue doesn't concern Angie. I know by leaving out the details, it can be difficult to discern, but I'm thankful nonetheless for your countless prayers. I FEEL THEM WORKING! Praise the Lord! It's amazing (I shouldn't be amazed) how no matter how impossible a situation may seem in earthly terms, nothing is impossible with God. All the glory, honor and praise is His! Hallelujah! Lifting up ALL prayer requests of the JC prayer warriors. Your prayers are mine. May we all feel His Light shine down on us today. Amen!

DeleteRose. Continuing to pray for dear Angie. I will just say May God continue to bless you with a heart and will to forgive whoever has done you wrong. We are all flawed and imperfect but God forgives us for everything when we come to him in true repentance. We must forgive others even when they are not sorry for their transgressions or actions. Not an easy thing to do but to please God and to give our own heart and soul true peace, we can do it. Sending love dear Rose!

DeleteHi JC fam! I have a prayer request for a friend of mine who lives in England. She told me yesterday that her and her family Covid-19 tests came back positive. ReplyDeleteDear Heavenly Father, Thank You for another day. Thank You that on Christ the solid rock I stand, ALL other ground is sinking sand. Your grace is sufficient for me! In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
ReplyDeleteJohn identifies Jesus as Alpha and Omega and in Revelation 1:8 as the Lord God,"who is and was and who is to come, the Almighty.” The "Lord God," reminds us that He is our ruler, He deserves our obedience and He deserves our worship. Jesus existed and always will exist as the Almighty. Before the world was formed Jesus existed, and as John 1:2-3 point outs, He was in the beginning with God, and He created everything.
In the beginning He said, "Let there be light." And for thousands of years the sun has risen every day to make us thirsty for His Light behind the light. He is going to satisfy those that thirst with an experience of His magnificent power beyond all description. He is the Omega of all things, the end source for those who thirst for Him forever! He is our God and wants us to enjoy His gifts. He was the fountain of our life in creation, and He will be the fountain of our life in the consummation. As we thirst for Him, He will be our God and we will be His children enjoying His inheritance forever and ever. He promised to give those who souls really thirst for Him, “water without price from the fountain of the water of life”(Rev. 21:-6-7). There’s always an invitation and we are wise when we accept.
Dear Father, Thank You for being the same yesterday, today and forever. As we change, You remain the same. We are blessed beyond our wildest imagination and thank You for being our rock solid foundation that shines brightly with each step we take. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Blessings and Peace!

We stand together on our rock solid foundation. No slipping and sliding here because we're all tethered to Him, our Anchor to Heaven!
DeleteI am so glad He never changes and we can always rely on Him! Absolutes apply to only Him, for He is everything and always! I am depending on His promises for they are solid and unmovable despite all circumstances. Thank you Jesus
DeleteA very blessed post (as usual), twin bd sis! He is the Alpha, all of creation had its beginning in Him. He is the Omega, all of creation will end in Him where every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. In the meantime, bowIng one’s knee and confessing with one’s tongue taps into the joy that is to come. Thanks be to God! God be with you,.

Good morning everyone! Thank you so much for you prayers for my friend and her family.
ReplyDeleteAnother day, another mail, another part of the armor of God!
"Put on salvation as your helmet" Ephesians 6:17
"One of the things that's fundamental in the military is the helmet. The helmet is extremely important for protection. You never know where a shot might come from.
If you wear your helmet, Christ will be able to protect you.
The Greek translation for the word "helmet" means "to encircle and protect the head". In reality, when you wear the helmet of salvation, it allows you to continually renew yourself, especially in your thoughts.
The mind is a real spiritual battlefield. And without the helmet of salvation, it is impossible to have access to a victorious life in Jesus Christ. Indeed, the enemy of our soul very quickly locates those who do not wear one. It is sometimes in this way, alas, that some children of God lose faith. It is by nourishing yourself with His Word that your thoughts become realigned as you go along.
Your helmet, just like in the army, allows you to remain camouflaged, to be as if invisible to the eyes of your enemy."
I'm so blessed by these mails. I find these words about the armor of God so encouraging that I want to share them with you my precious JC family!
Have a blessed day!

I feel like I put on "my armor" and "my helmet of protection" every day by coming to this precious blog and praying with and for our JC family. Thank you for the reminder, BFF, to "realign" ourselves on a daily basis with Christ. God be with you.
DeleteBlessings from California
Amen Rose! I wake up thanking God and praying with my Mom and Sis. Starting the day in the Word strenthens us to walk out into the day with our full Armor. I am equipped and ready for anything because I never walk alone and He is greater than anything that can happen to me. This beautiful family reaffirms God's promises and shares so much of His light every day. We are blessed to all belong to the Family of Christ.

ReplyDeleteToday's devotion encouraged me to hear Jesus Christ singing an old tune to me that my Mom used to sing when she was alive:
ReplyDeleteI'll be loving you always
With a love that's true always.
When the things you've planned
Need a helping hand,
I will understand always.
Always.
Days may not be fair always,
That's when Ill be there always.
Not for just an hour,
Not for just a day,
Not for just a year,
But always.
Remember
Always!
🎵🎶 remembering that song Brie😊
DeleteWhen I sang this beautiful song at the nursing home, there was a resident I knew who always said that was her wedding song. She passed away but I always remember her smile when I would sing it for her. It is nothing but sweetness honey. Thank you dear Brie for bringing it to my mind.
DeleteOh Jeanne I picture that nursing home scene...They remember those old hymns that have the power to sustain us to the end. And Brie, sweet Brie I did so love reading those song lyrics, they did touch a place within me that needed some attention. I love you guys so. xxoo
DeleteA classic love song that so describes the love of God for each of us. I have often preached the romantic side of God using songs like this one. Thanks, Brie! God be with you.

DeleteMy little grandson Jairo will be blessed with one year of life on August 17th and will be baptized tomorrow, delayed because of covid-19. He was born prematurely and the first 3 months of his life were quite frightful. Thank you Jesus for your amazing grace and thank you JC Warriors for all your prayers you offered this time last year. I love you sweet Jesus; thank you for our beautiful baby; pour your holy spirit over him for he belongs to you.
ReplyDeleteCelebrating this precious life!!! 🎉😍🎶
DeleteIn case this prayer is not used at Jairo’s baptism, I offer it at this time:
DeleteMay the Spirit of the Lord be upon Jairo;
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord,
The Spirit of joy in His presence!
I spoke this prayer taken from Isaiah 11:2-3 at each child’s baptism I did. Be blessed, LCA.
Blessings upon blessings for little Jairo. May the Lord's Light shine down upon his life in countless ways. God be with you.

ReplyDeleteI am learning that the holy Bible is not just a story book. It is the living word of God and needs to be shared with everyone. Praise the Lord continually and always 🙏.
ReplyDeleteAmen dear Janet! It is truth, light and life, and God's instruction for us. His Word is the lamp upon our feet and the light upon our path. We take our Sword with us to protect us against the Evil One as we go forward in this crazy, fallen world. Jesus is the Word made flesh and He goes with us everywhere. How blessed we are! We share His Word every day by the way we walk, by the words we speak and by the light we shine. Have a blessed and safe day in His presence.
DeleteAs long as I have You Father, that's all I need ♥. Thank You Jesus 😊. Praise the Lord continually and always 🙏
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your prayers over little Jairo. My cup runneth over. God keep you and yours safe and may you feel his everlasting love. I love you my JC Warriors.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you! I know your joy! I love the precious time with my grandsons. Praying for you always.
DeleteThank you God for everlasting life. I’m grateful
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. (John 1:1-5).
ReplyDeleteAmen! The Lord always was and always will be. He is the Word made flesh. He is Life eternal and the Light in our darkness. He lights our Way every day and loves us with an everlasting and unconditional Love. He is our immovable Cornerstone on which we stand. In Him we are made complete. He is our Gate to Heaven.

ReplyDeleteMost loving and gracious Father, Thank You for another day of life, being in Your presence and having a heart full of gratitude. In the midst of this ever-changing environment world that we live me, thank You that I am reminded of one thing that never changes and that is JESUS CHRIST!
All of life begins with the creative power of You the Alpha and ending as the Omega. You were in the past exactly who You are in the present and precisely who You will be forevermore! Father, with all the sweeping changes happening in the world today, I thank You that Jesus isn’t one of them! He is the same Yesterday and Today and for all Future Ages! Thank You for Your unchanging love and Your unending mercy. May the Holy Spirit help me to stand strong for You, no matter if all around me abandon their position of faith. Jesus’ sameness is Your sameness. His unchangingness is Your unchangingness. The Father and Son are the same yesterday, today and forever, the same truth and the same treasure. You are absolutely the beginning and absolutely the end, our Alpha and our Omega from everlasting to everlasting, the never-ending Omega for every man. You are God (Psalm 90:2)! Thank You for Your majesty which inspires me to worship You and Your authority that grants me peace. This is my prayer in Jesus’ name.
"I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come" (Isaiah 46:10).
Blessings and Peace.

Thank you warriors for prayers sent up for hubby, myself & family. Hubby & I tested negative & no symptoms from covid exposure. Still had to quarantine for 2 wks though. Grandson Corbin, mom,dad & groom are all on the mend. So thankful for each of prayers. Please lift son #1. Not only did his family go through a covid scare but he's asking the Lord's leading into leaving his job & deciding on a business venture that looks promising for him & son. DeleteDear wonderful JC Family,
ReplyDeleteMy mom was weak and her fall was harder on her body than we all knew. She didn't have to be too scared because she/we thought she was going to get rehab and she thought she was going to get strong enough to come back home and live with me and our pets again. She went to be with the Lord on Thursday. She is in the best place now and has a new strong body. I've re-analyzed the last 10 days over and over in my mind because its all I can think about still. I can see that the Lord had it all wrapped in His perfect plan and perfectly orchestrated. I give Him the Glory for doing what was best for my mom and getting her safely home with Him.
Thank you for going through this with me since I've come here 1 1/2 years ago. I originally came asking for prayers because I lost all of my income sources when Covid happened and I didn't want to tell my mom because I knew how she'd worry. You prayer warriors prayed for me - a brand new stranger to you - just like you do for all who come here. It calmed me to receive your love and support and everything you prayed for since worked out. Praise the Lord! Thank you so very much for all of your prayers and kind words. Thank you for praying for her salvation and health. You've helped me more than you can know with sharing your similar situations and giving me much guidance on how to move through all I've had going on in a Christian manor.
I have regrets that I complained about how hard it was to live with her negativity and how I was overwhelmed. That was my selfish sin and I want to take responsibility for it here, publicly confess it, and I Praise the Lord that because of what He did for us that I can lay that at the foot of the cross.
God Bless you all and I will go back to addressing your concerns and victories as we move forward together.
Love, Kathy

DeleteToday's Devotion seems so applicable to your Mom's situation...I am yours for all eternity...When you move on from this life to the next, My Presence beside you will shine brighter with each step. You have nothing to fear, because I am with you for all time and throughout eternity. Enjoy your eternity, Kathy's Mom!
DeleteThanks for sharing my dear dear sister-friend in Christ, Kathy. You have my sympathy. I know God cares more about all the Christ-centered things you did do, and for trusting Him in the face of many obstacles, including times when there was nothing left in you. PROVERBS 10 reminds me that JESUS IS LOVE, and HIS LOVE looks for, sees, compliments, praises, and focuses on our strongpoints and our Goodness. I suspect He has completely forgiven you for complaining, especially now that you have laid that human foible down at the foot of His Cross.
DeleteIt is reassuring to know that JC Prayer Warriors allowed God's calm to flow love and support through you, both in your receiving them and giving them to us, which you did.
As I do with so many others who passed through here, I personally missed your posts. I know people come and go, but I like it when they come and miss them when they go. Thanks be to God, I can connect with my continual prayers for all, even when I don't "see" them in here. I trust the Holy Spirit knows where they are and gets my prayers for them, to them. I can only imagine. Thank you for blessing us with your presence and your prayers. Both are appreciated. Best Regards, Brie
Dear Kathy,
DeleteGod was merciful and knew your Mom was going through her misery and pain. I believe in the last hours, she was making her peace with Him and seeking Him sincerely. She is now in a place of perfect stillness in His presence. We can only imagine her pure joy. All the tears have been wiped away and God's promises are being realized. You should not feel guilty about anything dear sister. You are merely a human being, frail and affected by emotions. God knows your heart of trust and faith. He loves you beyond this world. You will be with your Mom again. I pray she sought Him at the end. He is merciful even unto the end of time. Remember all the love you shared with your Mom, and all the care you gave your Mom. Don't ever look back in anger or guilt. Now is the time to be grateful that her suffering is over, and your next chapter is before you. May God lead you to all joy, peace, fulfillment and the desires of your beautiful heart!
Thank You Father for this in the Name of Jesus!

Delete"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"—but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.”
Dear Kathy, my heart goes out to you and your family. I'm so glad you know exactly where your mom is...in the arms of Jesus! And as Brie said and you know, she is suffering no more! Guilt and shame is from the evil one. Remember you are human and we all fall short at times from being under tremendous pressure...of which you have been for awhile. Being a caregiver is incredibly taxing enough and then add a negative recipient and it's like climbing Mt. Everest every day; arduous and rough. God knows your heart and the love you had for your mom, catering to her every need. As I have said before, when caregivers get to heaven, they will be given a beautiful house to live in over the bluest of water...like they have in Bora Bora! Caregivers deserve nothing but the best when they get to heaven. You were a faithful servant to your mom and her needs. Thank you for letting us know about your mom, Kathy. I know this JC family is lifting you up in prayer today and in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Sending peace and love in Jesus' name, amen.
DeleteSo sorry dear Kathy. Sending virtual hugs and praying peace, comfort and renewed strength for you and your family as you're going through this dear sister. Thank you so much JC family! Definitely helping already! I took some time today after my prayers, to just listen; and boy did God speak loud and clear. I had my Bible open to Isaiah 41 at the time. Serve the Lord with gladness;
