Jesus Calling: December 15

Your longing for heaven is good, because it is an extension of your yearning for Me. The hope of heaven is meant to strengthen and encourage you, filling you with wondrous Joy. Many Christians have misunderstood this word hope, believing that it denotes wishful thinking. Nothing could be further from the truth! As soon as I became your Savior, heaven because your ultimate destination. The phrase hope of heaven highlights the benefits you can enjoy even while remaining on earth. This hope keeps you spiritually alive during dark times of adversity; it brightens your path and heightens your awareness of My Presence. My desire is that you may overflow with hope by the great power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:23-25
English Standard Version
23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Hebrews 6:18-20
English Standard Version
18 so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. 19 We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, 20 where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

Romans 15:13
English Standard Version
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

My Prayer
Lord, you remind me that heaven is a reality for me. Being in Christ makes it a reality and this means this world in which I live in has heaven in it as I live with You in unity and peace. If I am not careful, I allow the problems and difficulties in this present life to get the better of me and I get too focused on them - yet you want to show me that heavenly hope brings me alive to navigate through all of life's ups and downs. No matter the situation, my path to You remains bright. You know the sadness I have Lord when I see others trying to navigate through this life without being in Christ and so there life is a path to hell, despite their best intentions. Draw people to yourself and help me Lord to remain in unity with You, no matter what. Thank you for filling me all joy and peace.

  1. During a dark time of adversity"... perhaps we all feel like we are there more often than not. I, like others here, feel like there is "hope of heaven" from the faith built during the times where God's peace and blessings seem plentiful and I'm having a mountain top experience. It is keeping that faith in the valley circumstances. As written, may we ask in faith to be kept "spiritually alive" until we see all the blessings we have, and are to come. In Him, Amen

    1. I’m with you on this one, MadFox. I am ashamed to admit this has been a pattern of my own life as well. But isn’t it the essence of the story of the people of God as they journeyed through the desert on the way to The Promised Land? It is the faith journey of us all. Let us hang in there, we will make it, He is making sure of it.

    2. Agree Bob, He is making sure of it always. In our hope valleys, remembering that even our mustard seed faith was secured by Christ's suffering at the cross. And that Hope was personified and fulfilled in that child born in Bethlehem 2000+ years ago.

Your sharing brought today's DEVOTION into a very clear focus for me and helped me more clearly understand HOPE. Thank You again for sharing your journey with us. Love, Brie

    4. Thank you Brie... as I've said in the past month or so, it is remarkable to look back to last year and to 2018 posts, and see God preparing me for the present valley. While I am concerned about the current situation, mostly for my family, the peace and minimal amount of fear, has been such a blessing. God has been near and has given me and all of you: "hope of heaven highlights the benefits you can enjoy even while remaining on earth." (which God willing will be for many more years to come).

"Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner." Thank you to all for the prayers, it is clear that God hears them, and that his healing is present physically, spiritually, and intellectually. AMEN.

He is building you up physically, mentally and spiritually. You are a well equipped beacon to us.,Thank you for your encouragement and wisdom. And your generosity of spirit. Much love dear brother!

    5. @unknown unknown; In Judges Chapter 6 verse 12 it states, "When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, The Lord is with you mighty warrior; When the angel found Gideon afraid he reminds him the Lord is with you. When you are afraid and don't feel especially brave, boost your confidence by repeating, "The Lord is with ME" Calling on Jesus, the name above every name will fill you with courage, strength and faith to try one more day! HE loves YOU and he GOT YOU and your family without a doubt. Lord in the name of Jesus I lift up your vessel to you because you know who it is and ask that you touch like only you can and consume with your peace and love that your presence will be felt throughout the family like a spreading fire, and that all reservations that are not of you will disappear suddenly! Be of good cheer it's all good because it's ALL GOD, if you can believe it, IT SHALL COME TO PASS!

  4. Our reading today contains a sad commentary on my faith I have allowed to slip in the back door of my soul - hope is a synonym for wishful thinking. I am guilty of using that sacred word in that fashion; I hope my team wins, I hope it doesn’t rain, I hope to get some more money (and the list goes on and on, progressively deteriorating). From the scriptures above, the word hope is a sacred concept. When I use it as I have above, is it not similar to taking the Lord’s name in vain? I need to raise my concept of hope and stop using it in such trite and trivial ways. It is the season of Advent, a season to practice anchoring our hope in God’s promises and anticipated fulfillment as God fulfilled His promise that there would come One to save us all. In writing this to you, I realize my need, to place all hope in God’s promises and not in my wishes. Thanks for listening.

  7. Another great day where Christians will or have gathered into places of worship to hear Your words and worship You in Spirit and in truth. Help us not to just be church goers, but ambassadors for Your Kindgom, so that our lives point others to You! Thank You for this great day Lord and for adding me and my household into it!
As You desire for me, I too desire for myself, that I may "overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit".

It is amazing how Your words just come together through different sources. It shows Your awesome Power that works in and through us as believers. Thank You!
As I read today's devotion in JC and that of Our Daily Bread, the lessons of HOPE is mentioned in both.
ODB says, 'Water into Hope'. "Through the Spirit, believers are united to Christ and have access to the boundless power, hope, and joy found in God. Like living water, the Spirit lives inside believers, refreshing and renewing us".
JC says, "The hope of heaven is meant to strengthen and encourage you, filling you with wondrous Joy.... This hope keeps you spiritually alive during dark times of adversity..."

JC family, to all who are weary and heavy laden, keep on pressing, Don't give up, there's Hope for tomorrow here on earth, but most Importantly, the HOPE of HEAVEN!
Thanks be to God Almighty for Who HE is!
Blessings and Peace to all this wonderful day the Lord has made.

  8. Good Morning JC Family, once again I am truly blessed by your comments; one of my studies also spoke of hope like this, "Your circumstances should not interfere with your ability to abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. The GOD of hope is with you and wants to fill your heart with HIS PEACE AND JOY. Believing and having hope is not always easy, but it is necessary to have a confident and steadfast faith. GOD I know you are working on our behalf and we are hopeful trusting YOU in the midst of life's questions and challenges. I know that HOPE is huge in the body of Christ, but again it's no good unless we activate it and ask the Spirit help us to be all HE created us to be. Keep praying with my husband and I, we are in a new city and asking GOD to lead us to a worship center where we can be used for his glory! It is a GREAT DAY already because he woke us up with a mind to seek and serve HIM!

      YOU KEEP HOPE ALIVE
      by Jon Reddick and Mandisa

Days may be darkest, but your light is greater, You light our way, God, you light our way
When evil is rising, you're rising higher
With power to save, with power to save

You keep hope alive, you keep hope alive
From the beginning to end, your word never fails
You keep hope alive, because you are alive
      Jesus, you are alive

Death had a stronghold, but your life was stronger
Rose from the grave, rose up from the grave, yeah yeah
When evil is rising, you're rising higher
With power to save, with power to save, oh-oh-oh

You keep hope alive, you keep hope alive
From the beginning to end, your word never fails
You keep hope alive, because you are alive
      Jesus, you are alive

      There's hope in the morning
      Hope in the evening
      Hope because you're living
      Hope because you're breathing
      There's hope in the breaking
      Hope in the sorrow
      Hope for this moment
      My hope for tomorrow
      There's hope in the morning
      There's hope in the evening
      There's hope because you're living
      There's hope because you're breathing
      There's hope in the breaking
      There's hope in the sorrow
Oh hope for this moment (there's hope)
My hope for tomorrow (there's hope)
You keep hope alive, you keep hope alive
From the beginning to end, your word never fails
Oh, you keep hope alive, you keep hope alive
From the beginning to end, your word never fails
You keep hope alive, because you are alive
Jesus, you are alive, oh yes, you are
You keep hope alive, you keep hope alive

I woke up to a birthday song the Lord gave me.
🎶God sent His Son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal and forgive
He lived and died to buy my pardon
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living
    Just because He lives
How sweet to hold a newborn baby
And feel the pride and joy he gives
But Greater still the calm assurance
This child can face uncertain days because He lives
And then one day, I'll cross that river
I'll fight life's final war with pain
And then, as death gives way to vic'try
I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He reigns
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living
    Just because He lives!

Amen! Hallelujah! Thank You my Jesus for my 73 years.

  28. ADVENT HOPE
How do we sustain our HOPEFUL Advent vigil as we await celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ???
St. Paul provides one of the answers, “Rejoice always. Pray continually. In all circumstances give thanks” so that we may be “preserved innocent for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thes 5:16-24). In other words: Gaudete.

Being constant in prayer helps us in our battle, because satan is always trying to drag us down, to separate us from Christ and to cut off our communication with Him. Prayer is a “battle,” echoed by many saints. It is a battle “against ourselves and against the wiles and snares of the evil tempter who does all it can to turn us away from prayer, away from our union with God. ... The ‘spiritual battle’ of the Christian’s life is intertwined with the battle of prayer”.

Prayer is our primary means of communication with God.

Every soldier knows that one key to defeating an enemy force is to cut off its lines of communication to its commanders, thereby reducing HOPE of survival.
When we allow Satan to draw us offside, and away from prayer and rejoicing, we too, lose our HOPE and begin to forget God’s wonderful promises to us. As we become lax in our spiritual prayer life, we are less prepared to do battle with the evil one, and therefore fail to remain vigilant, keeping watch, and keeping our lamps lit for the day and the hour of His return.

During gray, blue, doomy and gloomy season, we can begin to manufacture joy within ourselves by contemplating God’s infinite goodness toward us, His willingness to enter our hearts just as they are (Remember, He was born in a smelly unkept manger!), and then expressing our gratitude for it all. We can even thank him for the trials, challenges, disappointments, the gray and the blue we face. Every adversity is an opportunity for us to grow in HOPE, holiness and virtue with the help of His grace. Even the pandemic can teach us things like patience, generosity, compassion and HOPE.

Pray always, Paul says, because God will always succeed: “The one who calls you is faithful, and He will also accomplish it” (1 Thes 5:24).

  33. Third Wednesday in Advent

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors!” (Luke 2:13-14 (NRSV))

When Edmund H Sears penned the words to It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, it took time for it to be received well among the Christmas carols used in the church.  You see, Sears was a Unitarian minister (Unitarians do not believe in Jesus being equal with God though they believe Him to be divine), thus Trinitarian (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are equally God) theologians would have nothing to do with anything that came from the pen of a Unitarian. This all occurred in the mid 1800’s but though there still exists the theological controversy between these two beliefs, the carol has risen above such strife and is sung with great faith in all churches.

The carol itself was written in a time of great division in the country.  Sears wrote this hymn on the threshold of the Civil War breaking out. Sears' heart clearly ached over the divisiveness among people when he wrote of the hope of peace of heaven’s all-gracious King coming to a weary world, over the Babel sounds, life’s crushing load.  As is often the case when great poems are put to music and included in church songbooks, not all verses make it.  The middle verse, unfortunately, is rarely included. Is it not appropriate for the merriment of the season?

    Yet with the woes of sin and strife / The world has suffered long;

    Beneath the angel-strain have rolled ‘ Two thousand year of wrong;

    And man, at war with man, hears not / The love song which they bring;

O hush the noise, ye men of strife, / And hear the angels sing!

This link, though not the complete song, emphasizes the ‘Peace on Earth’ element:

Celtic Woman - It Came Upon A Midnight Clear (Live At The Helix In Dublin, Ireland/2013)
    https://youtu.be/LYDa4Kht6Eo

For your reflection, the lyrics for all five verses.
    https://www.hymnsandcarolsofchristmas.com/Hymns_and_Carols/it_came_upon_the_midnight_clear.htm

Angels are beings sent by God with a message the LORD wants us to hear.  As we sing this favorite carol this time of year, may the message the LORD has for the world be heard above all divisiveness.

    With love, Bob

  34. And thous shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. (Job 11:18). For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen as temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18). "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:19-21). "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." (Ephesians 1:18). "He who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." (Galatians 6:8). "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes: but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought nor will cease from yielding fruit." (Jeremiah 17:7-8). "Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5).

  35. Heavenly Father, thank You for being my hope, peace, joy, and love. Fill me with the overflowing hope from the Holy Spirit. Let it permeate throughout me. Let me rest in Your sovereignty Lord. The knowledge of Your perfect, unconditional love and that all things are in Your total control, keeps my heart and mind peaceful because I know that You love Your children so much that You only want good things for us. Remind us, that we are here, not for our happiness, our dreams, and our desires; but that we are here for You, Your will and glory, and to worship and praise You.You created us for Your happiness in us and we have somehow changed that around to be about ourselves and what we want for ourself. Open our eyes, hearts, and minds to see and know that we are selfish and need to step out of our "self" and remember the true reason for "being". I praise You Lord always. Thank You Jesus. This world is so sinful and it is easy to be drawn into its ways and not even realize it. Help us to TRULY put You before ourselves and to make You first and foremost in our lives. Let the wind blow gently with Your kisses to all Your children as a reminder of their heavenly Father in heaven, Who is always with them. Thank You for all my benefits and blessings Lord. Be with me always. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.

  37. I think of hope in the context of today's JC blogspot, as having keen expectation or anticipation of something that is GOING TO HAPPEN. There is no doubt, no place for doubt, that ALL that God through Bible Scriptures says shall happen WILL happen, cannot fail to happen. Similarly any promise God has made to you personally shall not fail to come into existance. Our 'Hope of Heaven' and all that is contained therein is more certain than the prospect of being alive to read today's blog. Our hope of Heaven is as certain to be realized as were the words the angel spoke to Joseph: Matt 1:20 “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Just as the angels' words became an established fact, think of our hope of Heaven as already being an established fact and we are daily getting closer to to its fulfillment.

  46. For som reason my comment today is too long, so I'm posting in 2 parts.
Part 1: "The hope of Heaven" I understand as ' keen anticipation' or 'deep longing'. Whenever working away from home, sometimes for months or even years, I long for my home. This involves thinking about home and loved ones, recalling good times, remembering the little things I appreciate so much. As the time to return home gets closer, so the anticipation rises to 'I can hardly wait'! I find it hard to sleep during flights, especially when going home and to be honest I don't quite enjoy the flight so much as I would normally do.
As this world's situations deteriorate day by day, so the keen anticipation of going Home to Heaven is rising within me. Every now and then I get a little thrill of excitement and start to wonder; start reading again all the scriptures which give tantalising glimpses of Heaven.
You and I meet virtually in this JC blog, after meeting with our Lord we'll be able to enjoy each others company for as long as we like.
    1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV
    But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
    John 14:1-4 NIV
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
    Isaiah 25:8-9 NIV
8 He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people's disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken. 9 In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation."
    John 14:2-4 NIV
2 My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going."
    Revelation 5:9-13 NIV
9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth." 11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. 12 In a loud voice they were saying: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" 13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!"

    ReplyDelete
  47. Part 2: Revelation 7:13-17 NIV
13 Then one of the elders asked me, "These in white robes-who are they, and where did they come from?" 14 I answered, "Sir, you know." And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. 16 'Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,'nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; 'he will lead them to springs of living water.''And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.' "
    Revelation 21:4-7 NIV
4 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." 5 He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." 6 He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.
    Revelation 22:1-5 NIV
1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
One of these days, we're going Home!

  52. As Maplewood stated in an earlier crossover post...December is a great, special and wonderful month. A month in remembrance of our Savior’s birth, a month when hope and redemption came into the world, a month of jubilation, celebration, a month that will forever be cherished!
    OUR devotion reminds us
that God's desire is for all of us to OVERFLOW with hope by the great power of His Holy Spirit. Roman 8 also reminds us we OURSELVES, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, wait eagerly for adoption and the redemption of OUR bodies.
To celebrate the 15th day of this celebratory month, I plan to give JESUS "O" gifts of OPENING my heart up until it accepts and respects His knowing everything OMNISCIENCE, and thank Him, the ONLY ONE Who fills my cup until it OVERFLOWS. So help me God!

He created the ENTIRE UNIVERSE. We are recipients of new life, new birth through Jesus Christ. He has chosen to use His power in such a gracious and merciful way toward us.
At the end of the day, our Lord's attributes inspire awe within us, and like the Psalmist said in Psalm113, we can all marvel at the question "Who is like the Lord our God?"

He did. Our nephew located the terra cotta ridge caps, will pick them up tomorrow, bring them to the house for the roof repair person to install. Thank You Jesus. 6. Joining the mighty prayer train for your daughter against the evil wiles of the evil one. Our great and merciful Father loves your dear daughter and she belongs to Him! Dear Anonymous, Rest in Him Who cares for both of you and know that Jesus has not left your daughter’s side and He never will. He is mighty to save and will fight her battles and give her good health of her body, mind and spirit! Thank You Heavenly Father for opening the door to complete wellness and peace of mind for this young lady who needs you like a flower needs the rain. Cover her with your love and protection, and shine your beautiful light into every dark area of her life! Assure her heart that You are the Author of her story and You hold a bright future in front of her. Thank You for guiding this sleep study and every other part of her life to good. Let her finally rest in your peace and love as You lead her by her hand and as Your Spirit guides her life and mind. Thank You for all this in the powerful Name of our Risen Lord, Christ Jesus. Amen.

      1 John 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

  59. Praying for your daughter, that in Jesus Name all will be well. I've had the sleep study with probes attached etc, resulting in lifelong Keppra medication. Thank God life has been back to normal since then.

  60. Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]."

  61. Good morning, you and your daughter will be in my prayers. We have a daughter who also suffers from mental health and addiction issues and God has remained steadfast in His love and presence during the darkest and most difficult of times. I will be praying for His loving and healing hands upon you, your daughter and your family.

"Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you."

"God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

    God's Blessings,

    John H.

    1. Dear John H. --- Your words are such a great testimony to the Faithfulness of our Lord. Those scriptures you shared are just the BEST! Will be praying for your daughter for total RESTORATION. Our Lord is a Promise Keeper and He can make a way where it looks like there is none. He makes the crooked places straight and the rough places smooth. When we cry out to Jesus, He makes the Giants fall before us, for His name changes everything! He always causes us to TRIUMPH! HALLELUJAH!!!

    2. Amen to that dear JJ! Yes John H! Our Way Maker will lead your daughter and Anonymous’s daughter to all joy, peace and fulfillment and good health of every kind because He loves them and He hears our prayers and knows our trusting hearts. I added them both to my prayers too. Trusting in God’s faithfulness and patiently waiting on the Lord for more victories to celebrate. Thank You Jesus!

  62. After being wide awake at 3:30, finally got up and turned to the devotional for reading and prayer. Finding encouragement, focus, and lots of "O" words to contemplate. I'm somewhat OVERWHELMED by how God makes all things new. When I get OUT of the way, I see His work, His plan, how He gives me glimpses of it but takes over the timing. Thank you, Father! Your plan, your way!

  63. Sure do love you, dear sisters! Praying with JJ for you sweet Audra! God takes our reins when we actually surrender them. Yes! God Wins! He knows what we need and exactly where we’re going. My good sister needs a break and she is enjoying one. God is faithful! My mom and I are alone together until Sunday. Jesus is leading us and the day is going well. My sister and her DH are on a romantic getaway till then. Hope they have a wonderful time. This is precious time for me and my good mom too. All part of God’s amazing Plan.
